We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and got sat right away. We had a wonderful lunch and were very pleased with all the different options on the menu. I had the Miami spice menu which consisted of the Chicken 65 starter, Tandoori Shrimp and Kheer Brûlée. The sauce on the chicken had the perfect amount of spice and was so juicy. Along with the chicken we also got vegetable samosas, which were so flavorful and crispy. The tandoori shrimp came with a side of rice and garlic naan and was very delicious and generous in portion size. We also ordered the chicken tikka masala entree which paired perfectly with the garlic naan and was our favorite dish. The kheer brûlée was a perfect way to end the meal; it wasn't overly sweet and the combination of flavor and texture made it a really satisfying treat. To drink we had a mango lassi, which was creamy and refreshing. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, and all of the staff was so welcoming. It's a week after that glorious business lunch and I still have Tikka Massala on my Mind! I had heard of this place forever and finally had the opportunity to eat there. Their lunch specials are the equivalent of Bento Boxes Indian style. Small portions of carefully seasoned and curated Indian delicacies along with naan, roti, samosa and dessert all for $17. We went to Miami for my birthday weekend and went to Bombay Darbar based on my friends recommendation. After going there I realized i have been here earlier. It was 7 of us and mostly vegetarian. The server was fairly new and had no idea about indian food as she was Cuban. So had to keep calling this other guy to ask questions and give any specific instructions. This is simply a review based on Doordash order. I've been a longtime fan of Bombay Darbar since before they moved into their new larger location. Personally it's one of the best Indian Restaurants in the area and arguably the best in my opinion. And this new location has even more room. When I came across a special on Doordash for them for BOGO Butter Chicken I had to place an immediate order. To no surprise there was plenty of to go orders when I came for pickup. But as my experience has normally been with Bombay Darbar they are always on point not only with the food but also the service. They had a quick in and out process and handled everything extremely smooth. Even though they were busy with restaurant service and to go orders it didn't phase them. The food was as always spectacular. I can eat their Butter Chicken 365 days of the year. My doctor may advise against it but who's listening to them. It's a beautiful space with extensive seating indoor and outdoor. However the star of the show, the food, was amiss The mango lassi was not fresh and tasted like the mango lassi poured from a gallon. Ambiance and Service was great. parking was a bit confusing, because the restaurant hostess informed me that the ticket where I was directed me to make a phone call forr some gyrations to pay by an app? and gave me other parking instructions. She said the parking ticket in the bulding next to the restaurant was going to be " validated" when we exited the restaurant; however it turned out to be a discount and eventually I ended up paying $4.0 for the time we were having dinner. I should have park there in the first place and not listened to this unnecessary "validation" offer. The garlic naan had a funny taste that wasn't garlic at all; the Dal Makani that I so much wished for, seemed over heated , oily and never could detect the lentils that are so good in the Dal Makani. Sorry, for the hazzle of leaving my wife in the restaurant while I had to exit three times to figure out how this parking had to be. For appetizers, I usually enjoy the chili chicken and anything tandoori. Some of my favorite main dishes, are butter chicken, lamb kadhai, tikka masala, and all the biryani rices paired with warm garlic naan and paneer naan. Some tasty vegetable dishes are mushroom makhani and bhindi masala (Okra). Many vegan options available. I also order through grubhub for delivery and on two ocassions I received the wrong item or missing an item. I was told next time let me know and I give you an extra item but I never ask since I don't even know how to explain that or feel embarrassed to call and ask for it.
