First-timer here! I am from the North where Bojangles does not exist and I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations for a fast food joint! My husband and I went through the drive-thru on a Saturday morning. It was quick, our order was correct and came out piping hot. I got the cajun chicken biscuit. The chicken had a good level of spice to it and the biscuit was a nice fluffy compliment to the chicken. My only critique is I think it needs some kind of sauce. Need to improve on making sure total order is correct on $125 order. Complete lack of customer service. Unable to contact by phone due to constant fast busy signal. Contact made three times online with Bojangles main office notifying them of missing items, requesting some one to contact me, left name, cell number, email address and physical address. Absolute TERRIBLE service!!!!!!! My wife ordered a 9 piece bo bite meal and a 12 piece family chicken meal and they have her pull forward for what was explained to her as "5-10 minute" wait and she sat there for AN HOUR!!!! With no update. Finally sees a worker walk out and simply ask if we know how long it'll be and he says one second and never comes back. I then proceed to call the store FIVE TIMES back to back with no answer to simply see if I can get an update. Not one answer. This was also during a monsoon so the drive thru was not slammed and I understand nobody wants to walk in rain and I get that but to blatantly make her sit for an hour for a relatively small order is ridiculous and especially for someone spending over $50 at your establishment i'd think better customer service was expected. Sad because we love bangles but if employees would rather convenience themselves to wait out a storm instead of running a paying customer their food because of a little rain is a disgrace. I'm not a huge fan of fast food however I admit after moving back to SC after 25 years I was curious to see if Bojangles was as good as my memory thought. The short answer is according to this facility no. First a message to all those fast-food restaurants, no one likes AI drive-thru! We want real people talking to us! So I put my order in and drove to the window which was of normal speed. The cashier was extremely nice, the only highlight of my visit. He was courteous and quick to swipe the card and give me my meal. For those who are reading this, I can't stress enough, check your bag before you leave. I ordered 3 mild chicken thighs with mashed potatoes AND gravy all of which I was charged for on the receipt. When I got home, I got two very spicy thighs and potatoes with NO gravy. Needless to say, I wasn't happy yet I came from a long way away so I wasn't about to go back. As for the food, the chicken was juicy at least but I can't do heat so it wasn't a pleasant experience. Then to eat potatoes without gravy is a crime in many cities; while I joke fast food mashed spuds are notorious for being bland. Without gravy there wasn't much reason to continue eating paste. At least the biscuit were decent. Overall, this facility failed on many levels namely being able to accurately take the order and make sure said items are in the bag along with ensuring the right items are identified. As for the food the chicken was average while the potatoes were subpar with an average biscuit. At least the staff was nice while messing up the order. In summary, avoid this place until more reviews can prove they know how to take an order. read more

Orders the 3 wing combo. Very fresh chicken. Biscuit was cooked just right. I usually have to ask for a light biscuit, but I didn't this time. Dirty rice and green beans were a little salty, but edible. Love that they have the festive holiday packaging! Very clean dining room. Should be zero stars. I have eaten at many Bojangles in multiple states. The food and the service is typically good across the board. This location, however, was absolutely terrible. Ended up waiting almost 30 minutes (told to pull over in the drive thru) for our food with no rhyme or reason to how the orders were delivered to the customers. To top it off, got back to my hotel and the order was wrong. I would hope the owner/operator or corporate can step in and fix what's wrong with this location. We wanted to stop somewhere quick on a Sunday afternoon. But unfortunately the drive through wasn't working so we had to go inside. I could tell they were short staffed but we waited patiently for our turn to order at the counter. I think it was the manager who was working the counter, honestly he needs a raise. Despite how busy it got and how short handed he was. He was still friendly, patient and kept his cool as more people continued to walk in and him having to repeat over his headset that you had to come inside to order. It's so rare for me to see someone show that much composure AND stop to help his employees. I mean the food was alright, my tenders were over cooked, the Bo-berry biscuits were delicious. But I'm giving this rating a 3 But the manager who was working gets a 5-star. read more

The food was cold and the service could've been better. Placed an order through uber for pickup- not delivery. Uber had a special where you buy a certain biscuit and you get an item free, we selected the biscuit & gravy. Driving 4 miles home, we noticed it wasn't there and either the items were cold or appeared to be soggy with grease. Called and they said it's an uber issue. Yes, we ordered through a third party and picked it up ourselves, however, the restaurant FAILED to deliver on ensuring we had all items. Bojangles on North Main Street in Summerville is one of my favorite Bojangles locations in the area and just about every time I pass by it is Bo Time. The chicken, sides, and biscuits are consistently well prepared and delicious here and this is a really good option if you have to feed many hungry people on short notice for a good value. I agree with all of these one star reviews 100%. Especially the DoorDash one. I drive for DoorDash every now and then and I've had the misfortune of having to go to this restaurant two times. And both times I was ignored by the staff. The first time I was the only one in there. The woman working the drive-through walked by me several times, and never acknowledged me. The second time I went in there was the same thing however, there were two other door Dashers in there receiving the same treatment. They just don't care and they have very horrible attitudes. Tried this location multiple times and have never been impressed with staff. We got there around 6pm and I asked for a bacon egg and cheese and they said they didn't have any more eggs. I told them no problem and that I'd take a sausage and cheese biscuit instead and they said "no we're not serving breakfast anymore, you can get that in the morning". We then asked for a box of fried chicken and a coke and they replied they were out of coke. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" says cashier that doesnt feel the need to show even the slightest courtesy to an 11 year old CHILD. "Thank you" says my 11 year old because she has been raised with basic decency. Evil, firebreathing, excuse for a person scoffs and walks away without saying anything. I come back in after my call. Proceed to wait 10 more minutes without any acknowledgement except the occasional stink eye because somehow me patronizing this business has completely ruined Cruella's day, when we haven't even exchanged one word. Extremely aggressive, rude interactions and/or wrong orders and, when the order is wrong AND the doors are locked, you have to walk up to the window--between the window and the vehicle waiting for his/her order--to, again, interact with the rude "customer service" personnel. Restaurant doesn't close until 10 according to google, front door ALSO says they're currently open. It's 8:30 and we can see all the workers inside. After waiting for more than 10 minutes to get no response we loop around again to the drive thru speaker a second time and we can see the workers inside staring at our car. Never got a response. It seems like forever and a day that Bojangles was demolished and then remodeled. But when they opened the line has been wrapped around the building! I really can say all of Summerville really missed Bojangles! So I've gone at least 3 times in one week and each time my service was different but the same. So I'll go and get the supremes combo and my son a 2pc tender. Each time I left there, they have forgotten something! Imagine going all the way home with your meal and you have no sauce for your tenders?!? How frustrating, would you be? Now you have to eat dry tenders!
