We arrived to watch Titanic, which was more about the history of what happened to the actual ship ie.) the internal reasons and a parody of what happened throughout. Not too many props, but the costumes were accurate! Good use of space as well! ie.) Different rooms or inside/outdoor lighting. Downfalls were that I couldn't hear half of what some of the actors/actresses were saying/singing, the stage is super close, and the interior is outdated (seats & stage). I would recommend renting a costume here, because that was the only decent and intricate item. I do like to support local places & community outings, but I suggest an upgraded location/space. Overall, everyone did a wonderful job and keep growing as wonderful individuals! Flyers were handed out, the show started promptly, and there was an intermission! 2 items for $5, in which we got coffee & popcorn. I have even told other disabled actors and they are jealous of this completely accessible space. I feel like a lot of people go to improv schools as a springboard and people need to stop looking for that in their careers and get on a surfboard and enjoy the ride, Richard is an incredible teacher will help you handle the waves and make sure you enjoy the ride but you will come back as a better surfer or whatever it is you want to get out of your experience at playful stage. I often hear stories of former famous improv people or mentors who say I had to do work study, I had to get scholarships, or do payment plans. I have been offered some things that put a dent in other places but I have had to make hard choices of not going to a school or program because of money. Richard is the first school/person to say I don't want you to miss out because of that and I understand lets do a payment plan. He is also very kind about missed classes, how you are feeling that day, or even what is going on in your life I think with other places this can add pressure and they don't care about these things to have someone who just really understand hey you love this but life is hard sometimes is incredible. Its an fun learning growing community building space and I am so grateful for Richard and this community for all it has given me.

I sat in the Queen Elizabeth section and loved being so close to the action. The production was funny, lively, and incredibly engaging. After thoroughly enjoying last year's production of Much Ado About Nothing, I knew I wanted to return and so glad I did! This isn't the Shakespeare some people might expect. There was laughter, dancing, singing, plenty of clever satire, a mix of Shakespearean and modern English, and Spanish. The entire cast was fantastic! I especially enjoyed "Frank" and "Cayo", although everyone did an amazing job! Sitting so close to the actors really pulls you into the performance and allows you to feel every emotion. It was such a fun and entertaining evening, and looking forward to next year! Be sure to put it on your reminder list for next season. This year's production ends at the end of the month, and unfortunately, the remaining performances are sold out!

Do not go with this company. They are liars and thrives and completely lack communication skills…read more I understand everyone suffered during the shut down but I expected better from them. First they kept saying the show will go on and not to worry, complete lie. The show is not going on. They kept saying emails will be sent out early August. Here we are mid August with no contact. Several emails was sent to them to find out what going on with no response. I ask for a refund earlier in the year and they said they would like me to consider giving the money as donations. I said no and that I prefer a refund. Their response was I'm sorry we're not providing refunds. If they understand what the term donations means, it means it's something voluntary not forced. On top of that I bought 10 tickets to the show because we had to otherwise they charge a hefty amount and a penalty. Also no refund is given. I ask if the tickets will still be used for the show. They said no! You'll have to buy more tickets. Like stealing $500+ wasn't enough for them. Then to find out there's no show and they have a new show going on with a new cast. Don't waste your time or money because if another shut down occurs, you'll never see your money again. They are horrible people and thrives. Will never recommend them to anyone!
