The Wake Forest Bojangles can be good or can be bad just depending on the day. Sometimes the order is wrong and I understand mistakes can happen but they don't handle resolving the problem very well. But when they are on their game it is a good meal. Although lately the chicken pieces have decreased a lot in size and the prices have jumped considerably. The drive thru works better when payment is taken when you order with the worker outside. Although they don't seem to offer that option anymore. read more

I rarely go to this location but every time I do they have someone working at the window who is either impatient, has a nasty attitude or plain just doesn't wanna work there and it shows. I just left about 15 minutes ago and the lady working there got upset and sighed because I have a coupon that I even said I had when I was at the order window, continued to huff and puff because I was waiting for her to put the card machine out the window like they always do and she's just motioning for my card and finally says "cardddd" like she had been asking for 30 seconds when it was maybe 2 or 3. Food is usually never wrong except a few times here and there. But why hire people if you're not gonna train them to at least be somewhat friendly? I don't understand it. I did take out since the line was in the street. Waited awhile for someone to take my order. Finally a girl stepped up bit starred at me with zero greeting. After about 30 seconds I said hello with no response. Didn't know if she was ready. I placed my order and received tea with no ice, didn't know I needed to state that, the girl and a couple of others gave off the vibe that they didn't want to be there. New to the region, I have never had Bojangles before. Always on the hunt for new things to try, this seemed like the perfect place to satisfy my fried chicken cravings. I was not disappointed. The chicken was not the best I have ever had but it was flavorful, well seasoned, and kept me coming back for piece after piece. The sizes of the pieces were a bit smaller than other fried chicken chains, but not enough to complain about. It just means I HAVE to eat more pieces. Not a bad problem to have. The sides were all very solid as well. Mac n cheese can be a hit or miss and this was a solid hit. Again, it was not the best I've ever had but I couldn't really complain about it either. The Bo-Tato Rounds were also really good. They have a onion undertone that I quite enjoyed. I would imagine they would make a great side for their breakfast options. Their biscuits were also solid and about what I expected. I would definitely come back to Bojangles. I've come here a couple of times over the last 5 months and our orders are never correct (although correct on the screen and receipts). Most of the workers are rude even though I try to keep it light, smile, and say please/thank you. I've worked restaurants for nearly half my life so kept trying to be empathetic and give them grace thinking maybe I caught them at a "bad time," but two things are consistent no matter what day or time I visit - wrong orders and bad service. Today was the worst experience and we finally decided to never spend our money at this location again. When I asked for a bag (they gave me everything separately) and also for what was missing in my order, the worker responded eye rolls. I have heard a lot about this place so when we made our way to the east coast I had to try it. We got here about 4:30pm on a Wednesday. It was not busy. The menu is pretty overwhelming when you know nothing about the chain. I asked the employee taking orders what she recommended and she said "chicken." She did not ask any further questions about things like "do you want fried? grilled? etc" So I bumbled through my order of a cajun chicken biscuit with fries. She asked if I wanted a combo and I said yes. She asked for drink I said water. I guess the sandwich alone was $3.19 and to make it a combo was $2 for fries and what would usually be a drink. My husband got a 3 piece combo dark meat with mac & cheese. The kidlet got mac & cheese, a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. Kids meal also came with a biscuit and chocolate milk. Not bad for $3.99 Overall our meal was $17.46 which is about $8 less than a fast casual place we would go to back home. We have a pretty extensive list of places we want to try while on the east coast so I can't imagine we will make it back here but I would consider eating there in the future. read more

I've never written a Yelp review before, but I've been coming here for a while and I feel that this needs to be said. Firstly, the food is good. However, the service (specifically the drive thru) is absolutely horrendous. One guy is constantly rushing people ("Will that be it? Will that be it? Will that be it?") and yet they still take forever to serve the food. Why rush people when you aren't able to keep up with your own pace? Not only are you rushed to make your order, it's almost like every employee resorts to a default attitude. It feels as if everyone hates their job and is taking it out on us (or they're being trained to act the same way, but I doubt it). Don't get a job if you can't conduct yourself with professionalism. One time I could even hear them making fun of us in the back, and we have never given them an attitude or firm voice whatsoever. Even after all that, they regularly get your orders wrong and they almost never add the sauce you ask for. We have to ask at the serving window for our sauce 99% of the time because they have forgotten it. I understand messing up; being a retail worker isn't easy. But the fact that they've been doing this for so long only implies that no change is being done and that they do not care. To flip this on a good note, the inside of the Bojangles operates quite smoothly and is relatively clean. The employees are nice, professional, and I've gotten my orders correct every time. Terrible experience. I got out of my son's soccer game and took him here. We just wanted to enjoy some delicious chicken tenders that we always get. We did drive thru but no one was there to place our order for 30 minutes. Finally, a rude lady said what did I want. I didn't really argue or anything but just placed my order. Once I got to the window, there was only one car in front of me, no big deal. I waited and waited for half an hour!!!!! Finally got to the window. The lady was extra rude and snatched my money from my hands. I waited a few minutes to get my food only to see that she ate some of the food I ordered in front of me not knowing I was watching her. Once I got my food it was all wrong. I had no fries in my son's 4 piece supreme, tea had no flavor, gave me the wrong sauce, and only gave me 3 tenders!!! So, I went back to get fresh fries with extra seasoning, and they hassled me about a receipt...even after showing them the bank transaction with WAKE FOREST BOJANGLES on it. I have always had great experiences at this location (and I stop here a lot). The service is always very friendly. They work to make sure the line moves quickly (even when it's long and into the road. They'll have workers out taking orders from the car line. One cold morning I asked for a bottled water and when I got to the window they told me their bottled waters were frozen. They gave me one but tried repeatedly to give me something else (like juice) due to the water being frozen. I insisted I didn't need anything else and they gave me the water for free. Fried Chicken! I've heard so much of Bojangles but this is my first time trying it. You could ask to get your chicken from a freshly made batch. Also, the honey mustard sauce was really good! I visited this location last week and while in the drive thru I watch them give my order to the customer ahead of me and when that person checked that the box to ensure it was the right order he ate out the box and then returned it. They then gave him the correct order and he pulled off. When I got to the window they insisted the I take the same box the prior customer returned. I refused and loss 6 plus dollars but I will never patronize this location again. Just nasty for them to have asked me to accept that returned order. read more

They were really busy but man did that line go fast! As fast as they were going, they seemed to be getting every order correct.
