This is a cat lovers dream!! You can come pay a minimal fee to hang out and play with tons of cats and kittens. Better yet, find one you connect with and can't live without and adopt them. They are microchipped, vaccinated and fixed, ready to go. They also reward volunteers with free cat time throughout the week (minimum 2 hours a week to volunteer). You can follow them on social media and their website for purrrfectly fun events like cat yoga, cat bingo and movie nights. Absolutely come support them and I guarantee you will be blessed by all the fun from these fur babies. read more

First time here with my daughter. Located in a shopping parking lot with plenty of parking. Smart security process to enter. Fairly large cat lounge with endless variety of cats of various ages. One of the bigger lounges I've been to. There are many separate rooms to accommodate the various needs of the cats. This lounge is very clean! It doesn't smell like others i've been to. There are more than enough toys, beds, blankets etc. they even have snacks and drinks available for those that like to hang out all day long. I could see why people buy memberships to come regularly. If I lived closer, I certainly would get a membership and come every day to get my pet on. read more

This was the first cat hang out type of place I've ever been to, never been to a cat café or anything before this, so I honestly assumed that all cat café type places would have as many cats as Catnap. I didn't realize that this was not common, especially with how well every cat gets along with each other. All the volunteers know most of the cats which I find really sweet. Everyone is incredibly kind, I adopted my first cat from here and had no issues whatsoever with getting any questions I had answered. It was my first time only a cat, and I did a lot of my own research online, but for any specific questions I had they were huge help. This cat is now the light of my life. When I initially went to Catnap, I was only trying to hang out with the kitties because I love them so much. I saw Chai(previously Kara) curled up asleep in the corner, and fell in love the moment I saw her. She's a very shy personality, but let me pet her which really charmed me. I told myself that I would wait a week before deciding to adopt her, but within that week I bought a cat tree, cat carrier, tons of wet food, cat toys, and even set up a chewy account... lol. We hosted our daughter's 10th birthday party at Cat Nap. I'm so glad we did! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and everyone enjoyed their time. I spoke with our hosts over the phone before the party. They answered all of my questions, offered to configure the lobby for our needs, and assured me that there would be several volunteers assisting on the night of the party. We loved hosting such a unique party. All our daughter's friends were mesmerized by the cats. With so many cats in multiple rooms (kitten room, main room, quiet room), each of the girls and adults found their "spot" and had a great time. There was more than enough space for the 23 guests we had The cats were so sweet and fun. With dozens of cats in the same room, you might think that the cats would be fighting or disruptive, but it was just the right mix of calm and playfulness. We brought in pizza and cupcakes, which we set up in the lobby. Cat Nap graciously provided tablecloths and some paper goods. The lobby is small and doesn't have the space for seating, but the girls didn't mind standing or sitting on the floor while they ate. They were eager to get back to the cats, so we didn't spend much time with the food. The volunteers absolutely blew us away with their hospitality. They offered to help us set up and haul trash, and they provided a first aid kit to a couple of our guests who got scratched by the kitties. They answered questions from our curious guests, and they kept the space very clean through the whole evening. Overall, we are so happy to have hosted a party at Cat Nap! Several of our guests are now asking their parents to have their birthday parties there, too! read more

My girlfriend and I went to the Catnap Kitty Bingo Bash in January 2026. It was only $20 each (the center is non-profit) and we had so much fun! There were dozens of cats just roaming around and playing with us while we played bingo and snacked. The facility is large and clean. There's multiple rooms for different moods and cat ages. The staff were very friendly. I was so impressed they could name every cat there. I would highly recommend visiting. read more

The process was very quick and easy, and they even took extra care to ensure that she had all her medications and that she was in a healthy enough state to travel, since she was a kitten with a little respiratory issue at the time! The staff at hangout were all friendly and helpful, the cats were so sweet, but if you are planning to adopt, they will only approve if you plan to have the cat indoor only. This was not explained during our visit. I understand it's their prerogative to be choosy, but I've had indoor cats my entire life who would go outside for a bit each day and all happily lived to old age. We have all the resources and want to share our love with a furry forever pet, and this seemed very misleading and an arbitrary measure when there are so many kitties waiting to be adopted. I thought the hangout would be perfect for my family because we could really get to know the cats and bond. TL;DR: Cat was supposed to be spayed and never actually was spayed, contacted rescue and they refunded me the amount for the adoption and handled situation quickly and very well. Recommend them to cat adopters!! I adopted a spayed cat from here in 2021 who started going into heat a little bit after I got her. I took her to my regular vet who told me she may have ovarian remnant syndrome and gave me a quote for a surgery I couldn't afford so I ended up dealing with it until finally this year my cat had the surgery. When my vet went in to perform the surgery, she told me that my cat had two ovaries and her uterus meaning she was never actually spayed. I was pretty frustrated hearing this as my cat had been peeing on some things when she went in to heat but the vet who was supposed to do the original spay was at fault and not the rescue. I emailed the rescue with proof wanting to let them know the issue with the original spay and see if there was any chance they could refund the adoption cost since she wasn't spayed though I wasn't hopeful since it had been 4 years. Jayne emailed me back very quickly and was apologetic and offered to refund me for the issue with the spay. I adopted another cat from there in 2023 with no issues and now both cats are spayed, healthy, and happy. I'm very appreciative to Jayne for how she handled the situation and I will continue to recommend Cat Nap to those I know who want to adopt cats. read more

