I've done quite a few wine tastings over the years and was really looking forward to the small group experience promised by Bon Vivant. Man, was I disappointed. We were picked up late from our hotel and were only able to spend a little time at Chateau Ste Michelle before being rushed to our lunch reservation -- because we had missed our original tour time. After lunch we visited two small garage wineries that were charming, but unremarkable. After that our tour guide said she needed to get us back before traffic got bad since it was Friday. Only after one of the other people on our tour pitched a fit about only visiting three wineries did our guide relent. She then drove us _literally_ across a parking lot go to another garage winery. Our guide was clearly well known at the places we visited, but it felt like her kickbacks for bringing her groups there was taking precedence to our experience. I would not recommend spending $89 on this tour. Rent a car and go where you want instead.

My friend and I signed up for our first wine tour and randomly stumbled upon this company in a Google search. It turned out to be an excellent choice! Bob, the owner and driver, was in constant contact with us throughout the planning process and even picked us up at our hotel the morning of the tour. The vehicle is new, and fits ~12; it's more of a small shuttle than a van. The seats were leather and very comfortable for our short 20 minute ride from Seattle. The cost was $86.50 per person to be driven around from 9-5 to five different wineries in the Woodinville, WA area. This did not include the tip for the driver (Bob) or tasting fees at some wineries (which ranged from $5-10 per person). We were part of a 5-person group (tours are normally larger during the summer and we toured on the 1st of November). We visited: Chataeu Ste. Michelle, Columbia Winery, Novelty Hill/Januik, Facelli Winery, and one other which I cannot remember due to inebriation (oops)! Bob gave us plenty of time to tour, taste, and shop. The timing was perfect from one winery to another, with enough of a break to make sure we didn't drink *too* much. Lunch was at the Purple Cafe and Wine Bar - EXCELLENT food and great wine. This was also not included in the price of the tour, but the prices were decent the the food was PERFECT after a few wineries. We made great friends with an older couple whom we met for dinner later and again the next day at the space needle. Bob was very knowledgeable and down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and thoughtful.

We were suppose to visit 4 to 5 wineries. Visited one. The other 3 were just wine tasting rooms.

Bon Vivant was so much fun. My wife and I had a blast here and made sure to get some wine to go.

We had an awesome time on this tour today. It's a weekday so the tour itself was just me and my…read morehusband and another couple. We started at a bar near pike place market and tried two small servings of cocktails serving liquors from local distilleries. One was a negroni featuring gin from Copperworks and the other was a Moscow mule using hopped whisky from Three Howls. Next we drove to Copperworks where we got an in depth tour from one of the owners of their beautiful still. We tried four different liquors they make. Pours were pretty generous. Next up we went to another distillery that was also very nice and pleasant and last up was three howls that was awesome. Everyone we met was clearly really passionate about their craft and excited to have us come through. Our tour guide Jason told us a lot about the history and process of washington's distilleries. Id definitely go back on this tour or another with this group.

My friend and bought the Groupon for this tour for $39 per person. It advertised a tour of three…read morelocal distilleries, learning about the history of distilling and the process behind the creation of various spirits, and two tastings of vodka, gin, whiskey, or other drinks at each distillery. The tour guide was nice and very accommodating and the distilleries were fun and informative. However, the three distilleries we visited on our tour were each under one year old. So, we didn't get to try any whiskey because whiskey takes 2 years to distill. We tasted one gin at one distillery and the rest were vodka and vodka variations. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to learning about and tasting all three spirits. To make matters worse, two guys inquired about and then joined our tour at the first distillery. My friend watched them the whole time and said they didn't pay. That is not fair for everyone who did pay. I feel like we overpaid, even with the Groupon discount. We got a nice shot glass and t-shirt at the end of the tour, but I don't want to advertise for them. I suggest you forget the tour and visit the distilleries on your own. If you don't have a designated driver, just walk or take public transportation. The samples are pretty small anyway.

Daniel, who owns and operates Yonder Sky, picked us up at our hotel and we traveled with 5 others (total of 7 passengers) in a comfortable Mercedes van. Our first rest stop was 1 hour away, where he offered us delicious breakfast pastries and a surprisingly broad selection of beverages! We then traveled another hour to Mt. Rainier (all of this time flew by because of the great conversations we were having). Daniel took us to several different spots, including many waterfalls and into the old growth forest with a brief, guided walk. Our stop at Paradise was flexible, we could either follow him and hike to Myrtle Falls and get a closer view of Mt. Rainier, or spend the time however we liked. We ate a picnic-style lunch (chicken, noodle, salad, etc.) at a table in the park, which was great as well. Daniel made sure we were hydrated and really enjoying the trip. After a couple more stops, we headed back towards Seattle and he offered to drop us off at the hotels or wherever else in the area we preferred to continue our trip. This tour was wonderful and definitely one of the highlights during our trip. Daniel was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Everything felt comfortable, like going on a family trip or trip with friends rather than a tour. If you are thinking of booking a day tour, going with Yonder Sky is the way to go. We could not have imagined a better experience of Mt. Rainier!! PS- the views were so breathtaking that my photos look almost unreal, but I promise I took them during the tour!
