She only took about 4 minutes which I thought was really fast. They seemed okay when I looked on the mirror but when I got home and took a closer look she missed tons of hair! I had to tweeze out like 60 hairs. What was the point of my visit if she just broke my hair's and I had to tweeze them out. Not satisfied at all. Am not typically picky with my eyebrows, lip and sideburns threading. My eyebrows have a decent natural shape I usually just need the threading to clean up the stray hairs every 3-4 weeks. I went into this salon and was helped by a lady who asked initially what I wanted. I told her I did NOT want my eyebrows to be thin and that I just wanted a clean up along w the lip and sideburns. She did my eyebrows in about 2 minutes. Used scissors I assume to even out the hair and moved on to my sideburns. I believe she spent less than 30 seconds on each sideburn moving quickly and erratically such that she wasn't going in any normal motion or area. I wondered how she could possibly be capturing all the hair if she was moving from the top of my face to my chin and back to the top. Normally ladies thread in one area before moving to the next (in fact all ladies I've had thread me have done this for the last 17 years!). So she stops after less than a minute total on the rest of my face and tells me I should draw in my eyebrows because they are patchy. Funny since I've never been told this and never had to draw in my eyebrows. I'm Indian my eyebrows are not patchy but she had clearly taken off a line of eyebrow hair on my right eyebrow leaving a massive gap. I was appalled. She just smirked and I guess must have either realized her mistake and wanted me out of there and didn't care to take pride in the rest of her work or what not because I looked at my sideburns and there was still patches of hair in random places. I asked her kindly to fix it. She did for about 10-15 seconds and asked me to pay. I left and went to my car where I used the car mirror to notice that 1. My eyebrows were entirely uneven but I wasn't going to let her touch them again at all 2. My sideburns still had random patches of thin hair that were visible and 3. She hadn't even carefully removed all the hair from my lip. I actually went back in to ask her to fix the stray hairs on my sideburns and she claimed she "was working fast and couldn't see clearly". Really?!?!?! there was no wait that day, it was 2pm on a Wednesday with no other customers. I wish I got her name so I could warn others but if you're facing the cashier counter she's the lady whose stall is on the left hand side. Will never go back and I've never felt that way about any threading salon in the last 17 years that I've been getting threading done. I hope the manager/owner sees this and decides to train/hire employees who take pride in their work and not just want people quickly pushed out to collect tips. read more

I purchased a groupon for a brazilian wax and used it today. I have always visited bollywood for my eyebrow and lip threading but never for any other services. As always, service was nice. Mariam helped me today. She walked me to the back and I expressed to her i was nervous as I haven't had a wax in a while and just resorted to shaving. She understood and talked to me through the whole process. I observed and there's is NO DOUBLE DIPPING going on here. I am a licensed cosmetologist and know all about sanitary safety. She was clean, swift, fast. In the end, it is a wax. It did hurt and my body was just perspiring because of the pain lol. I was a little embarrassed but she made me feel so comfortable. Now I am clean with very little discomfort. Thanks Mariam. I will go more often now and not shave since she mentioned that will lessen the pain after because there is not as much hair which makes sense. Plus, you can't beat their prices. So I went in for a Brazilian, which I had gotten before at different salons so this was not my first time. I know that I have thick hair but Miriam GAVE UP ON ME. She wasn't mean but she wasn't nice or professional either. She just said that she couldn't finish because I seemed sensitive, but really it was that she didn't want to finish the job... I literally had to shampoo the wax out of the hair that was left when I got home. I could pull hair out with the wax that she left in (which I did, quite easily, showing that it shouldn't have been too difficult to remove if I could do it with my hands). And the areas that she did do are splotchy. You get what you pay for I guess. Never going back! read more

This place is a huge rip off!!!!!! I asked for european facial. First off Miriam used cold water and when cleaning my face water was dripping down behind my ears and down the back of my neck. The :European Facial" was only 20 minutes when I asked why so short I was told the European facial was 30 minutes long vs mini facial The difference between mini and european is the use of steam So why was my facial 20 minutes and I had to pay $50.00 What a joke !