All the cats are super sweet and mostly cuddly. I would sit down and I'd have to gather around me and sit on my lap! They have a separate room for smaller the kittens. This is one of my favorite places A previous, ignorant reviewer recently (4 days ago to be exact) gave a horrible review so I wanted to set the record straight since I can't reply directly to her review. Yes there are cats - it's a rescue duh! I'm sure the previous reviewer has no experience in rescue either volunteering or in any other capacity. There are countless heartbreaking stories of cats abandoned, injured and/or abused and rescues like CatNap try their best to help these poor babies. Most rescues and shelters are at capacity and can't take anymore but they all do their best for as many as possible. As for the smell, yes there are cats. Again duh. I know from visiting and talking with volunteers that there is non stop cleaning of the facility and the ventilation system. As for getting a better ventilation system YOUR donation is gladly accepted to make that happen any time since rent, vet bills and food take up the already astronomical budget. The cats are well cared for and monitored closely. In an unrestricted environment like the lounge, where cats are not in cages, there are some things that are easily spread and they are immediately treated. The alternative would be turning away more cats and putting them in cages. It's unfortunate that your ignorance of rescue led you to write your review. Just remember that if it weren't for rescues like CatNap thousands of cats would be euthanized or worse yet left to die in the streets. I hope you're proud of yourself. read more

Cat Nap Hangout is amazing. I went in one Sunday afternoon (3 weeks ago) to hangout with the cats. All the cats were friendly and sweet. The entire place was clean and smelled nice. Two nice girls were there who let us in, Maddy and Lilly. There's a large room for all the grown cats and a separate room for the kittens. I ended up falling in love with all of them but I ended up taking one home. I just love her to pieces. read more

The entry fee is $10-20 depending on the age of the person which was not a bad fee considering it goes towards the cats' needs and medicine as well as the fees to keep the place open. I think the quality of life for the cats has improved considerably considering most come from kill shelters. I loved the experience and hopefully I am able to volunteer in the future. My Son and his girlfriend surprised me and took me here for my Birthday. It was wonderful, the staff were so nice and attentive to the cats. I absolutely love this place! I have gone 5+ times and loved the experience every single time. Other cat cafes don't compare at all, 20 dollars for unlimited time with 70+ friendly cats versus other cafes that are 20$ for 45 minutes with only having 10 scared cats to play with. The volunteers are always SO nice and for having so many cats it is so clean and they all seem very well taken care of. Looking at other peoples negative reviews shocked me so much because it was the farthest thing from the truth, there are some cats with some eye boogers or small issues, but they are here to help these cats!!! they take them off the streets and nurse them back to health, they aren't always gonna be 100% right away, they need time and love! My cousin has been wanting to adopt a cat. We went to different adoption event/location and was not able to get her a cat. Looked on yelp and found Cat Nap. We went there, paid the $20 fee for entrance. Walked in and saw cats and kitties galore. Overload of cuteness. They had wands to play with the cats which was nice and I think they had brushes too. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and patiently answered all our questions. After finding the kitty she fell in love with and filling out the application, phone interview, filling out the questionnaire on the tablet and paying the fee plus with guidance from the staff....she left with her baby. It was nice to hear that after adopting the kitty and if there were any issues to contact them for any inquire. This place has definitely been my favorite spot for hanging out and playing with cats. 20$ feels a little steep but theres no time limit and you're allowed access into both the adult and kitten room at that cost. No food or beverages are served within the building, they do allow you to bring in whatever and theres a starbucks next door but honestly, just go in empty handed and get food afterwards. Great Bathroom. The only reason I'm giving it a lower review is because of the well being of the cats. They clearly have too many cats at this property for their staff to keep up with. Many cats are sick, pee stained, or covered in crusties. We watched a cat have explosive diarrhea infront of us. Obviously cats are known for randomly throwing up at times, but this was a bit excessive. When I went they had this one cat who had lost a massive chunk of their coat due to allergies, and they just called the cat Baldie and said theres nothing they could really do about it. As much as it was great to be in a room full of so many adoptable cats, after an hour I was throughly grossed out and ready to go home. It was definitely a fun experience, I think you should still go if you really love cats. read more

