I had an event to go to so I decided to have my eyebrows threaded. They were able to get me in right away which was good. After I left the salon, the skin around my eyes was bright red and sore! Then a day or two later there were scabs. It's been 5 days and the scabs are still there. I stopped in to show them & the girl acted like nothing was wrong. She said she would leave a message for the owner to call me. The owner call me two days later & basically said nothing is wrong. No apologies, no offer to refund my money. To me that is poor customer service & I will not recommend this salon or ever go back!!! My advice, Stay Away!!! read more

Sue ruined my hair she did a bad bleach job and my hair was falling out in clumps she had other workers doing my hair all because she wants to get multiple clients done as told by that lady with the glasses that over books her she did not attend to me and had the cleaning crew and threading ladies that are not certified to do hair finish me because she was so overbooked and was trying to do other clients hair and squeeze in more and more customers that she can handle just to get more money she also cant perform her job correctly as her wrist has given out on her due to some sort of injury thats why she has the other ladies help her because she cant do her job due to her wrist she also gets advice from them when they are not even certified to do hair Im very disappointed how you treated me and told me you couldn't fix my hair because you said it was too damaged from how you left it you left my hair very damaged and brittle and falling out PLEASE BEWARE if you go here and make sure she dont hand you off to the other ladies and takes on clients while she has you and DO NOT LET THAT LADY WITH THE GLASSES TOUCH YOUR HAIR she always wants to step in while Sue is doing hair so Sue can get more customers money hungry witch you ruined Sue's talent to do hair by overbooking her but mostly Sue shouldn't do hair with her wrist like that. read more

I called last minute for a very needed hair dye and they were able to accommodate me immediately. 2.) I was warmly welcomed by everyone and made to feel at ease even though it was a last minute appointment 3.) Sue was very delighted to do my hair and offered great suggestions with highlights on what apparently was her day off. She came in just to do my hair. 4.) Hamidah and Sue treated me as if we had been great friends for years and my hair came out great!! 5.) I also scheduled a facial for a later date and had my eyebrows threaded which was also a great experience! I highly recommend this place. Just left feeling great they're very personal and friendly.. I've tried many salons around the HEB area and thought I'd stop and try it out. Really liked it she took her time even when it was busy I got full face thread and some wax. Afterwards the owner was so awesome she told the woman to do a aloe mask on me which felt awesome. I personally hate that I have to do my face all the time and even uncomfortable sometimes i have pcos but they truly make you feel like a princess here. Went to get brows threaded... it couldn't have been a slower process. I usually go to a different place in Grapevine and they must just be more experienced than these women. Told them I wanted a clean up and they were SO THIN when it was said and done. Had to ask them to trim because they forgot to. They tried to put HAND SANITIZER on my face and kept touching my entire face with their hands which was not necessary and I did not like. They didn't tell me the check out machine was out of paper which is fine but they had to get the owner to double check that I paid only to tell me to check my statement because they had been out of receipt paper since this morning - um, go get some for future customers throughout the day...? Also, maybe put up a sign that's visible that says "will charge extra if paying with card". You've been warned. I will never be back. read more

The ladies at Princess Threading Salon do a justice to their name - they treat you like a princess! I was absolutely amazed - from the moment I walked in, I was treated like a queen! The lady who did my full leg wax was so thorough. She used two different types of hot wax to ensure all of my hair was removed - even on the more sensitive areas of my inner thighs. She also used oil and witch hazel to help calm any redness on my skin. This was my first professional full leg wax and she made it as painless as possible and advised me on what's best to do. :) We chatted the entire time - laughing and talking about our lives. She was so personable and lovely. Talking helped make it a less painless process too! The space was clean, covid precautions were adhered to, and all staff were just so friendly! The owner consistently checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable and being taken care of by my specialist. I've come here before and they usually get it right. I decided to get an eyebrow tint as well. This time was way different. I normally get my eyebrows waxed. When I told the lady I wanted wax NOT THREADING, she asked me why I didn't want threading. I told her I don't like it and it hurts. She was almost like insulted by my response but it's the truth. She said "let's try a different thread" I told her no but she insisted saying that this green thread was different. She said I wouldn't need that much since I'm growing out my eyebrows. She told the girl where to thread (I only get them waxed once a month) I sat in the chair and the girl started on my eyebrows, Of course it hurt. I just suffered through it. She was very sweet though. Next was the tint and I think the tint turned out great. However when I looked at the final product all my progress from growing out my eyebrows was gone!!! They are so thin! I can't believe it. I'm so sad. I've tried and tried to grow them out using everything on the market and it's all gone. I'm so disappointed. read more

I went to Princess Threading Salon and Spa twice for a haircut with Sue and threading by Kabita (I believe that was the name of the young woman who threaded my brows). The brow threading was very good and inexpensive. The overall feeling, look and management of the salon is a bit chaotic--the salon is almost bare, people come and go and there does not seem to be much order, I rarely got a live person to answer the phone when I called, there isn't a proper business message on the answering machine, my first appointment was set before normal opening time and the salon was closed when I arrived (that event is a long story--Sue showed up 10 minutes late, I had to leave a couple of messages that morning trying to figure out if they were coming...) My first shampoo and cut with Sue was decent. The second time I went, she was not ready for me so she asked someone else to shampoo me. The woman who shampooed me may not have ever done that before, as she was totally unprepared to do that. The cut I received the second time was not nearly as good as the first one and cost more (they even asked me what I paid the first time to try to figure out what to charge me, then still charged me more. weird). Sue apparently forgot how she cut it the first time, as she only trimmed the ends and did not cut any layers. I went back a couple of days later and asked that she add the layers in back, as it was flat. She 'added lift' by taking a clump of hair and twisting it, then cutting under it (more on this later). I decided to wait 8 weeks to get another cut, 2 weeks longer than usual, to let my hair grow out enough to enable a new stylist to give me a good cut. Even at 8 weeks post-cut, my new stylist showed me a chunk of hair on top of my head that was only two to three inches long (I have nearly shoulder-length hair). She said I was butchered and could only clean up my cut until it grows out some more. The 'twist and clip' did indeed give me lift on top, but I will have to live with the consequences for many weeks before it can be remedied. I do not recommend this salon for a professional cut. read more
