I could eat them morning, snack, lunch, dinner and dessert. Per usual, I checked my trusty Yelp app that always delivers and BAM.....I'm having some of the best tacos to date. We started off with chips and salsa which they do apply a fee to, but it was only $2.95. The chips tasted as though they made them in house and the salsa was good as well. The star of the show are the tacos of course! I had the chicken shawarma which consisted of chicken, peppers, onions and tzatziki wrapped in a pillowy pita. The flavors were outstanding!!! I also took a chance and placed an order for the fried chicken with pimento, pineapple salsa and bacon. I was so happy I went out on a limb and tried something new. All the flavors melded so well together. The pineapple brought everything together which I would've never imagined. I only ordered two tacos and could only eat one and a half. Even as much as I loved them, I just couldn't finish them both. Any time I am remotely close to this establishment I will run wide open to it. New to Chattanooga so we have been trying out some of the local fair and we came across Bollywood and honestly....it was awesome!! The staff was welcoming and informative since we were new to the establishment, the food was fresh and well presented on the taco rack, it was amazingly quick from order to table granted we got there just after opening and it tasted amazing and of course the sweet tea was on point! I don't know what it is about world tacos in the south, but they love them here. I've given up traditional Mexican tacos for world tacos and I gotta say it's a pretty good trade off. Great place. Queso and salsa are good. I've had the Mahi Mahi, Southern Seoul, Chicken Shawarma, and Baja Shrimp tacos. All were good but the Mahi and Southern Seoul are my favorites. Service is nice and drink specials are good as well. New favorite for downtown. read more

Finally made it in to try Bollywood, and we enjoyed it. My children gave the quesadillas high ratings and said the queso was perfect (aka not spicy at all). I had the mahi mahi taco (and had it fried at the server's recommendation) and didn't love it. But the honey chipotle shrimp taco was delicious. The chips are thin and fresh, and I liked the salsa. My husband and I visited Chattanooga from Ohio in June 2021. We stopped into Bollywood tacos for dinner. The service was great the tacos were very fresh & tasty. The only negative was they only served Margaritas on the rocks, why can't establishments buy blenders? read more

This new Indian/Mexican fusion place just opened up downtown and I knew I needed to visit ASAP. It was so good and I'm looking forward to coming again soon! You'll have to make several trips anyway because there's so many tasty options on the menu. :) First, I had to try the Bollykicks tacos because I'm all about some non-traditional taco combinations. Trust & believe that I wasn't disappointed! The Chicken Shawarma and Lamb Kaftka tacos were flavorful and delicious and that naan bread was warm & soft. My boyfriend got three tacos to try : Peach Country, Honey Chipotle Shrimp, & Southern Seoul and he said they were all very good. I had a bite of two of them (I'm not a fan of shrimp) so if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Southern Seoul. It was the sweet and crunchy slaw that did it for me! We also ordered salsa & queso with chips to start, because you can tell a lot about a restaurant by their chips & salsa. Admittedly, I'm picky about my salsa as I don't like it too chunky, too tomatoey, or too bland, but the salsa here was fantastic. It had right consistency with a good bit of heat. I couldn't stop eating it! The chips were nice, thin, and crispy and though I'm unsure if they're house-made, they were warm, so it was a plus. I know it's a new business so I'm hoping they decide to add more decor and/or traditional music in the future (currently, they have a few big screen TVs that play sports) but otherwise, it was a great visit. Such a great meal here!!! We were passing through town, googled "food" saw the high reviews and stopped not knowing the menu. What an awesome surprise!! We had the lamb Kafka, pandoori, shawarma, soeul, and peach/chicken one. I need to be GF when possible, so I requested my 3 on corn, my husband ate his on naan. We had some great meals during our weekend in Atlanta, but this one left the biggest impression. Please open one of these in Nashville so we can have "world tacos" more frequently. The southern Seoul is my favorite taco on the menu next to the chicken shawarma (but you can't go wrong with any of the tacos - if i was gonna ding one it may be the Buffalo chicken taco (but it's still great)). The taco selection was diverse and every taco we tried was great. The chips and queso were worth it. Also the service for food was super fast. They sell a pitcher of margarita for $25 so that is always nice to share. We definitely have been back and each time has been great. read more

This is literally the best "Mexican food" I've ever had. I don't know how they stay in business because the price was Taco Bell, but the food was 5-start hotel. I don't know how in the world they fused Indian with Greek with Mexican, but it just worked. I wish I lived closer, but I'm still going to try to visit at least once per week. I read about this place opening months ago and was intrigued. Today the husband and I were wandering around looking for something to eat and I remembered I saw Bollywood Tacos the other day. Place is small, clean, has a few TVs (one playing basketball, the other one of the Divergent movies) and a full bar. Several drink and food specials daily (except Sunday, it's just $2 mimosas) and a small but special menu. Regular tacos are priced as expected. Specialty tacos are a little more, but worth it. We started with chips and queso and was impressed with the size of the queso. Cheesy and not spicy! My husband got the lamb/tzatziki taco and I got the schwarma taco and the Bombay tacos. All were served on Naan "shells" were absolutely delicious! Not hot spicy, but extremely flavorful. Definitely different and definitely good. Service was friendly and very fast. I have zero complaints and will definitely recommend this place and come back. 10/10 will eat Indian fusion tacos again! read more

Love love love!!!! I had been wanting to go here for soo long. It was super delicious! We tried the salsa and chips and fried avocados for apps. The fried avocado came in a fried taco bowl on a bed of lettuce and topped with pico de gallo. I wish they had an option to get a cheaper version without the taco bowl and more avocado and gallo. I had the southern seol and the mahi mahi. Both were excellent. I think I may have liked the seol a smidge more. Loved the pickled onions. The soyish sauce on it was sweet and the onions were acidic to counter that. We also had the lamb cafta and chicken shwarma! They were both excellent and the scharma was out of this world. My wife and I love Mexican and Indian and were hoping for a perfect blend. These guys nailed it! We tried almost every taco and they were all fantastic! The cauliflower taco, the Shawarma, the Carne Asada,... so good. Also their Tzatziki sauce was perfect. read more
