Sorry I went there as the owner was waxing my eyebrows she did a sloppy job on the right side and the left side she yanked the cotton so hard it pulled out part of my skin. Unfortunately she had the wax put halfway down on my eyelid so when she removed the cotton it tore my eyelid . She panicked and started mopping up the blood . I am so sorry I ever went to this place and will never go again . I took some pictures and was even considering going to see a lawyer to sue for damages. Very unhappy with the service as well as the damages done to my eyelids. When that was over she still turned around and charged me for my eyebrows . I narrowed down based on the best reviews possible and the nearest location. I ended up picking this place! I was able to get a consultation and drove by. The place look amazing! Everyone was so nice. They offered some hot tea or coffee to drink if i needed but i was okay. It was sweet of them though! Before i did the hair coloring session, i had to pay a deposit to ensure my spot for the day then when i'm done completely, i pay the remaining amount. I forgot whom i spoke to but i wanted an ash brown balayage. The lady said my hair is too long and dry and probably would cost anywhere near $600+. She suggested i go for a dark caramel brown since if we go for ash brown, it might take two session. My hair inspiration picture was a little lighter so i agreed and went with the hairstylist's idea. We set out the price as $400+ instead since i had a conversation with my mom and we mutually agreed i'd have my hair cut before we do the actual process. I wasn't sure if i'm allergic to any of the hair products they use including the bleach involved. She kindly put some of the bleach on my arm and said if i don't feel any reaction then i'm good, if so, i'd have to call her to let her know. I didn't have reaction, it was good to go. The hair process took about 4-6 hours. We did the bleaching session, which was an hour (i think). The shampoo and conditioner, was just few minutes. After that, we then put the color in and let it rest before we wash that out. It was such a crazy experience to see my color going from black to light blonde for the bleaching part! The hairstylist blowdried and curled my hair. It looked amazing! I find the price quite expensive but it was worth it! I gave her tip as well before leaving the place. My balayaged hair lasted almost 2 years. There was no orange strands which some people did went through when having colored hair, i didn't get it! I was able to wash normally as i would. Their description, "Grooming studio for men" is a nice tight way of saying "Come hang out in our man cave and get your hair cut". I didn't know what to expect walking into this place, but I was thoroughly blown away. The waiting area looks like the ultimate man's living room. The receptionist offered to take my jacket and make myself at home. There's a leather sofa, a coffee table with some manly magazines on it, a giant flat-screen TV playing sports with also a PS3 hoked up, and a bar. Yes a bar. That bar is used for them to offer you a drink from which is included in the "Alpha Male" service package. When it's your turn, the stylist takes you over to a chair and you have a quick consultation about what you'd like done. After that you're over to a station where you wash your hands and they do a paraffin wax hand dip. Next, the stylist will get you seated at the sink. You get a quick facial rub down and you're face is wrapped in a hot towel. While your face and hands are basking in the warmth you get your hair washed and scalp massaged. Once this is all complete it's on to the cut. The cut was the most attention my hair has ever gotten in my entire life. My hair is pretty short, so it mostly involves clippers to get it cut. I'm not sure how many different guards she used but she sure made sure everything was blended perfectly. Best haircut I've ever had. The Alpha Male service is $45 before tax and tip which is extremely reasonable in my opinion for everything you get.
