Bojangles - Cajun biscuit meal - Fast Food Near Me - Greer, South Carolina

I arrived at 9:10 PM expecting a quick dinner, but this was one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences I've had. I originally tried to order a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, but they were out of both bacon and eggs. I then asked for a ham biscuit, and they were out of ham as well. I ended up settling for a sausage biscuit with Bo-Rounds, but it took over 15 minutes just to receive the Bo-Rounds. I also ordered a 2-piece leg and thigh combo for my girlfriend, only to find out they were out of that too. We had to switch the order to a Cajun Filet Biscuit, which took another 5 minutes. On top of that, they were out of sweet tea and didn't have Bo-Berry Biscuits either. After finally getting our food, I realized they had forgotten my second order of Bo-Rounds. I had to go back through the drive-thru to get it corrected. The only positive part of the experience was the manager (or the employee who appeared to be the manager). He was extremely polite, apologized for everything, and refunded the missing Bo-Rounds without any hassle. His professionalism was the only reason I'm giving this place even one star. Being out of this many menu items at once, combined with the long wait times and incomplete order, made for a very frustrating experience. I understand that things happen, but running out of so many basic items and still taking such a long time to serve customers is unacceptable. I hope management addresses these issues because the staff member who helped me deserved much better support than what the restaurant was providing. read more

This location is filthy and unsanitary. I reported to SC State Inspectors this morning. The workers stood around and do not clean the work areas and tables. The food made us very sick. I hope the inspectors will check this out and close it down until they can serve food in a safe manner!!!! Every where you look are red flags to enter at your own risk. Food wasn't fresh or hot. The chicken bites were very small and dry. You could tell they had been sitting there for a while. The biscuit was cold, and the drink barely had ice. The lady at the drive-thru wasn't very nice either. She couldn't even say thank you. What does it take to get a good meal? They charge you $10 - $12 for a combo and you can't eat it. Stopped by here on a recent road trip down south. Service could've been faster; for some reason, my order took much longer than my brother's. Anyway, I ordered the three piece dark meat plate with bo-rounds and dirty rice and the chicken sandwich. The bone-in chicken was juicy enough but not super flavorful and the pieces were pretty small. I liked the potato rounds (bigger than the usual hash browns at other fast food spots), which had a slight onion flavor that was tasty. Dirty rice was pretty good as well. The chicken wasn't actually very spicy--I think the chicken sandwich was spicier and a better deal. Biscuit was okay. All in all, it was fine but Popeye's is definitely the winner in the fast-food fried chicken game with much tastier chicken than anywhere else. read more

The reviews are pretty harsh on this place, and I only go through the drive thru (because if you wanted a sit down dinner or lunch - what really makes you think of a fast food place to begin with? Seriously!). But I'd like to set the record straight here. I've had AMAZING food from here but I've also had subpar food from here. They're a bit overpriced on their chicken, but nothing bad enough to complain about. It's usually very good and cooked decently. Their mac and cheese is overcooked every single time. That's just how they serve it. Their dirty rice is amazing. I enjoy all the sides I've tried from here so far. If you're in the mood for fried chicken there aren't many alternatives in the city and this certainly isn't a bad choice by any means, but it's hit or miss when you'll get that five star chicken and sometimes you'll get something drier than the desert. That along with mushy Mac and cheese and price being a bit up there for a fast food place lands them into the middle ground area. 3/5 stars. read more

I'm so sick of this place messing up my order. Today was the final straw. I had to write them up. I ordered a combo of chicken supreme with Mashed potatoes and ranch dressing and sweet tea. Combo comes with a biscuit. Well I get to work and see they didn't give me a biscuit or my ranch dressing. And to top it off I didn't get the right tenders. Ordered the 4 pc tenders with bbq sauce, dirty rice, pinto beans and unsweetened tea. First off, gave me sweet tea. I always check before leaving the drive-through. When I got my meal, I had honey mustard instead of the barbecue. No spoon, fork or spork. How am I supposed to eat my beans and rice? Checking my receipt after waiting for it, the cashier had rung up the honey mustard and a Pepsi two things I did not even mention. I've tried over and over again to give this place chances but I can't anymore. I went 2 days ago and waited 40 MINUTES to order because the waiters clearly cared more about the gossip she was spreading than doing her job. When I said " hello" I was met with a very rude " hold on a minute, I'm busy" Oh, I'm sorry that I asked for some food at the place you work at! When she finally asked for my order, i ordered a kid bo box supreme because I didn't have that much money on me. I also asked for BBQ sauce and a large pink lemonade. When I got to the window, I got my drink, but no straw. When I got home and opened my long awaited food, instead of fries, I got coleslaw,( I never asked for coleslaw) and RANCH dressing INSTEAD of the BBQ sauce I CLEARLY asked for. Will not be back, because dry chicken, overly salted fries and sugar water are NOT worth the wait. read more

This was a less than ideal for my first experience at a Bojangles'. I'm from Ohio and have never been to a one their chain restaurants, but if they all were like this, I probably wouldn't go again. The woman who did my order was lovely and answered my questions about the food since I genuinely didn't know what to order. From there, things went south quickly as the chicken I ordered wasn't ready to be served (a few customers actually got their food before mine). I overheard the woman who put the order in ask the cook directly behind her if they had dropped the chicken into the fryer yet (after about two minutes), and he responded that he hadn't yet and that it would take another 4 minutes to cook. So even after waiting, they hadn't even started cooking it yet. The rest of the staff was joking around amongst themselves beyond the girl behind the register, the cook included. I was pretty astonished as I'm standing there waiting for my food that not one, but two employees that were on the clock, went and started chatting with another employee on break at one of the tables. -_- When my food was finally finished, another employee that was serving it took her grand'ole time putting it into the brightly decorated Bojangles' box. From what I saw, the employees truly didn't care about the quality of their customer service at this point-- and it was a SLOW day. I question how the staff would have responded during a full-rush. Did I mention I used to work in the food service industry myself? If it weren't for the food tasting good and the girl who took my order, the stars would be even less. read more
