    Gobi Manchurian Dry
    Ritesh M.

We got here early one Sunday for lunch and were one of the first ones to sit down. We noted a very strong floral scent and while my family found it a bit too strong, I knew the aroma of onions and garlic would soon fill the space! We ordered several dishes to try and didnt even make it to the noodle and rice section! Gobi Manchurian Dry- fantastic crisp and blend of spices and right amount of sauce. I loved the soy garlic flavor profile and my only criticism was that the serving size was on the lighter side even for an app. Chili Baby Corn- Full disclosure- we anticipated the flavor of this would be too close to the gobi as we have seen in many restaurants. We were happily proven wrong- a very unique sauce with lots of cumin coming in. We all were scooping up the bell peppers with the sauce. This serving size felt more apt. Veg Kadai - Nice sized chunks of fresh veggies in yet another wonderful sauce. These folks don't play when it comes to keeping flavors distinct! Tandoori Soya chop- recommended to get this with malai on top instead of the dry version. Perfect subtle char and the sauce was a nice addition. Only constructive criticism was it was a little more heavy handed on the salt so anything eaten after a bite of this was muted. Our son wanted crispy fries and asked if they could toss it in a spice powder. They used a great peri peri style seasoning but to our surprise and disappointment- they also put a mayo type sauce on top. We did not complain but this got left behind. Lesson learned to specify no mayo. Their latcha paratha and roti were also solid. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations (soya with malai). Overall we loved the atmosphere, service, and that all the dishes did not blend together. It is a little pricier than your average spot but veggies are fresh and your taste buds do a little more dancing here.

I've been here many times before and every-time is better than the previous experience. The decor is beautiful all the way down to the tableware that they use. The staff are kind and responsive. The food is fresh and tastes like no other. Very happy with my meal here and will keep coming back.

I loved this spot! It was my first time in Edison and I'm impressed by the quality of the food. Food: we got two chaats and both were delicious. Well packed and flavorful. For entrees: the malai kofta was one of the best that I've ever tasted. I also really liked the chili paneer gravy dish! The portion sizes were really good, we had tons of left overs. Ambience: nice spot with a lot of seating! Service: good attentive service Price: for the amount of food you get I think it is worth it

I love coming here with a group since they're able to accommodate larger parties. The inside is decorated very well, and service is pretty consistent. I've ordered out from here several times with no issues. Dine-in is just as good. The last time we went, my friend got a chai, and I've gotten the chance to try their lamb vindaloo and fried okra. The okra fries are my absolute favorite (5/5), and if you can handle spice, they don't hold back on any of the vindaloo variants. I wouldn't come here specifically for the biryanis, but all the other curries are on point B^) ty for reading

I was really surprised with how good all of the food selections were. Super tasty, clean restaurant, fast service, and plenty of parking- what more is there to ask for? Every dish was delicious and I did enjoy the masala soda! I'd come back here if I'm craving Indian food.

So many dishes and colors and spices and sauces what more can you ask for!

Best Indian food I ever had in my Life, check this hidden Gem out you'll be amazed at the Flavors bursting into your mouth service was great quick and fast. The ambiance is very nice more than enough space and tables for a large group to enjoy. I've been to a few spots down here but hands down this is the best.

Went shopping in Edison, and my boyfriend was raving about this place and wanted me to try it. We went for an early dinner, and the place wasn't that packed for a Saturday yet. Of course, I had to try the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan combo, which was ok. Drinks were really good; I got the Guava Marry, and he got the Masala Chaas, which I'd never had before and was really good. The Tandoor Chicken was ok; I recommend getting the Masala Onion, which was another first for me to go with the chicken since it gives it a bit more kick, or requesting it to be more spicy. The food overall wasn't spicy at all for those with sensitive palates. They do have a lot of options with the food. The service was great, fast, and prompt.

The entire experience was 5 stars! We were immediately greeted, given a beautiful table and water was on our table in under 5 minutes. The level of customer service here was impeccable to say the least. Our server was also the main host and he was funny and really nice. He was very attentive as well. The room was modern with very detailed mosaic chandeliers, plus an entire mural on the wall that was painted by an artist and the other side of the dining room was the gallery of even more interesting paintings of icons. As an artist, this made me happy and was unexpected! The food was freshly prepared, we took our time to enjoy and eat and the experience was amazing.

