They had a good selection of pies, but unfortunately, they only sell them by the whole pie, and not the slice. I would've loved to try a slice of their pie. I did buy a half dozen of their cinnamon, apple cider donuts, and unfortunately, I was disappointed. First of all, they were dusted with way too much cinnamon sugar. It literally overtook the flavor of the doughnut. Secondly, unfortunately, the donuts were dry. Apple cider donuts are supposed to be soft, and moist in the middle, and they were just, well, dry in the middle. It definitely took away from the enjoyment of the doughnut. Other than that, , I liked the place. Thanks.

We ordered a blueberry pie and their cider donut bread pudding. The pie had a lattice top and was perfectly sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed it. They had the smallest blueberries in it and many were very much intact but not tart at all. Same for the bread pudding; my husband could tell that there was a fried component which made it super decadent, but it wasn't actually that sweet either! It was moist, nicely spiced with cinnamon, and the syrup that came with it enhanced everything. Color me impressed! I plan on visiting the farm and Market in person once it warms up and see everything else they have to offer. Once I do, I'll update this review.

The only sitting area around (aside from the pumpkin garden that had no seats available) was a small secluded room next to the wine section. There were no customers there. So I made my way to a stool, took out my nursing poncho (I'm European so for me breastfeeding is completely natural, nonetheless I understand and respect the fact that other people might get distracted by it so I still wear a poncho to cover myself in public) and was about to take my baby out of his stroller when a lady working in the counter asked me what was I looking for. I replied "nothing thanks I just have to nurse him". She then stopped in complete shock, looked at me in disgust and said "You CANNOT DO THAT HERE". I think I was just as in shock upon hearing this in the 21st century, in a so-called "family-friendly" place. I quickly got up, turned away, and had to go all the way back to my car with my crying baby to be able to feed him. Of course as soon as I finished breastfeeding him in my car, I drove off, and I will for sure never drive into this place again. Nor will I recommend it to any other moms. Really sucky experience for a postpartum woman, who just moved into town, and was very excited to take her baby to the farm. I had booked my tickets a couple days ago and what I expected to be a fun farm day turned out to be an experience where I felt judged and discriminated for having to do something as physiological as feeding my baby. I understand a room next to a wine-selling section might not be an ideal place to nurse, trust me, it wasn't for me either. But the lady could have been a LOT nicer, much less judgy, and be polite enough to guide me into a better place to feed my baby rather than making me go away as if I was gross. I think if you work in a customer-facing role in a family farm, being this rude to a family should be a deal breaker and managing these situations with kindness should be non-negotiable. And if you're a place that "welcomes" families with kids of all ages, you should also expect some breastfeeding moms might have to feed their children.. And either have a place for them to do so, or good enough manners to handle the situation. But maybe that's just me. Extremely bizarre day for me and my family.

Visiting to BOMBAY-SPICE-II (95 Lincoln Hwy, Edison, NJ 08820) last Friday night left me with a bitter taste about Indian dining. The restaurant not only served frozen food but also treated me and my companions with disrespect and abusive expressions, and the overall service was appallingly bad. As soon as our meals were served, it became apparent that the food was not freshly prepared. The veggie-rolls were extreme cold & vegetables were soggy, the meat-starter was too dry and flavorless, and the overall presentation was far from appetizing. This was an incredibly disappointing discovery, that the food had been reheated from frozen. The attitude and behavior of the staff were shockingly disrespectful. When I politely raised the issue of the frozen food, I was met with hostile and arrogant expressions from the manager. Instead of offering an apology or attempting to resolve the issue, the staff member began hurling insults and accusations at our group. In addition to the mistreatment from the staff, the overall service was incredibly POOR. The wait staff appeared disinterested and inattentive, and we were left waiting for extended periods of time for even the most basic of service needs. It was evident that there was a severe lack of organization and efficiency within the restaurant, which resulted in a thoroughly unpleasant dining experience. In conclusion, visiting to this restaurant was a complete disaster. I clearly mentioned to the staff that WE WILL NEVER REVISIT SUCH PLACE & ENSURE OUR FRIENDS/RELATIVES ALSO AVOID BOMBAY-SPICE-II. read more

