Nice grocery store. Independent. Didn't see a big chain except for Safeway on the highway near Mill Valley. Wine and hot food. Different experience. Found magazines and snacks.

Portobello burger

This place was unbelievably amazing! The people that live nearby have no idea how lucky they are to have this place. The tofu burritos were amazing! The portobello burger was amazing! The garden patch juice was great! The vegan pastries were delicious! Every employee we encountered was working very hard and were very kind. The produce was so fresh and tasted so good!

Terrible service. Over 30 minutes to get a sandwich. Obviously also high prices. Just bad enough that it's never worth going here

The deli section looked so good that we ordered a couple sandwiches and ate them at the outside tables.

What a treat…read more.. Hadn't been to the location since it was Guaymas - what a transition. Same beautiful views, upscale interior that goes with the casual like atmosphere. Outside seating was relaxing and the views complimented the evening. Nice to see staff members with smiles on their faces, don't always see that at a restaurant! Fharid was the server, ever attentive, but just enough! What's important...the food! Romaine Caesar Salad - just enough of the flavorful dressing to compliment the salad. Roasted Half Chicken - tender and absolutely delicious. Portions were very filling. A wonderful homemade peach mint chutney enhanced the flavor option if you so wished. I love chutney, wished I could buy a bottle to take home! Dark Chocolate Cake - words can't describe how good it was! Dark chocolate cake, sour cherries, fresh whipped cream - a piece of chocolate art. Hated to destroy the dessert, but I did! It was decided I should meet the baker. She came out and I thanked her again for the beautiful and flavorful surprise. The Bungalow Kitchen: Great evening, wonderful food, atmosphere is superb, lucky to live nearby.

The Manager Peter really appears to be on point. My dry aged bone in New York strip had real dry aged flavor. It was a little under seasoned and with no salt and pepper on the table I just ate it. My GF really enjoyed her filet. The one thing we both said was that both of our mains and both of our sides were served on the cool side. They were at the temperature that most meals are at when we are at the end. The corn side was served on the cob; ridiculous. JUST DON'T! The menu is small. All of the employees were instructed to tell EVERYONE that they just added 12 new items to the menu. Which means that they threw out Michael Mina's menu and replaced it with their own. Was this a nice night out? Yes Was this a great meal? No Is this a destination restaurant? No If I was in the neighborhood would I go there again? Yes definitely. Valet parking is $15. Can you find nearby parking and walk? Sure. Corkage fee $45.

The menu offers a great selection of fresh, healthy options. We especially loved the oysters, vegan chopped salad, and strawberry salad--all were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The ahi poke cones were another standout and are absolutely worth ordering. The cocktail menu is equally impressive. The Let It Snow was our favorite--tropical, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. What really completed the experience was the friendly service. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and the bartenders were fantastic. Whether you're stopping in for drinks, appetizers, or a full meal, this is a wonderful waterfront destination that we look forward to visiting again.

Came here with medium expectations. Totally disappointed…read more It's honesty, Denny's quality. The ingredients are trash and cheap. The steak was all fat and tough, the potatoes under cooked with weird sauce that wasn't even quality. The avocado pizza was awful. The poke wasn't good. I didn't even know it was possible to mess up oysters. The only things they got right was the wine. I can't even elaborate on it the food was so bad. It's a cute place. The staff were nice(except the buss boy who tried to take my glass of wine before it was finished). If I'm gonna go to a decent restaurant I expect the food to be at least decent. Also, the benches at the tables are hard as hell. But inside they have fuzzy little carpet outside you're just screwed. They need to get something more comfortable.. But first and foremost, they need to fix their issue with their food. Like I said, not only did it taste terrible honestly, the mini selection was kind of garbage too.

There are two grocery stores on the NW & SW corners of this stoplight. DELANO'S IGA is the cheaper one. It has less upscale merchandise, but more staple items. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF. I go here to save time when I really need stuff quickly and don't want to drive all the way out to 101 and shop at the BIG SAFEWAY store. Sometimes it has been a lifesaver. Milk, eggs, butter, bread. It is still more expensive that most places in the continental USA, but cheap for Tiburon. I just keep telling myself . . . suck it up . . . . you chose this place to live . . .accept the downside . . . less money in the bank account . . . tradeoff for fantastic views and living in paradise. The location is awsome, right on the water in Tiburon, and the vibe is cozy without feeling cramped. Seating is a little tight, but honestly it kinda adds to the charm. There's one huge unisex bathroom tucked right behind the bar, which was surprisingly clean and easy to find. The back patio is probly the highlight. On a clear day you get amazing views of Angel Island and SF, hard to beat while having lunch or a drink. Food was solid. Kitchen does a decent job, although they seem to miss order details every now and then. I ordered a medium rare burger and it came out well done. Before I even had a chance to make a big deal about it, our server noticed and brought a replacement burger out pretty quick. That was super thoughtful and showed they actually care about the customer experiance. Not perfect, but good food, great views, and staff that are willing to make things right. I'd definitly come back.

We were in the area hoping to get some fresh coastal air and looking for something simple and non-complicated to eat like a sandwich. This was exactly what I needed. This old school deli has an entire wall of refrigerators with every type of drink that fits your needs -water, juices, soda, beer, wine, and everything in between. There are plenty of sandwich options and plenty of refrigerated side dishes available to go with them. The owners were lovely (and patient). My daughter ordered a reuben on dark rye. I ordered pastrami on sliced sourdough. We each took half of the other's and shared a bag of air baked Kettle chips. We initially thought we would take our sandwiches to go and find a spot to eat them on a bench along the water side. However, there were several tables in the back, both indoor and outdoor in the garden. It was a perfect sunny, mild day and it was not terribly busy during this time, so we chose to enjoy our sandwiches there on a table next to open French doors. Five stars for food, service, and location. I'm always happy to support a small, local
