If I could give this place a 0 I would. Their food is usually good, but their customer service is absolute trash now, and I've been going here for years. We placed an online order, got a text saying it's ready, went to the restaurant only to be told someone must have hit it by accident. He says 5-10 minutes and that they're just so busy- fine no problem. We wait over an HOUR more and go home. We call 2 times to check on our order status. The second time, it seems like it's not even done so I ask him to please cancel it and refund my money. Magically, he says it's ready after I said that. We head over, I go inside to 4 people standing at the front counter just staring at me not asking what I need or if they can help. Just staring...??? Until the same guy who told me 5-10 minutes about 1.5 hours ago looks for my order. He doesn't even find it and someone from the kitchen JUST comes out with it. When we got home we realized that they definitely forgot to make our order - probably because someone marked it as done when I got the initial text - and they just made it before we went the last time because it was piping hot. To top everything off, the food was not good this time. I would assume it's because they rushed it - the Kati rolls were super dry, the chili paneer looked nothing like it normally does, etc. I honestly will not go back here again. I recently dine there and they are speciality is kati roll. So me and my husband ordered paneer and chicken kati roll. I rate them 5 out of 10. Panner kati roll was too dry and for chicken it was no spice. Also, there drink are very small portion and they charge $6 bucks for juice. read more

If I could give them above 5-Star here, I would! that's how good they were . we drove 2,1/2 hours and our family members came over from Maryland just to try their Chaat varieties. I ordered a take out waiting at the restaurant and I wasn't informed of the wait time. They didn't pick up my order on the phone so I drove and waited at their parking lot. I kept checking on the order and was told it would be ready in 5min. The order never came and they seem to be busy with party orders and kept me waiting. Bombay spice has a distinct menu for Indian street food and chat items. The Kaati roles were totally savourable and the flavors along with the sauces is the best I have had. I recommended this place for anyone who wants to eat one of the best Indian chats(street food). read more

I wish there was an option to give 10 stars here. Let me tell you this. Bombay spice 2 offered me the best vada pav that I have had in the USA. It was so very yummy. So much so that I called up the Bombay spice II restaurant, just to let hem know that the vada pav was amazing. So much did I like it that I almost quarreled with my wife and stole the remainder of her vada pav. LOL. Thanks a lot to the chef, whoever it is. I wish I can have that vada pav on a daily basis. :P. We went to this place based on yelp reviews and ratings. We ordered punjabi platter and Usal Pav. Punjabi platter had Palak paneer and daal, both really tasy. The was really great and authentic. I ordered online for pick up from here without really knowing much about the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of options for vegetarians on their menu and best of all their food really tasted great. I got shahi paneer, dal makhani and a garlic naan. Their takeaway was also very fast however the lady who I talked to when I entered the restaurant was a little confused over the order when it was sitting in front of her the entire time. I stopped by Bombay Spice on a whim after work. After a long day, I was in the mood for something different from my typical Italian taste. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with basic furnishings and a large showcase of pastries up front by the register. I have to give tons of credit to the staff for a friendly and welcoming demeanor. I openly admitted I had no idea what anything was and asked about the Punjabi Platter - the search ended right there. A choice of lentil, veggie, rice and naan all served together for just $7! I'm pretty sure I had a choice of how to prepare the lentils and of what vegetables, but since I had no clue the girl chose for me. Overall the food was excellent. There was enough for a hearty meal with PLENTY of leftovers. The yellow lentils were rich with a fresh curry taste. The veggie was a sweet red sauce (I'm guessing butter masala) with paneer (cubes of cheese). The rice was perfectly cooked and per the usual I was obsessed with naan. I think this place could be a good hole in the wall gem, but really don't know Indian food well enough to give an absolute answer. My one guarantee is that I will certainly be back soon. read more

This place advertises itself as a kati roll specialist. This caught my eye as I was driving down highway 27. We ordered some kati rolls and biryani to go on a saturday evening. The restaurant does seat at least 20-25 people but no one was around when I reached. A couple of employees were at a table working on some paper work for the restaurant. The kati rolls were decent. The size itself was good and the filling was tasty (and spicy). They have some room for improvement on their roti. For instance, they do not offer egg as an option for the roti. The biryani was average. Nothing special. Meat distribution was decent. As with most biryani places, the rice seemed dry and separated from the meat. They do offer a whole lot of other items here from indo chinese to north indian dishes. For this reason, I am always a bot skeptical about a restaurant which tries to be too much. read more

I just love this place. When I am in the area, I always call to place a take out order. I am very partial to their aloo papri chat. So good and the portions are incredibly generous. The kati rolls are great too. Food is so authentic and delicious that it's practically like my grandmother herself made these dishes. Prices are great. I've been to a party where this place catered and it was delicious. Usually, catered Indian food is not great. This place is the exception. The place is very casual, no frills. The staff is very helpful. Seriously, go and try it. You will love it!! I will not take away a star for this, but the parking lot is a bit awkward, so be aware of that, especially if you are driving a large vehicle. read more

On telling the server they said its paneer so its blend. I have tried other places and it's not like this. We also order grilled Frankie and kadai paneer all blend. No taste at all. They have to work harder on their bombay sandwich. Its so dry and you just cant taste the chutney. Its tasteless. Also its a homestyle restaurant with good staff. Also they close pretty soon.
