We had lunch there today and it was excellent. I had the curry chicken lunch plate and my wife had the shrimp vindaloo lunch plate and we both ordered a spice level of 4 out of 5 which was perfect for us as we like spicy food. The food was great and plentiful and we had leftovers. Service was excellent and it is a beautiful restaurant. The cost was inexpensive for Healdsburg. We highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We ate here for the third time since it opened, and each time the food has been consistently great. The first time our only complaint was due to the business being new, and the service was slow. Not any more! Our server was prompt, polite, and the food came quickly. There were four of us, and we ordered three dishes, plus garlic naan, off of the main menu. We had the chicken tiki masala, chicken vindaloo, and the palak paneer, along with brown rice. Delicious! There was enough food that we took home some leftovers. We will be back soon! read more

I have been a fan of Indian cuisine my entire life. I have thoroughly enjoyed every Indian food meal I have ever eaten. Except for Bollywood. I was excited to have an Indian food restaurant in our area however my experience there has been totally disapointing. What a colossal waste of time and money. The appetizer sampler had lamb, artichoke pakoras, and samosas, all of which tasted the same and were hardly warm. The soup was tepid and bland. Everything had been prepared earlier and none of our food was prepared to order. Sad. read more

The food here is amazing and the service top-shelf! We got the mixed tandoori plate so we could sample everything that came with it: the chicken was moist and delicious, the shrimp was spiced perfectly and the lamb flavorful and juicy. We also got the chicken korma to balance the meal with a saucy dish. Again, the chicken was deliciously moist thigh meat, and I kept using the sauce to dip my naan in. Speaking of which, the naan was fresh and chewy. The kids got mango lassies of course and garlic cheese naan- they were happy campers. The waiters and owner (I presume) were so hospitable, friendly and attentive. They even brought us free pistachio desserts and comped my chai! I can't express enough how happy I am that there is such a gem of an Indian restaurant in Sonoma County with such delicious food and amazing service. We shall be coming back soon! read more

We discovered Bollywood in early February and loved it so much we've been back every week since! Owner Tek is gracious and welcoming. The food is terrific - they have an extensive menu and we enjoyed everything we tried (though we quickly developed favorites!) Good prices and wine selection. Casual, pleasant atmosphere, though not a place to go if you are in a rush. Fantastic for carry out - makes for amazing left-overs. Truly a new gem in Healdsburg. Can not recommend highly enough! We love Bollywood Kitchen! We live in HB and have been here 1/2 dozen times for eat in and take out. Yes, per other reviews, they started slow with not enough staff, which has since increased and everything is running smoothly. Everyone is very nice. The food has been excellent from the first visit. Prices are reasonable and the menu is incredibly varied (you can eat light, comfort or vegan). Lots of choices for everyone! Wines by the glass are a great pour at a moderate price. We love the various tandoori, pappadum, butter chicken, lentil dishes, eggplant bharta. It's great to have a delicious, reasonably priced new restaurant in town! read more

Would give it 5 but the service is sloooooow. So if you want to have the best Indian food and have hours to spare please go. If your impatient and don't like to wait then don't bother. But the food really is worth it. read more

As Healdsburg locals we decided to try Bollywood Kitchen for lunch today. Our first visit & we're not familiar with Indian cuisine. The location is convenient, clean, open feeling with minimal but pleasing decoration. Ordering was difficult since we weren't sure if the dishes we ordered were individual meals or meant to be shared. We had a very hard time understanding the server as we don't hear as well as we once did & he had quite a strong accent. For all our dishes we chose mild to medium heat. We had Chicken Molo to start, tasty dumplings but best with the sauce that came with it. Husband ordered Lamb Sheesh Kabob (he thought it was flavorful but meat was dry), I had the shrimp noodles - quite good with the right amount of spices & lots of shrimp. We thought we had ordered cheese naan also, but it never arrived so we asked for it again. By that time we were close to finishing but split a piece & it was hot, soft & delicious. Brought home a lot of leftovers, we'll see if it's as good the second day. Will return to try other offerings. read more
