The "aestheticians" took out disposable foam files and buffers. My thought was - what is going on here? $20 manicure + $10 shellac take off later this is how my nails looked. It is atrocious. I feel shameful on their behalf about the lack of skills in doing manicures and other nail services. At the end, they offered to buff my nails some more but the damage was done. Sometimes you just have to close a chapter in your life and I can say, I'm ready to move onto better.

When I arrived for my appointment, Esther met me at the door with a mask, I was required to sanitize my hands at the door, and proceeded into the service room. It was extremely clean and I felt very safe. They also took down my information for Covid-19 purposes. I was very impressed by my service and absolutely loved my brow wax and tint appointment. They are located in Bloor West Village which is convenient for post appointment groceries, errands and close to the subway. The berry colored lipstick application was horrendous that I got rid of it immediately after I was done. I asked the lady to contour my face she didn't even know what that meant. After she was done, I looked basically like a clown . But maybe even worse. Anyone who walked in the salon was staring at me and was wondering what the hell I was thinking getting that make up done. I ran to my car and quickly went home and washed my face three times. Then I did my whole makeup with the MAC cosmetics that I own and it was a million times better than them. They charged us $140. Beatrice takes time to listen to my wishes for my hair and will say if she thinks it won't suit and come up with something else. I had my first appointment 8 weeks before I went back for my touch up. I went back for my touch up and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've been recommending Sally to everyone who compliments my new eyebrows. The waxing services are top notch too. I've had my upper lip, legs, underarms and Brazilian all done here and I won't be going anywhere else. I often pop in just to say hi if I'm in the area as it is so welcoming. I was contemplating whether or not I should visit the nail salon, but after speaking to them over the phone, they assured me and told me what safety measures they have taken, and I was pleased. Everyone including customers had to wear masks, they had a plastic frame that was between the customer and nail technician. They checked temperatures for the staffs starting their shifts. And there was a sink to wash your hands, and hand sanitizer. As always they did a great job with my finger nails and toe nails. I have been going here for over 10 years. They never disappoint.

I called to ask if they were free to take me in and they agreed to take me in last minute ! I was a lil worried as why weren't they busy right??? But I guess it was just that time of day. I had my pedicure done by a gentleman. Didn't get his name but he was super professional and I was not in pain.
