Today was the first time I've ever been charged extra for a "curl/flat iron," even though my hair wasn't curled or flat ironed at all. The haircut itself was nice, but the blow-dry was honestly really bad--it looked like I tried to do it myself and failed. I didn't say anything in the salon, but when I got home, my friends pointed out how bad it looked, which made me realize I wasn't overreacting. Overall, I do like this salon, especially for walk-ins. If I had to rank the stylists I've been to: Madeline is definitely #1--she did an amazing job with both the cut and styling, and there were no random extra charges. Abel also did a great job with my highlights. Katie and Heather would be tied. They're both very nice, but Katie cut my hair noticeably uneven--I even had coworkers telling me not to go back to her, which is why I stopped coming to the salon for a while. Heather did a good job with the haircut itself, but the styling was not good. I wouldn't have minded as much since I planned to redo my hair at home anyway, but being charged extra for styling that didn't turn out well is frustrating. I was actually going to ask to skip the blow-dry, but she said she needed to dry it to see how it laid and refine the cut. If it had turned out good, I wouldn't have minded the upcharge--but paying extra for something that looked this bad is really disappointing. And the extra charge wasn't explained it almost seemed like she was trying to sneak it in as she whispered to the receptionist to help her add the charge. I understand things happen but it's his duty to cancel or reschedule with me. You have to respect people's time! I almost rescheduled right then and there but shame on me if I had rescheduled with someone who didn't bother to cancel his appointment with me. Better luck to those of you who decide to give this salon a chance!

Decided to treat myself for my birthday with a new hair do and my hair was so damaged from all the previous hair color I had put in my hair in the past.. Before going to Nathaly I went to a previous hair stylist who ruined my hair, I felt hopeless then I came across Nathalys Instagram and right away felt like I can trust her! I never thought of dying my hair nor have I gotten my hair done, I was scared for someone to damage or fry my hair until I scrolled through Natalie's instagram. I changed my opinion really fast. She's very sweet and listens to want you want . She will let you know what you want is possible or the amount of sessions is needed to get your desired look without damaging your hair . Customer service is excellent and staff is very welcoming. It feels great to walk to a place for the first time and be acknowledged in a pleasant way without feeling like you are a burden because you walked in without an appointment. After I said what type of haircut I wanted (long layers and face framing front layers) I was taken to get my hair washed and shampooed. You stay there for a moment and afterwards get taken back to the chair for it to get cut. My hair was blow dried and I loved the way it turned out after. Overall the experience was very relaxing and I loved the style! I paid $75 for the haircut and I would highly recommend this salon as they offer many more hair services.
