We pulled up to the order kiosk at 9:58 pm on 12/21- knowing they closed at 10:00 and not expecting very much. (My daughter had just flown in from Boston and was starving.) On my visits to this particular Bojangles, I have found some inconsistency in the quality of food... and they are soooo slow! On my visit this past weekend, my food was fine - it was hot and fresh. I come to this Bojangles' location because it is easily accessible. I realize it is a fast food chain and that the food is mainly the same from location to location. I walked into the dining room today and the girl at the cash register didn't notice me until I addressed her because she was texting on her cell phone. She didn't know how to ring up my order. Maybe she's new. I understand that but the standing at the counter on your cell phone bothered me because there were two other staff members at the counter doing the same thing. Let me preface this review by saying that I did place a very large order for my workplace. I ordered four family feasts. The order was placed through Doordash at 10:30 a.m. with a request for delivery between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. That's a two hour window of prep time. At 1:15 I contacted my Dasher for an ETA. He'd already been waiting for a while. He spoke to the manager who said it would at least be another 15 minutes before the order would be ready. That would be 1:30, an hour later than my requested DELIVERY time. At 1:52 p.m. my Dasher was finally on his way with my order. Bojangles, this is disgraceful. Four hours to prep one order? Shameful. Actually some of the worst service ever. I order from this location pretty often to get breakfast for work. Its always a large order, typically around $100 and about 25-some biscuits. I had ordered from them about 3-4 times from them until one day, they completely gave my entire order away. I always place the order thru the website and for pickup. I come in and everyone tells me someone already came to get it. The way the situation was handled was awful. The (im assuming) manager, an older black woman, tells me that she can take my payment and start the order up... Keep in mind, the money I use to pay for the order is COMPANY money, not mine. So immediately I said, im not paying anything, this is a YOU problem because YOU were negligent in getting the order together. Her cook even speaks up and pulls the receipts and show sthat I would be coming in to pickup, not a delivery driver. So I sat there for another half hour waiting for them to make the order (also keep in my im WORKING, so about 45 minutes of my time was wasted at Bojangles instead of being at work.) Also, this location is in an awful spot, so there is no such thing as "turning around" in the drive thru Anyway, we get the order all is well. Now theres today. Again, WORKING, so i put in an order and I see they have free delivery till the 18th, which actually worked out perfectly because im super understaffed and cannot go pick it up. I ordered 11 chicken biscuits, 5 bacon egg & cheese, 5 sausage egg & cheese, 4 sausage, and 2 half gals of sweet tea. Order gets here pretty quick, but I see the drive walk up with only 2 boxes and no sweet tea. Aint no way did they fit 27 biscuits in 2 boxes.. I was right, and we were missing 6 chickens and all the sausage egg & cheeses, and of course the sweet tea. Driver says "i have to go get those" lmao that guy was not coming back here. So i call Bojangles, 8 fucking times... it would ring and ring and nobody would answer. Manager finally answers and literally says "so what you wanna come back in?" HUH??? So we get into a little yelling match because theres a reason I put in an order for delivery not pickup, and this is not my fault! She was tryna correct me by saying "you keep saying you but i didnt do your order" IDGAF. YOU. YOU ARE BOJANGLES. YOU MESSED UP. Its very hard to describe our conversation unless you were listening. She was beyond disrespectful, demanding, and does not care if your order was messed up. She also expects YOU, the customer, to come up with a solution to problems THEY cause. Screw this bojangles, from now on I will be going out of my way and ordering from a different location. I was justing passing through Charlotte and i am not that familiar with the city but i do like Bojangles at other locations so i decided to stop in. This is by far the worst Bojangles i've been to.