Indian lunch at bombay blue in Edison, NJ. We were the only non Indians dining and it was packed. Phenomenal table service, modern artsy ambiance and great food. They'll accommodate your spice level. We did Indian level. Free parking lot.

Great ambiance, top notch service, and amazing menu. Lots of veg as well as non veg options. North Indian speciality. Good was flavorful and spicy and amazing. This place is BYOB. Their non alcoholic drinks were also fantastic. Great spot for a friends gathering, a birthday lunch, but keep in mind it gets busy and a little loud.

Recommend making a reservation if you come here on the weekends- it was open when we came in (around 7PM on a Friday) but it quickly got busy as the night went on. Service was friendly and the staff took time to explain dishes and various spice levels. The highlight of the dishes we got were the Indo-Chinese options- the Hakka noodles and gobi manchurian were excellent. The paneer makhani was nothing to write home about- you can easily find a lot better in the area. I was told the goat dish was also very flavorful. Nice decor and spacious indoor area- I probably wouldn't come back right away given the abundance of Indian options but solid if you are in the area

This restaurant is such a welcoming place! I went the first time in November 2023. I brought a large group of about 14 people and they were easily able to accommodate us with no issues. I returned a few weeks ago with a smaller group and it was the same, great service. Everyone in my party loved the food. I had them modify the Gobhi Manchurian to be vegan and gluten- free and it was amazing! I also got the Aloo Gonhi Masala. I was so full after my appetizer, that I brought it home and had leftovers for two days! I am very pleased to see many vegan and gluten -free options on their menu. If you are either or both, you won't go hungry.

Solid Indian option. We were in the area and found this place on yelp. It was quite busy on a Saturday night. It's a busy spot but is fairly big so we were seated with no wait. Food came out quickly. Everything was tasty although a little on the salty side. My favorites were: -gobi Manchurian. First time having this so I don't have a benchmark. It's really flavorful and quite spicy -chicken sizzler plate. Also tasty with a generous amount of chicken Everything was good though. Next time I wont order the chilli garlic noodles because that wasn't as good as the Indian dishes. Service is friendly Only complaint is that the gratuity is auto added to the bill but this is not obvious when you go to sign for the check. That shows the space for tip but does not mention that tip has already been paid. It is intentionally deceitful imo

Depending on how big your party is, you can order a combo for 2,3,4+ people, and the portion is generous! You can then pick how many toppings you want in your broth, and what sides you want. There are 3 broths to choose from, with 2 spicy, and 1 tomato (non spicy). The toppings can include vegetables like bok choy or enoki, all the way to glass noodles and spam. My favorite sides are the fried pork belly, and fried chicken wings. They do their fried foods well, and the 5 spice dipping powder is sooo good with it. Their cucumber salad, and the black noodles are cold dishes that are light and refreshing. The noodles are a bit on the sour side, so it's great to pair if you get a spicier or oilier soup. You can also pick from fish, beef or a combo. I'm from a seafood family, but surprisingly we pick beef most times. It's soo tender and it soaks up the flavors very well. It's worth a visit! You should definitely come try :)

We decided on the small pot with beef and 2 sides special. For a combo that fed 2 people with leftovers to spare it was a good deal. The small pot is quite large. We got to choose some premium ingredients such as king oyster mushrooms and wide starch noodles. The deal came with a choice of 2 sides so we got fried pork belly and takoyaki. Both arrived pretty fresh and piping hot, not stale. The main course of the small pot we chose with mild spicy flavor. It had a good numbing spicy kick though it a hint of the greasy taste that turns me off a little bit with these types of dishes. It wasn't overwhelmingly greasy, thankfully. There was a generous amount of beef and mushrooms as well as noodles. Overall a great meal at a good price.

The bowls are made of thick, sturdy paper, with a beautiful red base and gold rim--both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly. Ordering is done through a self-service kiosk, but there are still staff members nearby. When it's not busy, they are friendly and happy to assist with any questions.