I asked for chicken mughlai n they send me butter chicken. I have tasted many many times difference between chicken mughlai and butter chicken. It's no way this is chicken mughlai in this picture below. Worst and bad service.. u can see the difference Between chicken mughlai and this location butter chicken. the chef said he made in butter chicken style. But I didn't wanted they even didn't bother to ask can they make in butter chicken style.. even they are not accepting their mistake. I told the chef I didn't say to make in butter chicken style. Bombay Spice 2 in Edison is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Indian food. One of THE WORST service ever. We ordered an pick up for 18 naans with few curries as were having a gathering with colleagues. They gave only 8 naans in that package which we found out when having lunch. Food was no where sufficient and it was such an embarrassing situation. When called them up, they were behaving mean and they were not even ready to deliver the missing items though they charged in full with some ridiculous reasons. We had mango lassi, cold coffee, sev puri, dahi puri, paneer frankie, chicken sizzler, large dosa, chilli chicken, fried rice, noodles, mango dessert, and hot coffee -- and honestly, every dish hit the spot. I am disgusted by the fact that this place does not even make the food fresh. The girl at the counter slipped up and said that it came from a factory and they reheat it. The basically re heat it and if you look at the containers its obvious. Never will ever come back here and save yourself a trip. This place is also Desi Glaxy location are the same. When entering from Grove Ave, it's easy to be a little bit confused because the restaurant is stuck in the corner behind what used to be Stop n Shop and such. The shopping center is certainly very empty without the anchor grocery store, so it's often quite easy to miss this. Knowing that the restaurant opens dinner service around 6, we got here just before then and realized that the staff was already accepting people beforehand. That was great. As my girl is from Goa, this was a place that was on her mind for some time to try. Likewise, I wanted to try some authentic Maharastrian food too. To start, we ordered a mango lassi & a Kaira Panha. I stuck with the former, which was great. My girl enjoyed her drink too, though def not my first preference. For an appetizer, we ordered the Kothimbir Wadi. This was quite tasty and well enjoyed with the chutney. Certainly authentic. For the main meal, my girl enjoyed her fish fry. I got the Veg. Kohlapuri along with Garlic Naan. The Kohlapuri was good and was easily able to finish it. The only small gripe we had was that the tomato-based curry kinda reminded me of a North Indian korma that you'd get from other establishments. My girl noted this and do wonder whether this is truly the proper way of making and enjoying a Vegetarian Kohlapuri. She noted it was meant to not have a tomato base and was supposed to be a bit more flavorful. As this was my first time, I'm not sure if I can fully validate this, but it's worth a question. Nonetheless, I can't complain about the food. Just simply a curiosity on my end.

Paneer Tikka Sautee- loved that the onions and peppers were cut thin so they absorbed flavors as well. Paneer was nicely prepared with lots of flavor in every bite. Thali's - this is where we were let down. Many of the dishes were overly sweet and began to all taste the same with different textures. Rotis were a hit and fresh but the dishes were not. Side note: We ordered two lemonades hoping for that nostalgic fresh squeezed taste but were served two cups of water with very little lemon and no sugar. Polite staff.

Sev puri is one of my favorite chaat dishes and I was looking forward to it. Cashier was very friendly and service was quick. I found a table in the small seating area and waited for my food. Disappointing that this version did not include any chickpeas. The samosas are quite large and served with plenty of tamarind and mint sauce. The booth next store was selling stewed chickpeas so I bought a small portion and added it to my meal. Now that was perfect! There is a fresh juice booth there too. I ordered a veggie juice but those shakes were tempting! All and all, a tasty inexpensive fresh meal.

Since it is Bengali restaurant, not sure if it is famous for fish ! I don't eat fish though . Thank god I ordered Rosh gullas. Rasa gulla was absolutely awesome and didn't make me leave with a sad face . Sweets are truly recommended on this restaurant. Overall a very average experience . Wanted to give 2 stars but gave a 3 star , for the rosh gulla :)

I would never go to this place again and do not recommend anyone.
