It's wild how every review for this place is so different. Most of them are negative, but honestly, my experience was the complete opposite. First things first--this is a drive-thru only location (at least from what I could tell). Getting in line is a bit awkward because you have to make a sharp right turn, and once you're in, you're basically bumper-to-bumper. Be prepared for that. Now, based on the long line and what a friend from the area told me, I was expecting to be there for a while. But to my surprise, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and that's with at least 8 cars ahead of me. That's efficient! The staff member who took my order was friendly and professional--didn't rush me, got everything right, and the food? Hot, fresh, and affordable. That's not always a guarantee at Bojangles (trust me, I've had some questionable biscuits before), so this was a pleasant change of pace. If I had one suggestion: when the line is long, having someone outside taking orders could speed things up even more. But overall, I left happy and full. Would I come back? Absolutely. I love Bojanles on JFH Pkwy. I had a worker to fix my order incorrectly, but the manager Brandi fixed it. She was very professional and polite. The worker also apologized to me. I told her it was a simple mistake. Some places are very rude when things like this happens but they weren't and I appreciate that. My family loves the food as well, and says the workers are always polite to them. I've read a few reviews and I think it's the customers and not the workers because I haven't had a bad experience....we go at least 4 out of 7 days a week. They need to get someone at the drive through that had a higher attention span than a gold fish. They use to do great. Now, I told the little what I wanted at the prompter, she never answered me. I get to the window, tell her 3 times what I wanted. She hands me the wrong drink, then forgets my apple crisp. She claimed I did not order one. I said I told you 3 times now and you charged me for it. I had to drive away. I can only tolerate so much ignorance and incompetence in one sitting and didn't want to hurt the little girls feelings though it took everything in me not to tell her how horrible a job she's doing. I came up there to get 3 chicken sandwiches a full hour before closing. They basically told me they didn't feel like making them, I would understand if it was ten minutes before closing but it was only 9. After waiting 20 minutes they handed me these sandwiches that had less than half the meat they would normally have and it tasted terrible. It tasted like they messed up a few chicken sandwiches and decided to give them out at the end of the night. I don't usually review fast food chains but this was not a good experience that deserves to be heard. I walked in and ordered the sandwich combo. Wanted to add pimento cheese to it but I was told they were out. That might have been true but what I observed from the rest of my visit makes me think that there is just laziness in the restaurant and no one had made any up. First clue - huge container of sweet tea was empty. I asked for some from the back and the one employee who seemed to be working, filled it my cup for me. But this was the unsweetest tea I've ever had from Bojangles. Far from legendary like they claim. When I walked out, the tea container was still empty. Second clue - lot of dirty tables not wiped. It took me a few tables to find one that was descent. Third clue - my mashed potatoes and gravy were not hot and fresh. Fourth clue - when there were no customers were at the counter, it looked like employees were playing. I know you need moments like that at work but there were already two things that needed to be done and it looked like no one knew or cared about doing it. One positive - my sandwich rocked! I have been coming to this location my whole life and i am 31 years old. I have never been unhappy. I came yesterday and their was a little of a wait but they are hiring and under staffed. Got the cajun fillet biscuit and was awesome and i got mac and cheese and a reg order of fries. All was amazing. I also got a bonus and bonus service. They had forgot my fries and had put mash taters and gravy in the bag, and the lady said oh honey ill still give you some fries. So bonus taters are awesome was piping hot and were delicious, the fries hot too. I also asked for ranch and mayonaise and was not skimpy on the mayo packets. LOVE this place and have all my life. I used to love this locations food. I used to love bojangles. But the last time I went was the final time I will go there. My last two trips to Bojangles were me coming home with burnt chicken that was simply unable. My first time was biscuits which the manager was very nice and replaced on my next visit. But that didn't take away the fact that they actually wrapped this burned chicken in a burned biscuit and bagged it up for someone to eat. The cost of the food is almost doubled from what it was and they thought it was okay to bag burned biscuits and chicken! But they did fix the issue that time. This second time I didn't even bother calling back. I got a family meal and asked for substitutions. To start with I was charged $5 to substitute two pieces of chicken. I used to pay $1 per piece of chicken that I substituted. but that aside I understand food is more expensive so I was willing to pay the $5 but only to check my box and one of the pieces of chicken had not been substituted so I actually paid $5 for one. This time I turned around directly and went back to the store and had them replace it. Unfortunately I didn't actually look at the quality of the chicken at the time or I would have totally told them to take the whole thing back and return my money all together. But it wasn't until I got home that I realized not only did I not get any gravy with my mashed potatoes all of my chicken was super extra crispy! Let's just say it was burned. It was so bad there was no flavor I couldn't even tell it was a spicy flavor to it it was just hard pieces of chicken. I paid $36 for a box of hard chicken and no gravy. I ended up having to make my own gravy at home before I could even eat this completely untasty meal and I will not be going back. When I got back I found they had gotten our order all wrong although I had carefully explained....one meal with all white meat, one meal with all dark meat. They gave us both meals with all dark meat. And as far as I could tell I was the only customer there. I was so mad when I got home! The fries were a it salty for my taste but the biscuit was amazing... so fluffy and soft.. my cousin ordered the steak biscuit and gravy. These are the rudest people I've ever dealt with!!! They never greet you, nor do they rarely get your order right. During a recent well advertised promotion, I ordered and the cashier barked at me that she couldn't hear me and I had to pull up to the window. When I gave her my order, she said her register didn't have a button for that and that I'd have to pay full price or leave, then when I asked to speak to a manager she said there wasn't one there that day. Well NO SHIT!!! It took me 4 days to get in touch with the area manager who apologized profusely and offered to make my order right if I came back by the store. I came by a couple of nights later around 9 and all the lights were off and the place appeared to be closed up like a drum an hour early. AVOID THE PHONE BOOTH BOJANGLES ON JFH Pkwy unless you are a gambler. And these people want to be paid $10 to $15 per hour.
