This beach is beautiful. It's my favorite one thus far in the Bay Area. And I really like the hikes around it.

Great little store. Nice folks who run it. Always can find what you need. A little pricier than over the hill but that's understandable.

The service is…read moreabsolutely impeccable every single time and in the dozens of meals that I have had there, there was only one time that my meal and I weren't really feeling one another. Their Caesar salad is pretty much what I compare every other Caesar salad to and you can never go wrong with their hamburger. I love their fish and chips and look forward to their specials that are often styled with local produce around what local fishermen have just caught. And the Kiosk!!!! Great coffee and delicious food there too! Honestly, the coast is one of the best things about living in Bolinas. As for the ambience of the place, it's super cozy and there's a small wood-burning stove that keeps it warm.

While we were in line, the woman in front of us couldn't stop raving about the bran muffins. The woman taking orders went to check on them and came back all apologetic and let us know they weren't going to have any today. The customer was disappointed but happily pivoted to another pastry. I'm pretty sure she had us all wanting a bran muffin by then. My daughter got a latte and I had a cortado. The gal taking our order was a wealth of little coffee facts and explained that cortado means "cut," referring to the espresso being cut with milk, traditionally about half espresso and half milk. We both really enjoyed our coffees. My daughter also got a sticky bun and a salsa verde burrito. She said the sticky bun was outstanding. The burrito was a different story. She saw "salsa verde burrito" on the label and tucked it into her pocket for later. We took the dogs for a walk on Bolinas Beach in the beautiful cloudy, cool weather, then headed home. When she finally opened the burrito, she discovered what she thought might be chorizo and cheese inside. That wasn't what she was expecting or wanted, and she ultimately ate only the rice and beans on the side and threw the rest away. Such a disappointment. We'd definitely come back for the coffee and would love to try one of those bran muffins when they're available. As for the burrito, next time we'll be double-checking exactly what's inside before walking away with it!

They work hard back there to ensure that no one waits for too long. They have excellent lattes and a solid host of seasonal drinks as well. They also have prepared foods such as overnight oats, which are really good. It's quite crowded in the shop itself with both people waiting for their drinks and people enjoy enjoying their drinks, so I opted to take mine to go and walk around town.

Locals with their dogs walk here, and mingle with the out-of-towners, hikers, and bicyclists who all enjoy a quality cup of coffee or other drink, paired with fancy pastries or select lunch items. Their seasonal drink menu is always worth a try; turmeric or matcha or cacao are always a good match with the Equator-roasted beans, purchased and shipped direct from sustainable and family farms. There is select seating inside, additional benches outside, and an abundance of seating across the street at the Depot, where summer music festivals and farmers market booths are known to occasion. Arrive for the delicious coffee, stay for the chill vibes. ‍