Super cool place to hangout with cats. Didn't know what I was stepping into when I came here for the first time, because I've always hated cats, but Instagram was right with all the cute and funny cat clips. As soon as I sat down, a handful of cats approached me and tried to climb me or sit on my lap, and they were all super friendly. I'd only ever met demon cats that look like they want to fight you, til I visited Catnap, so I was pretty surprised. The volunteers here were also super helpful regarding any questions about cats, since I'd thought all cats were psycho, but guess they're all really well socially adapted here. Disappointed on first visit. At first they tried to charge $20 per person for one adult, one 12 year old, and one 10 year old. When I asked if the children counted as kids they said only the 10 year old would. For the three of us it would have been $50 and that fee only covers the entrance into a small room with cats and a lot of people crammed together. The sign-in area smelled like cat diarrhea so I can't imagine what it would smell like it the back. The staff were nice but the price is not justified. read more

I'm incredibly frustrated and disappointed with how this shelter handled our adoption process. Despite doing everything right and proving we could offer a safe, loving home, we were denied solely because we have a balcony. We explained the cat would never be allowed on it, sent clear photos, and offered safety solutions: using a harness and leash, putting up a protective barrier, and keeping the door shut. We even offered to sign an agreement. None of it mattered. They refused to consider that we could be responsible pet owners or that we had valid, reasonable solutions to their concerns. When we asked how to move forward, they kept changing their reasoning. First it was the balcony, then the lack of a screen door, and then hypotheticals about leaving it open in summer. We addressed every concern, but they wouldn't reconsider. Speaking with Marianne, who communicates with the adoption committee, was less than pleasant. She cut me off, sounded dismissive and condescending, and made me feel completely unheard. She claimed "the committee" decides, but she was the only person communicating with us. I truly question whether our solutions were fully conveyed or considered at all. What makes it worse is what I've seen at the shelter. On both visits, once recently and once eight months ago, many cats looked sick. There were what looked to be eye infections, sneezing, and dirty coats. It was heartbreaking and raised concerns about their infection control and cleaning practices. I know volunteers clean, but without proper training, that doesn't mean it's done correctly. Other reviews mention this too. They are turning away responsible adopters while keeping cats in overcrowded, free-roaming conditions where illness can easily spread. Sick animals should be quarantined and treated separately, not allowed to mix with healthy ones. Eight months later, I saw the same problems I noticed during my first visit. That does not show animals are being put first. It shows rigid policies are being prioritized over their wellbeing. We wanted to rescue cats we bonded with, but apparently, a locked balcony door in an otherwise safe home is too risky for them. I can no longer support this shelter after seeing how they treat adopters and reading their dismissive replies to similar concerns. Their handling of our application was insulting, and the condition of the animals was upsetting. Denying cats a home over a hypothetical situation while they sit sick & exposed in overcrowded rooms is heartless and unreasonable. These animals and the people trying to help them deserve better. Editing to add after posting this review, I received a nasty text from Marianne stating I am lying, and trying to shame me for my review. Anyone who visits the center can see for themselves the conditions of many of the animals. There's several reviews stating similar and even worse experiences than mine. There are a lot of cats who appear to be sick, with goopy eyes, dripping mouths & sneezing who are within the general population of all the other healthy looking cats. It's cruel & evil to covet your ego & your reputation over the livelihood of innocent animals. Not to mention, insanely immature to text someone after they leave a review of their honest experience & opinions with your services. We were not 'changing our story' - we were simply willing to work with you and do what it took to ensure the cat's safety and you denied us for that, which shows you are inflexible and unwilling to even try being reasonable. We had no problem accommodating any request yet you offered no advice or resolve. We stated this was our first time going through an adoption process so clearly we lack experience in how to handle these conversations - unlike you, who never stated your expectations regarding the balcony situation, just kept coming up with hypothetical scenarios we were definitely happy to find solutions for. We are fine accommodating the expectation that the cats stay off the balcony all together, i was just trying to be realistic in my approach in the instance that they were to go on the balcony at all. Its better to have a plan than none at all. Clearly we showed conviction in finding a valid solution and thought thoroughly about what we would do in the case of all your 'what ifs' - but that was not good enough for you. Fine, let those poor cats stay in a shelter for something like this. Thats your choice. I don't have to agree with it or how you run your business. read more
