What was not so great is the feathers on the chicken wings. Ugh. The sweet tea wasn't the best it tasted commercial. The biscuits were good the next morning with gravy. October 2024. I remember having eaten here years ago but didn't leave a review. When in NC, you gotta do Bojangles. Cajun Filet Biscuit is a MUST. I also got mashed potatoes and coleslaw. I was hoping for green beans but apparently not at this particular location. Drive thru line was quite long but service was quick and order was accurate. Affordable family meals! Great tasting chicken for adults (cajun spice) but the meal tastes a bit spicy for little ones. Good slaw and tea. Gets busy like the other fast food chain whether drive-thru or dine-in so bring just enough patience, the wait is not super long. I absolutely hate when I order bad especially when it's my first visit ugh - Bojangles your advertisements along I-95 had me drooling. That's right, 5 stars! Listen, I'm from NY and there are Yelpers who laugh when people give 5 stars for fast food places. Guess what? I don't care. This is my guilty pleasure and the pleasure is all mine. In NY they have Popeye's fried chicken. I enjoy it with a sweet tea, its what I crave. I was in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk VA. Once you have chicken & a true southern sweet tea?? It's like crack. And you always want that fix. Anywhoo, Bojangles! I saw the sign off I95. We just left this place in Selma. We are from out of town and don't know their system for the drive thru. We turned down the wrong aisle and a gentleman was kind enough to let us go in front of him. When we got to lady taking orders she asked us if we were next in line. We told her that the gentleman behind us waved to us to go in front of him. She then proceeded to tell us that we shouldn't have done what we did even though the man said we could go before him. That is horrible customer service. We left. read more

this place has gone down hill. the managers are not directing their employees to work the right way. they are slow as mess, the line doesn't ever move, there are too many people trying to eat here and not enough room in the restaurant. the food has gotten extremely slack. the chicken the majority of the time has bad pieces in it or isn't warm, they don't read the tickets when making the food and then give you the wrong food, when they are corrected they become agitated and rude and have an attitude and reluctantly fix it or have an attitude about it. the atmosphere of the place is just not what it used to be and it has gone done entirely. there needs to be new management put in and new employers that actually give a crap about working. the personalities of these people are horrible. they are so rude, unenthusiastic, disrespectful, hateful, and they don't care at all and it is not okay that it had been normalized for them to act this way and the fact that the managers are egging them on and not actually managing like they are supposed to do. if the current managers aren't willing to put their foot down then they need to be replaced and maybe have classes in how to manage. overall, people are rude and it's not a good place to eat and i dont understand why people continue to eat there. read more

The people that work here are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. I had a issue with an order (which was just a mistake.) I spoke with them and these guys went above and beyond to satisfy me. On my road trips down 95 South, I enjoy Bojangles for some really good Southern Fried Chicken specialties. For breakfast (served all day), the Cajun Filet Biscuit, Botato Rounds, BoBerry biscuits with coffee are my favorites. On the regular menu, I enjoy the greasy fried chicken with dirty rice, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet potato pies, and a large sweet tea! We just had lunch here while traveling home on a very busy Saturday at the end of spring break week. We were astounded at the efficiency of this restaurant! The parking lot looked jampacked, but they had people monitoring the 2 drive-through lines and plenty of people working behind the counter so that our dine-in ordering process was lightning fast. There were even two young men stationed in the dining area whose job it was to clear and sanitize tables. We were pleased that all Covid protocols were followed, and even more pleased that the food was delicious! Well well, I love Bo's!!! I went here just before lunch time, I guess it was the calm before the storm because there was no one in line. The staff I encountered were positive and happy to serve. The food was ok. I ordered a cajun filet combo with no mayo and no season on the fries and a cajun filet club combo with seasoned fries, it was printed on the ticket correctly but when I got back to my job, there was no seasoning on the order that it was requested for. In the fast food industry, there's a vast difference between the awful service and poor attitudes that we are all used to. But last night, just shy of midnight, after being rejected from 3 nearby fast food chains, we saw the light on in Bojangles. I pulled to the order box and a friendly voice said, "welcome! Order whenever you are ready." I ordered my supremes and mashed potatoes, and pulled the 2nd window. The individual at the window was named Keyshaun, this man must be lauded for his superb customer service interaction, assuring me that this would be the best Bonjangles I would ever have. Keyshaun did not lie, the biscuit was flaky and delicious. The potatoes, so creamy. The fries, seasoned to perfection. Now I know that they must've been a bit distressed that they had to fry some fresh chicken tenders so near their closing hours, but the did it, masterpiece chicken. Other cleaning associates were complaining loudly about other associates and how they only get paid minimum wage. And when we were leaving they was an associated smoking right in front of the door. The sandwich comes with a slice of tomato, a piece of lettuce, fried chicken breast, mayo, on a bun. My husband got the chicken strips meal with mashed potatoes and the strips were good too. It's always Bo time. I love me some fried chicken and fries. This place is excellent and they even use diet oil to get their chicken!!! I don't know what they put in their seasoning, but it must be crack or something. Yeah service is t the greatest but it's not sit down 5 star diner so whatever. You're there for a $5 meal not service. I would be a little grumpy too making $8/hour. I think they have a right to be a little upset by that. Foods excellent and that's what really matters. read more
