Now that Shenanigan's is closed I'll probably come here more often. Their wings are phenomenal, drinks are good & service is always friendly and quick. I have yet to sit in the dinning area but want to soon.

Definitely enjoyed my meal and would come back again. Always love a good pretzel bun. Great service.

My wife and I are from NY and enjoy authentic Italian cooking. This place delivers the goods, as it pertains to great Italian cuisine, which incidentally can be hard to find in Summerville. Ownership is from Pittsburgh, PA and they are on top of their game. My wife and I usually dine at the bar where barkeeps Tiffany and Devon, are always on their game. They both have an extensive knowledge of the menu and provide extraordinary service. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed with the food or the presentation. This is our local go to restaurant! Nuff Said

Ok walked in and were immediately greated by Mel. She went over the entire menu with us making recommendations as she went since this was our first time in. We started with calamari and it was breaded lightly with homemade marinara that was delicious. I got the chicken Marsala which was made a bit different than the usual way but it was packed with flavor. My husband got a ribeye and said it was delicious. Mel made us feel like family during our visit. So much to the point we returned this morning (the next day) for brunch. When we arrived sat it was between lunch and dinner and was not very busy, by the time we left it was really busy! Today when we arrived for brunch they were already slammed and Mel not only remembered us but remembered our names and made us feel welcome! Looking from the outside you really don't know what to expect with a small place in a strip mall but do NOT sleep on this place. We have lived here 6 years and can't believe it took us this long to find this spot! We hope to return soon as their menu is huge and many more things we want to try!

We've heard so many great things about Palmetto Flats so we had to try for ourselves. The service was great and the food was really good. Our kids gobbled theirs up and we definitely had no problem finishing ours. The dress is pretty casual and it has an upper scale pub feel. My only thing I wasn't a fan of his the sticky feel on the tables and little slipperiness on the floors. I think most places get like this with humidity though.

Everything was great. Except one dish. The frutti di mare, it was cold all the way to the middle. Like it had been waiting for all the other food to finish. Which is understandable. But it took away any of the spotlight the pasta dish could have had.

The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive. Ambience is nice with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a big wraparound bar, and an outside bar too. Little details like the water goblets on the table add a classy feel. Parking was tough--we had to park down the street because it was so crowded--but it was worth it. The rest of the menu looked tempting, everything is à la carte, and prices felt appropriate for a nice evening out. The food tasted very authentic Italian. We'll definitely be back!

Went here on a whim bc they just happened to be at Low Tide near my house. I hadn't heard anything…read moreabout it and had no idea how good it would be, I just figured it'd be okay and that would've been fine. Stayed basic and just ordered the chicken parm sandwich and meatball sub. We cut both in half and shared. That was easily the best chicken parm sandwich and the best meatball sub I've ever eaten. So much flavor & the textures were delightful. I usually can pick out things that would've made my food better, even if I enjoyed my meal, but in this case I have no notes. It was absolute perfection. Wish I would've taken a photo so I could post it here but I wasn't expecting to leave a review. Bravo!

To begin, I will state unequivocally that the meatball is my favorite sandwich (unless I'm in…read moreChicago, then it may quickly switch to a hot dipped Italian beef). So, when I first discovered the "Chucktown Meatball Co.," I hunted them down with the intention of telling them how disappointed I was, since it is SO rare I have a meatball worth its salt. Often, it has been a miserable experience, especially since I ONLY eat housemade meatballs and not the atomic waste, cylinder shaped frozen craters found at the fast-food shack of your (poor and ill-advised) choice. It took some effort, but I finally find them via Instagram, pull up to their truck parked somewhere in the swamps of West Ashley, and order the Meatball Hero (marinara on toasted Italian roll and topped with Pesto, parmigiana, and stracciatella). The preparation took a little time but trust me - that is a good thing. Before long, we complete the handoff, and I walk back to my car and immediately take a bite. Incredible. Are these the best meatballs I've ever had? No, they are not. That trophy belongs to my departed Italian mother's concoction. However, these are so good, tasty and fresh, I find myself heading back on a weekly basis (if not more). I wanted to try their pasta and other things but couldn't get off the meatball hero. Finally, the owner, in an almost plea to rid me of my demons, suggested the chicken parm hero (chicken cutlet with marinara, mozzarella, provolone, and parmigiana with pesto/stracciatella on a toasted Italian roll), and I obliged. Equally incredible, with a red hot fried fresh chicken cutlet smothered in a molten mess that was glorious to eat. Both sandwiches should be common in the Northeast (with varying degrees of quality) but finding them in Charleston at this culinary level is as rare as driving down a street with no flooding. We're talking about super high-quality food here (shockingly prepared in a truck) at a more than reasonable price. The following week, I went back to my meatball hero, because it's what I crave. I'll eventually get around to trying the pasta, but for now, let me go down swinging with a toasted Italian roll in my veins and a smile on my face. When you find them, walk up and tell them Milo sent you. They'll know.
