Lunch was such a disappointment. I did not care for the salsa. The Salsa Verde was extremely sour and had more lime flavor than what I would like. Beans and rice basic. Top shelf signature margarita lacked the Grand Marnier and missed the mark. My server was excellent and the restaurant is nicely decorated. Great experience at Boka Feliz in Downtown Denton. The waitress was very friendly and recommended a special that was not on the menu all the time, the beef rib Gordita. This thing was huge and delicious, she even brought me some special spicy sauce to add to it which kicked it up a notch. Would definitely recommend coming here. read more

As a connoisseur of Mexican Food this was very good. Ordered the Burrito Feliz with carne asada. All of the flavors were great. The small sides and hot sauce served with it were great. The burrito itself was good though a little underwhelming. Guess Id rather have all the sides just mixed in so I could eat it all together rather then assembling it. There were also a bit too many beans and not enough carne. Very good Mexican Food and worth the stop if you're in the vicinity. I dont know if Id drive out of my way again to come here. read more

Out getting a driver's license renewed (and we all know how fun that is), so decided to check this place out. We are always looking for good Mexican food! It's cute, and looks like they have some fun cocktails. But it's lunch, so no drinks for me! Service was fine, nothing super special, I had to ask for some extra salsa (which I loved). But, the star of the show was the Burrito Feliz! I got the beef. It was really good, and I mentioned to my husband multiple times how I want to return. Went to lunch and ordered the lunch special that was $11.99. We were asked if we would like refried or charro beans. Two of us chose charro, with my friend choosing double beans and no rice. When the check came we were charged $16.99 for our lunch special, while the friend who had refried beans was charged $11.99. Come to find out charro beans are an up-charge substitution of $5.00, whether you order rice and beans or beans and beans. They should inform you of this up-charge and not offer it like it's included in the price. The manager did offer remove $2.50 from our bill. We didn't want to argue, so we agreed. Another thing, I ordered chicken enchiladas and was brought cheese enchiladas. I was okay with that and since we were on a time constraint, I ate the cheese ones. All in all, the food is good, and my husband loves the place but I probably won't go back. read more

I absolutely love the food and the restaurant owners/staff of Boka Feliz! When i arrive here, I am consistently greeter with a warm and friendly smile. Service is great and you'll have to spend some time appreciating the mural when you walk in. It makes the restaurant unique because the artists did a phenomenal job. Parking is plenty at this location off Mckinney street. I truly appreciate how uncomplicated the menu is. Everything that I have tried is fantastic. The birria tacos, quesadillas, carne asada tacos (my ultimate fav), chicken tacos, veggie options - all of them are exceptional! I've never been disappointed! Found this place thanks to Google and Yelpers reviews. Had a hankering for fish tacos and this place popped up on a search. LOVED the tacos all flavors, red sauce, green sauce and the chips/salsa. Micheleda and the smoky beef jerky garnish was the bomb!!!!! Good house margaritas and super friendly staff. This place might definitely be a miss unless you are looking! Drove up from N. Driving around and trying to find something to eat for Sunday lunch and happened upon this new to town restaurant! The atmosphere was quiet and just what we needed! Walked in on a Friday at 730 pm. We were quite literally the only table in there and remained the only table until we left. The reviews were all good so we were excited. The queso and salsa were great. They had a special which was beef fajitas. I asked for double rice (no beans) and no salad with it. There was no language barrier, no question about what I ordered, nothing. I got completely opposite what I asked for. I'm never the one to complain but we didn't even get asked if the food was good? Or if the order looked right? I honestly didn't even get enough time to ask about my plate as they dropped the food off and hurried back to the bar to go on their phones. I hate leaving a bad review on a business, even if my experience wasn't good, but there is just no exception for this. I was wondering why the place was quite literally empty, and I got my answer to the question pretty quickly. Never again. read more

They have updated their menu recently. The burrito feliz and the quesadillas have always been favorites. Today I tried the enchiladas and they were also fantastic. The best thing about this place, though is the friendly staff and owners. They just make your experience comfortable. They are extremely attentive and thoughtful! We chose this restaurant to serve a large gathering of friends to celebrate a homecoming. The setting is so happy, that everyone felt comfortable and relaxed, feeling free to roam between tables before lunch was served. The staff managed the luncheon for 70+ spectacularly.
