The waitress apologized and brought us back fresh ones, which should have been brought to us fresh and hot in the first place. Ordered the flo's filet medium well, steak came back well done. Hubby ordered ribeye mid well and came back almost blue, rare rare. Manager did not speak to us to talk about the situation at all. Serving not at-temperature food is a risk of food borne illnesses. Long Horn is the restaurant for meat lovers. The decor is unusual, very much country western vibe. The horse bridles are throwing me off hanging on the wall but the rest is cool from the wall art iron work to the cowboy and Indian lamp shades. It's got to be different when you dine in Cartersville! The service was spectacular! Our server Hannah is the sweetest lady and went above and beyond to take care of us. Horrible experience, I travel for work and want to sit at a bar sometimes to eat lunch and do my business. In the response I get an old lady who yells at me for being on my computer because she probably feels that 2pm is her dinner time. I feel this is probably the worst longhorn I have ever visited. We came in late one night to eat some good food after a long day at the baseball fields and man did we have a great experience. The closing staff on 2/21/26 was the best I've seen in a long time. Our food was hot, fresh, and fast. Our server Jaell was the BEST!!! She definitely deserves a raise. We went with a large party for my daughter's graduation and they were very accommodating and the service was great. Having eaten recently at another steakhouse in the area, I will say that I preferred the steak from the other place - this one had too much gristle for me, and when the steak is only 6 oz., it doesn't leave you with a large portion to eat. However, I much prefer the sides and soups here at Longhorn, as well as the hearty, fresh bread. You also can't beat the fresh strawberry lemonade! Came here for lunch on a Monday and the 12oz Ribeye was perfectly seasoned, juicy and tender. I was so impressed, especially after reading the comments. It was SO good. I mean I just got back from Chicago in December and it was SO good! Just went back for the third time. The steak I ordered was over cooked (I ordered Medium). Our server (Pammela) saw it and asked if she could fix it for me. I told her it was okay and she insisted. It came back perfect and I was highly impressed. Paid 77 dollars for a chewy tough steak, overcooked chicken and a RAW lobster tail. I went to the bathroom and threw it up, manager wouldn't even talk to me about it after I think the cook came up and was so nonchalant about it and ignored my wife when she voiced her concerns about me throwing up my 14 dollar add on. Server was old and grumpy acted like it was a chore to provide service don't ask for more than one to go box lol, they said they will refund the raw mess they served me but apparently I have to give my phone number email and name to get a refund manually in 25/48 hours why they didn't just give me a gift card is beyond me. If a customer threw up in my restaurant it wouldn't be the item that caused them to get sick just getting refunded. Terrible place won't return. read more

Our server was very professional and attentive to our needs. Drinks and app came out quick. We ordered the tonions for the appetizer. I ordered a ribeye steak with Mac and cheese and loaded bake potato. Wife got the grilled chicken entree with Brussel sprouts and broccoli. The bride ordered a grilled shrimp entree. Her fiance ordered a ribeye also. His daughter got a burger, which she didn't eat, because she ate too much free bread and the fries. The consensus was, the food quality was excellent. This was the worst meal I have ever had at a Longhorn! I did carry out, so I was stuck with it. If I had been in the restaurant, I would have called for the manager and sent it back. I ordered the salmon, asparagus and a baked potato. I have eaten the salmon many, many times at other Longhorns and it is usually delicious. This time, it was so severely overcooked that it was like a dry piece of wood. I only took one bite. It was like eating sawdust. The asparagus was completely mush. It was also extremely overcooked and inedible. The only thing that was edible out if my $25 meal was the baked potato. I had really looked forward to my carry out meal. Instead, I had to throw out the salmon and the asparagus. They were only fit for the garbage. I have been eating at various Longhorn restaurants for 30+ years. It is usually great food. My food today was a disaster! I will never go to this Cartersville Longhorn again and I suggest that you don't either. The Longhorn in Acworth is much better. read more
