We had a nice Bojangles picnic for Father's Day. Great picnic food without having such a hassle of preparing and cleaning!

A chicken place that does NOT have pickles and notorious for not giving you a straw. I miss Popeye's in Oak Ridge.

However, recently there has been a dip in service. Side note, all of the problems I have experienced have been with the drive thru, so it could be just that. They've been slower than normal and onetime had a hard getting the order right. The biggest instance though was when we were told to pull up and wait. When someone came out, he asked what was our number, but we didn't get one. Trying to figure if it was our order he got very snappy and was very rude about the whole the situation. I can understand new people or busy days but attitude is something that's avoidable. The ladies that I've interacted when first going blew me away on how nice they were, so dealing with this gentleman was shocking. Overall great food, service (lately) is hit or miss.

However the costumer service really needs some help, we were ordering and the cashier just looked at my wife not even asking "what do you want" that would've been better than just looking at her. I get that people have hard times sometimes but if you have a job you must take care of it. Place was clean and with a good environment which is a good thing and again dinning in there doesn't feel like a fast food place.

Today, we drove to Oak…read moreRidge where we used to live and had lunch at our favorite restaurant when Oak Ridge was home. I would love to move back to our Oak Ridge house. If we could move back, we would once again be regulars at El Cantarito and I will tell you why. I'm the frugal yelper. I love a good deal and I recognize value. That doesn't mean I like cheap food or don't enjoy fine dining. I just like value. That's what you get at El Cantarito. Their prices are fabulous and their food must be good quality because it tastes great. Dan and I each got a tostada lunch for just under $5. Dan got the tostaquac which included ground beef and sour cream. I got one with everything besides the ground beef and sour cream. Both had refried beans, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. Delicious. That came with rice and beans. The salsa was delicious, just the right amount of kick. I made the mistake of ordering the large beer without asking how large it was. It was 32 Oz. Dan got one, too. That was way too much for either of us, so we left much of it. The large draft beer was $4.99. During happy hour domestics are $1.99 for a small and $3.99 large. Modelo is a dollar more. It has a Mexican diner feel to it. It looks authentic and very much is authentic. During lunch hour it is very busy and a little noisy. We recognized our server but she didn't remember us. The check just said she's #2. She didn't recognize us. #2 gave us excellent service. We couldn't have asked for any better service. Oak Ridge is so lucky to have this wonderful Mexican restaurant. I hope they appreciate it.

I clearly stated that I wanted certain add ons to my sandwich for example: green bell peppers, yellow mustard, and banana peppers. And I also clearly stated that I DID NOT wanted mayonnaise and tomato. Guess what I got. Mayonnaise and Tomato. ALSO guess what add ons I got. NONE. Not my green bell peppers, banana peppers or yellow mustard. Really?? How hard is it to make a sandwich. When I called down to the place to explain what the problem was. Keep in mind. I kept my temper and I did not engage in any rude behavior. I kindly explained the situation and the person who was on the other end began to tell me that it wasn't his fault and that he made all the sandwiches correct. Well that's funny. Cause you clearly didn't. Seriously this place needs to step up their game. This place always has me writing complaints. And yes. This isn't the first time... Mind you I spent 40 dollars for all my food together. Just to get the polar opposite of what I asked for, when I could have just made the damn sandwich myself at home but I needed the connivence.. see how that turned out. Safe to say, I'm tired of given this place 2nd chances. I will never be returning. -Fuck off Firehouse
