I went there around 9am on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. Upon walking in you are greeted with the nicest people. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and efficient. They do a wonderful job running the eatery and keeping it very clean. The interior is the cutest thing. Very unique with such a fun vibe about it, it would be a great place to study. I absolutely love the telephone booth and floral accents throughout the inside. It is like nothing else in Midtown! Ordering is very simple and they will serve you your food once it is ready. I ended up ordering the veggie egg bites and the eggocado toast. The food came out within 10 minutes of me ordering and it was very fresh. You can tell they use higher quality, fresh ingredients. As the avocado toast definitely used real avocado and not a prepackaged spread. The protons are great and I thought the price was very reasonable for what I was served. The eggocado toast included 2 slices of a seeded toast, topped with avocado, lemon, red pepper flakes, everything bagel seasoning, a hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and hot sauce. I really enjoyed this dish, as it was nice and balanced. The eggs were boiled perfectly, the avocado and tomatoes were fresh, and the hot sauce, seasonings, and arugula complimented the dish very well. It was quite filling too. Would highly recommend ordering this, it hit the spot! The veggie egg bites were also a hit. As someone who really enjoys the Starbucks red pepper egg white bites, I was very excited to try these. They certainly didn't disappoint and were better than the Starbucks ones! They were egg white frittata bites with cheese, peppers, onions, and chives. The bites were also a good portion. They were fluffy with great flavor and balance. Really great and I would also order these again. Overall, I had a lovely meal here and would most definitely return! The service is great and the prices are very reasonable. I thought the portions were just right and the flavors were on point. The eggocado toast was super yummy and the perfect way to start my day. The place is a full-service restaurant, but they also have a counter where you can order muffins and other baked goods to go. Honestly, the muffins are the main reason I come here. Our server suggested ordering one and having it grilled, which I had never tried before and it was so good. They slice it in half and cook it on the griddle so the outside gets caramelized and slightly crispy while the inside stays soft. It completely elevates the muffin and makes it feel more like a dessert than breakfast. Overall it's a great casual breakfast spot, and if you go, definitely get a muffin and have them grill it.

I came to this restaurant at different times with different guests, and although the original Sensei Asian Bistro I've known and loved is gone, they've definitely changed -- for the better this time! The quality of the food you eat definitely matches the price. The staff is well trained, and sweet. The ambiance is chill, I like the wingback chairs and the background music. The entire restaurant feels like it's improved drastically -- from the food, to the vibes, and the service. - I ate the lobster wontons, this was really good. - The tonkotsu ramen they have is seasonal from their summer menu but it is fairly priced -- probably cheaper than a lot of ramen places in Gainesville. However, you can definitely taste the quality. The noodles were chewy and bouncy, the broth was nice and thick. - I had the NY Strip too, that was good as well, very soft. I liked how it wasn't overcooked. - The nigiri set, has wasabi already put in between the fish and the rice, but you can definitely ask for more wasabi (or no wasabi). - I also ate the lamb chops -- the taste was delicate compared to a lot of places that serve lamb chops. I think I prefer their style because it did not feel as heavy in the stomach. - I also got the Grand Cru NY Strip. It is definitely worth $150. I literally choked on the fatty juices that came out of one piece. The Grand Cru is no joke. The flavor literally bursts in your mouth. It's very filling because it's so fatty. - For dessert I got the Kakigori. Personally, I like the shaved ice part -- I didn't like the crème brûlée part. It was too sweet. I know they sometimes have a tasting menu so I'm definitely waiting for that to come back!

Because of this, we tried to order as fast as we possibly could, but our waitress was incredibly kind, patient, and told us to take our time. It was again, very interesting with the vibe change. Regardless, we ordered quickly, and our food came out within 5 minutes, and was great. I got the club sandwich, and enjoyed every bite of it. The fries felt fresh and were extremely crisp, and everyone else in my party enjoyed their food too. Our waitress was sweet, attentive, and our food was delicious.
