I can only hope that by posting this they will realize their pure unprofessional behavior and never treat a client the way they treated me again. I went in with long black box dye hair wanting chocolate brown. I had requested the hair stylist joanna to check my hair before proceeding with bleaching it and that was not done at all. She left the bleach on my hair for over 2 hours and melted off my hair. I ended up having to dye it back to black as what I requested was not it at all. Later She did acknowledge the fact that she had melted off my hair and that unfortunately this will have to be a learning lesson for her. I appreciated her honesty and the fact that she personally refunded me some of the money she received for doing my hair service. However she informed me that she is commission based and her boss wanted me to come in so she can see my hair in person before refunding the remaining $150. I go in to see Pauline and immediately chose to deliberately humiliate me even more than I already was with the sudden unexpected loss of the length of my hair. In front of everyone she announced that because I dyed my hair she has no obligation to give my money back and thats what I get for using box dye. Dismissing the fact that her own employee had acknowledged and openly admitted to burning off my hair. She decided to not even listen to me, look at any pictures I tried showing her, and in the end asked me to leave her establishment. Pauline herself even saw my hair the day I went in to get it done she saw how long and healthy my hair was whether she wants to admit it or not. So again I leave Vivid humiliated and at a loss of now my money and more of my time. Pauline's mind was made up before I came in to see her. I was even told she would contact me and she never did. Even empathy to what happened to me would have been nice, I understand products were used, however I do not think I should have to pay to have had my hair burnt off at all. Mistakes happen Pauline but the way you handle situations is very important while running a business. Good luck to you with that attitude and lack of respect for the people who decided to support your salon. I was completely unaware of their "7 day policy" as no one had informed me about it. He said he didn't want to wait a couple weeks to surprise me with this gift and wanted me to enjoy it as soon as I could and I'm so thankful! I booked a 90 minute Swedish Massage with Paulina and added a sugar scrub. My experience started with a lovely receptionist who gave me a tour of the facility. Beautiful music and relaxed lighting throughout. They had complimentary water, tea, wine, & champagne for while you wait in a room with a very cozy couch. I was taken to my massage room immediately. Paulina was wonderful!! Very professional, kind and she went over the forms I filled out thoroughly to give me the best massage that fit my needs. I have very sensitive skin and usually masseuses hurt me easily with the pressure they apply but here at Headlines Paulina gave me the perfect massage. She didn't hurt me at all. She made me comfortable in knowing I could speak up at any moment if I needed the pressure to be changed but didn't need to. The massage bed itself was awesome. It was adjusted to contour to my shape and was heated which gave me maximum comfort. The facility was very clean. I felt safe in all aspects of letting my guard down and just breathed in the moment. After my massage I was given a complimentary MindSync Session. I sat in a room in a recliner that lifted me up and reclined and vibrated to the sound of the peaceful music I chose on a monitor. The headphones played the music and I was given a blanket and heated/weighted/ lightly scented eye mask. I was in heaven! I took that peace home with me. I feel rejuvenated and ready to continue taking care of myself. Obviously I highly recommend this Spa. Paulina, thank you so much, dear, for a wonderful day. And big thanks to my husband for giving me the best gift ever!
