Over the past three or four visits, my food has been consistently overcooked to the point of being inedible. On my latest visit, I ordered a Cajun chicken sandwich tray with two chicken quesadillas, barbecue sauce, and a Coke with light ice. The Cajun chicken sandwich was burnt and lacked any seasoning, making it difficult to bite through. The chicken quesadillas were charred on the outside, masking any flavor and making them unpalatable. Additionally, I did not receive the barbecue sauce, and my drink, which I requested with light ice, was inexplicably hot. Moreover, the service was subpar. Despite waiting in line for ten minutes, no staff member attended to the customers at the window. Frustrated, I discarded my meal and left. This experience, which cost me nearly $10, was thoroughly unacceptable. I regret to say that I will not be returning to ANY Cook Out location. Love this Cook Out location. Decided to go for a midnight snack and try their New York cheesecake - with cherry topping for me. I was surprised at how good it is and how generous their portion is. The cheesecake is $1.99 for a slice and it's every bit as good as the New York cheesecake I've had over at Southern Pecan in SouthPark or other high-end places. Whenever I am in the Charlotte city limits it is a must that I find a Cookout. I love cookout and although I've moved away, it is still a staple. This location is pretty new. The staff was super fast and friendly. My food was hot and made to order. The line wasn't long and I'm glad they have the two drive in lanes. About 20 cars had came and gone in the right lane before I was able to get to the menu to order my food. After wait a hour when I got up to the menu I had to wait another 15 minutes just for the person to say how can I help you. She never said can you hold for a sec or anything. My first time and last going here so I asked what the Barbecue platter had on it the choice of meat, the lady taking the order said what you see on the menu. The meat choice is not stated on the menu. We only carry pulled pork she snapped her attitude was horrible. I said to the lady taking the order I have been waiting for a whole hour.
