Went to pick up a mobile order and was informed that the Doordash guy picked up my order. That would be believable if I didn't see the staff give the guy the order. Really disappointing experience. The drive-through attendant was rude and told me not to complain if the food ended up cold. On top of that, he claimed their tap-to-pay system wasn't working, so I had to drive all the way home to grab my card. When I went inside, I found out the system had been working the entire time. Ordered simple inside as the drive through was back way up. Asked for a simple sausage and egg biscuit combo with large fries and a large drink. Ask for no cheese. It was rung up that way got a small fry and cheese on the biscuit. Not to mention the egg was crunchy. It was so old. I've never had crunchy scrambled eggs. By going inside, I thought it would be quicker, but it actually took 16 minutes to get my food and walk out the door. Got home and just threw it all in the trash. read more

Well then, Bojangles. This drive thru order was on point today at your location. Rarely, and I do mean rarely, will I share anything "fast food" but this brief review is worthy for 2 reasons. 1. This fast food chain is NC based (Charlotte), so I'm still supporting local, in a sense. 2. This pimento cheese chicken sandwich is very, very good. I'm impressed. I ordered ahead for the first time and it was pretty easy and the food was ready when the notification said it would be, even though it was a busy fall Sunday. My order was wrong, technically, but getting bo rounds instead of Cajun fries I would say made the meal better. ... okay. I need to brace myself for the memories of Bojangles. When I went down to North Carolina, my first trip venturing into the American South as an Asian-American born and raised in the mid-Atlantic region, I asked a few friends what I should look forward to. I definitely got a lot of food suggestions, and an OVERWHELMINGLY AGGRESSIVE push for me to eat at Bojangles. My roommate, a Greensboro native, didn't like Bojangles, so I thought, "Well... if she doesn't like it, maybe it's not that good?" I went alone one day and ordered a basic meal - leg, thigh, mashed potatoes, cole slaw (in my ever-sad attempts to get some veggies and "freshness" in these meals), biscuit, sweet tea. (I was strongly urged to get their sweet tea!) Okay, so, fried chicken joint. My boyfriend, who spent some time working in the Raleigh, showed me a video about Bojangles that made me really READY, and I didn't want to be let down. Goodness gracious, I was not. Bojangles is delicious ohmygosh. I have already located the nearest one to me and I will be there as soon as humanly possible. The flavor of the chicken is just... so good. Surpasses every other fried chicken joint by far. I didn't even need ketchup to eat it, and I almost ALWAYS eat chicken with ketchup just because it's one of those things that I feel is supposed to happen. And the sweet tea is REALLY tasty. Way too much sugar, but wow so good, and you can refill it if you eat there. My vegetarian friend was the one who urged me to drink this, and I see why. Apparently, the Bo-berry biscuit is also a force to be reckoned with, but I have yet to try it due to the fact that I always get really weirdly full eating at Bojangles. This location served me my last meal in North Carolina before I left to go back home. Should it have been Carolina BBQ? NO WAY JOSE. Bojangles all the way. read more

We went for breakfast, ordering biscuits and gravy, coffee, blueberry biscuits and a soft drink. A woman, who appeared to be the manager was working register, prep, and bagging our order. There were 5 or 6 employees on the clock and it wasn't busy. It took about 20 minutes to get our food. The restaurant was dirty. There were three dustpans and two brooms in a dining room corner. Outside the door were hundreds of cigarette butts. There was trash in the landscaping. What a mess! read more

Came out tonight to try and order food for my girlfriend and her kids. As soon as I pulled up to the window to order the woman taking my order started giving me attitude with any response during my order. After about the 4th time getting attitude I asked her if it was necessary to be speaking to me with such tone in front of children. She proceeded by cursing me out and said that was the way she talks. I asked her to cancel my order and pulled up to the window to ask for her name. The woman at the window looked scared and said she wasn't allowed to give out that information. The manager told me that she wasn't going to disclose any employees names and closed the window on me. I've never been treated so poorly by someone in the service industry for absolutely no reason. I have worked in the service industry for years so I try to look at rude/ disrespectful people with some compassion since you never know what's going on with their life causing them to feel the way they do, but I felt like I gave her beyond enough respect after multiple comments. read more

