    Chicken 999 Biryani
    Jane M.

TLDR: 8/10 for food. I placed an order for pickup online for Madras Goat Curry, Special Boneless Chicken biryani and nalgonda fish fry. Order was accepted and about 15 mins before my pickup time I got a call saying they dont have any goat so I said fine substitute it with boneless chicken. So make it madras boneless chicken curry instead of the madras goat curry. Drove to pickup my order, had to wait another 10 mins which is fine. The special boneless chicken biryani was fantastic flavorful and tasted amazing even after a day. The fish fry was also fabulous and tasted like chicken 65 but with fish. The chicken curry(bone-in) was greasy and there were only bones and barely any meat on those bones. So hopefully boneless is better. Its a small place and not really great ambience to dine in. Seems like a togo place. The food was great and tasted authentic. Highly recommend.

Normally I liked the food at this restaurant but the last couple of times has been bad experience. Gobi 65 biryani with double masala order has ended up being most white rice with hardly any flavor or masala. This is not the first time we had this experience, we had this incident in the past and provided feedback. They accept to correct themselves gracefully, but they are back to same situation again. Why pay extra for a biryani and extra for double, but end up with this!!?? I am not planning to order from here ever again.

    Falaknuma chicken biryani (bone-in)
    Poojitha a.

We ordered the Falaknama biryani, Apollo fish, and chicken dum biryani. The Falaknama biryani stood out with its unique flavor, featuring chicken pieces that tasted different, almost like they were kind of fried. I really enjoyed the combination of the chicken and rice, which was unlike any biryani I've had before from places like Royal Biryani House, Biryani Bowl, or Biryani and Pizza House. The rice was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and with just the right level of spices. If you're looking to try a new twist on biryani, Falaknama is definitely worth a try. The bommarillu special chicken biryani was good, but the Falaknuma biryani was my favorite. The Apollo fish, on the other hand, was also tasted good. From now on, whenever we visit Bommarillu, the Falaknama chicken biryani will be our go-to dish. They also offer golli soda in different flavors like jeera and lemon, which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is small, with about 4-5 tables, and I noticed that most people prefer to take their orders to go. The food seems to taste especially fresh and flavorful on weekends, likely because they get a lot of orders. Parking is available, which is convenient.

    Steaming hot gobi manchurian

Very tasty gobi manchurian! Their mango lassi was also very strong in fresh mango flavor and not overly sweet. The staff is very honest. I forgot my purse, and they kept it safe and returned it to me.

We order gongura mutton biriyani to go. The portion is a bit pricey but big enough for two. It was pretty tasty, but a word of caution even though we ordered mild it was very spicy , my wife had tears in her eyes but couldn't stop eating.

    It's safety is okay

Disappointed with the Bezeevada Biryani Ordered the Bezeevada Biryani expecting a flavorful meal, but unfortunately it missed the mark completely. The dish was extremely soggy--more like a tomato rice bath than biryani--and sadly lacked any real taste or aroma. Texture and flavor were both off, and for the price, I expected much better. After seeing the food safety board, I felt a little more reassured about the hygiene, but overall, it didn't feel like a good value. I really hope they pay closer attention to quality and taste in the future.

    Malai Soya Chaap
    Palak G.

Got the Malai Soya Chaap for to-go. And loved it. It was really delicious, soft and creamy. This was my first time trying this dish, which is why I have no point in reference. It had a touch of south indian flavor in the tadka (kadipatta, green chilies), so not sure if the north indians would like it. Service was quick. They have a shared restroom with the mexican store next to them. Parking was tight as the lot was small & full. The inside seating is small but looked clean. They were previously located on redmond way, but moved 6 months ago. They have many other options, will try next time!

    Samosa Paneer Biryani Garlic Naan
    Smooth T.

Overall, the flavors were there with the food, but the sauces were a huge disappointment. The sauces were very watery and oily. I was not impressed with the sauce, but the food was great!

SLOW and uninterested in good service or its customets. Main checker always has attitude and makes you feel as if its your privilleage to order or deliver from them. An Indian joint that posses as Romios Pasta of Italy. Plain, empty, no one ever seen dining in for good reason. If you want slow poor quality Indian from a rest. that rates OK from the county this is it!

    Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Rice
    Shelby G.

Having very little experience with Indian cuisine, we walked in and asked for recommendations - and boy they did not steer us wrong! We had the paneer butter masala and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and butter naan. It's a small hole-in-the-wall place with paper plates and plastic utensils, but the customer service and food are both incredible. They checked in to ask how the food was as we were eating to make sure we liked their suggestions. 5 stars, will recommend to everyone I know.

Bommarillu Special Chicken Biryani family order
    Dave K.

I ordered the Bom special biryani with the boneless chicken. Decided to take the risk on a family size order and took home to eat. We usually have our local option but this was a new place and on the way home. Well, we were pleasantly surprised as the biryani was flavorful and the chicken pieces were sufficiently flavorful and spicy. The portion is sufficiently sized and will last my family of 3 for another 2 days. So decent value for the price. The staff was friendly enough to answer my questions and responsive as well. I'd give it a try if you're in the neighborhood. I'll definitely come back to order something else another time and amend my review when I do.

The food is usually delicious, and the service is usually fine, but there always seems to be something that throws off our dining experience here. For example, we dined in last Sunday for dinner, and were promptly seated. We ordered the garlic naan to share, and our vegetarian friend ordered the Paneer Makhni. However, when the dish arrived, she took a bite and discovered that there were chicken pieces inside, and when we alerted the server, we didn't even receive an apology. They took away her plate, which had some rice and garlic naan, and gave her a new plate with a new order of the Paneer Makhni, and did not replace the rice and garlic naan that was lost due to their mistake. I feel that giving a vegetarian or vegan person a dish with meat is a huge mistake, and I was very disappointed by the lack of an apology and the lack of an effort to make things right. On the happy side, the garlic naan was tasty, and I personally ordered a chicken kabob dish that was covered in sauce, which was phenomenal. Another example is that for 3 or 4 visits, we interacted with the same server. He always greeted us with "ni hao" even though we are not Chinese. Even worse, on multiple occasions, after we paid for the food with credit card, he would make up some lie about how the card reader was broken for the tip portion, and he would ask for a cash tip that he pocketed. We've never had this issue with any other server, and I've even seen this guy tell other groups the same lie about the card reader not working for the tip portion, even though it worked fine for the main payment. In summary, although Kanishka seems to have some food quality control issues, the food is delicious, and the service can be a wide range from very poor to good.

The thali was presented in a wonderfully traditional manner, which immediately set the tone for the experience. There were 16 different items, and everything tasted authentic and thoughtfully prepared. The stars of the meal for me were the Bajri Raab and the Ghewar--both absolutely outstanding. The service was courteous, and we thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience. A couple of suggestions for improvement: when the thali is served, it would be helpful if the person presenting it could briefly explain each dish and perhaps suggest how certain items are traditionally paired or eaten. That would make the experience even more immersive, especially for those unfamiliar with Rajasthani cuisine. Also, the plate felt a bit small for the number of ramekins. There was very little room left for the rice, and the chutney and pickle kept sliding underneath the ramekins, making things a bit messy. A slightly larger plate would make the meal much more comfortable to enjoy. Finally, please continue hosting thali festivals featuring cuisines from different regions of India. That's a fantastic concept, and we'd love to return for more regional culinary experiences.
