We came here three separate times during our stay and they always had what we needed....Toothbrush, razors, cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks and they were just a 5 minute walk from the rental. **Side note in case anyone is searching reviews looking for a bathroom** I was outside one afternoon with our dog waiting on the bench in front for my husband to grab me a drink and a car full of young ladies pulled up doing the potty dance and rushed in. There are signs that say "no public restroom" and I guess staff adhered strictly to it because they came out panicked and still squirming. I told them I wasn't from the area but there is a park across the street and although it's a little hidden, there is a porty potty on the East side. They thanked me and ran off and later thanked me again when I saw them in town. If we stay in Stinson again, I won't worry about overpacking because this market has what you need....except a bathroom!

The soft serve does get prepared quicker and they call your name only once or twice before setting it down on a cone holder on the counter so stay nearby to make sure you can hear your name get called! Same goes for the sandwiches, one of our sandwiches was done for a while but we never heard our name and had to go up and ask. The soft serve is made with jersey cow milk now - I never got the chance to try it when it was still buffalo milk but the soft serve was rich and creamy and the perfect cold treat after a hike at point reyes. We took our sandwiches to go and enjoyed them outside - I got the Foggy Garden which is a veggie sandwich with pesto and a basil and garlic soft cheese; it was tasty and large but I do wish there was a bit more roasted veggie. It was still quite filling because of how much soft fluffy focaccia there was but as a veggie sandwich it' would be nice if it was a little more substantial. Overall, a nice quick stop to grab some tasty bites on your way to or from Point Reyes! I'd definitely grab the soft serve again.

I will note that there is no parking lot, and there is basically some street parking. If you a see a spot, take it! After I reminded her again that I had called in, she suddenly "found" it and told me to come back in 2 hours and that I would receive a text message when it was ready. I never received the text message they promised. I returned on Friday, and once again they couldn't locate my prescription. After more searching, they finally found it -- but they also tried to give me someone else's order at the same time. I had to explain that I only had one prescription and asked them to verify it using my phone number, not just my last name. The entire experience was very unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. On top of that, the drive-thru wait was over 20 minutes. For something as important as prescriptions, accuracy and communication should be a priority. This pharmacy seriously needs to improve its customer service and organization.

Most recently I found some primo Hanger Steaks, which I rarely see at my local markets. I love that cut and they had some nice big ones, already trimmed and butterflied. It is in my top 3 for cuts of steaks, so I had some really nice meals for my trip. Also been able to find simple things from their produce section, cheese section and beer section. Like how the place isn't bombarded by national junk food brands like Lay's/Coke/Budweiser, where places like Safeway will have displays up front and center. Mill Valley Market has been operating since 1929 and they are still family run . This is their 4th generation! We came to get their sandwiches and boy did they deliver. Ordered 2 vegetarian, chicken chipotle, Thanksgiving turkey and got jerk chicken from the hot foods buffet! They are way better than Whole Foods fyi! Great quality and freshest taste !