I love Bojangles but unfortunately this is the closest one to where I live. If you end up here, understand you are coin flipping your mood for the day. After ordering today, I decided to leave this review considering im on "ugh, the messed up my order again" number 50. To start, i got one packet of sauce which is confusing but not to big of a deal. Then, i got home to realize i have no straw, no spoon, and my drink isn't even in the same zip code of what i asked for. On top of that, im pretty sure they put what i think is a biscuit but looks more like Sydney Crosby's 500th goal from last week in my meal. Legit took 35 minutes for 4 cars in drive thru and they completely messed up our order and their food portions are much smaller. Don't recommend coming here. Terrible service as well, dude that was on the intercom sounded like he had his panties in a wad. read more

Worst customer service i've ever expierenced. The employees and manager were extremely rude and the manager said they burned the biscuits 5x that day. After waiting we'll over 20 minutes for the biscuits to be made, we were denied our biscuit and told we were given extra food. They did not give us extra food or communicate that we weren't waiting for our biscuits bc " we had extra food". We came up extremely calm and we're given attitude. The manager did nothing but hold back an employee who looked as if she was going to come over the counter because we were upset and expressing the truth. They never have sweet potato pies when I order there and last time I went through drive thru, the dude at the window was vaping while he took my card and gave me my food, and there was a guy walking around eating food with his gloves on, which I hope to God he changed before touching someone's food. These reviews aren't noticed by the people who work or run this place, today I waited for almost 20 mins in the drive thru. Now I work in food service so I know these things happen but it is consistently bad at this location. The time and quality are both extremely poor. They need to re-staff or re-train their employees. The food has been cold as well the last couple of times. Just be warned this place is a no go. All the other locations in Wilmington are ok. read more

I believe in second chances but not third. I would rate this place a minus 5 stars. First trip week after Thanksgiving at Monkey Junction drive through we place a $30 order a received half of it. We promptly called back for a refund and was not given one. With some horse manure about a credit. ok that was bad to end up with no chicken and only sides. So went to the college Road location today lo and behold we were given half the order this time as well and the chicken was old and very greasy. So I didn't bother to call why waste my time again. We will now be going to Church's where their spicy chicken is fresh and so are their sides. It is a shame to see what once was a fresh good place to eat turn into a dive and a place to avoid. I went to get my lil bo box and I experienced the emotion of disappointment. I payed the regular amount for my box and the lady the drive through gave a box without a biscuit. I asked why there wasn't one and she said they were OUT. Bojangles biscuits is there staple item. Why would they be out of biscuits if that is what most meals come with? I decided to go to this Bojangles because the one on Carolina Beach rd sucks so badly. Only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the nice lady at the window and they remembered to put my husband's tomato we paid for on his Biscuit. We spent 45 minutes in the drive thru. Food was mediocre at best. My cajun filet Biscuit was overcooked but at least the biscuit didnt fall apart. My fries had hardly any seasonings on them. My husband said his steak egg and cheese Biscuit was good. I guess bojangles everywhere have fallen off. Least the lady was super nice and not rude! read more

Made a pretty simple order and was shorted 3 biscuits and didn't receive any of my drinks.

Not the first time I've ordered at the drive thru and didn't get everything I paid for. The line was long today at 11:30. Not a huge amount of cars at first, but the line just wasn't moving at all. So, then cars started backing up to the road. Placed my order with gentleman at the drive thru. Very thorough on making sure he had what I ordered. Paid, at 1st window no problem. Picked up food, drink and headed home. Got home to find that they didn't put the pimento dipping sauce in my box with the tenders. Now I paid extra for that dipping sauce. Not a lot. But, tenders have to have some kind of dipping sauce. And can't sit there and pull out all the items at the drive thru to make sure it's correct, cars waiting behind you. You know what. Nothing pisses me off more than not getting what you pay for. There were 2 people at the pick up window. Got the drinks another was packaging the food. Do they not look at the order to make sure it's correct. It's not that damn hard. Really people. Make sure we at least get what we pay for. read more
