Our guide, Paul, personalized the tour for us. We were most interested in the historical aspects of the island. He told us stories about the settlement of the island and drove us to the different areas. Even though it was raining, we had a great tour and learned about Bainbridge. We also enjoyed the breathtaking views and land/seascapes. Our favorite stop was the Japanese Memorial.

Amazing day and great way to visit the island. Visited 2 wineries which we enjoyed thoroughly. Our guide/driver Paul was perfect.

The issue was not that the winery had expectations for a large group. The issue was the complete lack of communication and the way those expectations were handled. When we arrived, no one informed us that there was a minimum spend requirement or that our group needed to order a certain amount immediately. Several people in our group had already started ordering, including a bottle of wine and a glass of wine, and we were still settling the kids, reviewing the food options, and deciding what else to order. Within just a few minutes of sitting down, staff began pressuring us to order food. Shortly after that, another staff member approached us and told us we needed to clean up after ourselves and meet a minimum spend of around $500. None of this had been clearly stated before we sat down, and we were given no reasonable time to get organized as a group. If a winery has a large-party policy, minimum spend, or specific expectations for families with children, that should be communicated upfront, clearly and respectfully, before guests are seated. Instead, the interaction felt rushed, uncomfortable, and unwelcoming. We had every intention of ordering more wine and food, but the tone and handling of the situation made the experience feel transactional and unpleasant. Fletcher Bay may be a nice spot for smaller groups, but based on our experience, I would not recommend it for families or larger walk-in groups unless their policies are made much clearer and their hospitality improves.

Ambiance in here was quiet, dimmed lights, not too bright and very clean. Matt assisted me that day and was extremely informative overall. He is very patient and kept up with my conversation. You can tell Matt is passionate about the wines this place carries. He was very confident about each wine as he would introduce each pour (I did a wine tasting, including five different wines) I prefer red wine over white and usually more on the sweet side; to be exact- I do love Lambrusco wine. However, all the red wines that I tasted here were very delightful and worth it. Started off with a favorite "Sangiovese" from Walla Walla and Red Mountain 15% alcohol, smooth not too bitter for my likings and is one of the top choices. 5/5 Up next was "Redtail" A Right bank inspired blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Perfect for everyday sipping! Blend: 25% Merlot 61% Cabernet Sauvignon 14% Cabernet Franc) 15.3% alcohol This one would pair well with a nice steak to enjoy. 5/5 Continued with a glass pour of "Condor" Left Bank Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot Alcohol: 14.9% Another delicious red wine that pairs well with steak, grilled meat, BBQ due to the tannins in the red wine this tends to enhance the red meat well. 5/5 "Reserve Merlot" 100% Merlot 14.8% alcohol another delicious red wine pour. This wine is best enjoyed with pasta, seafood and poultry dishes. Very good and smooth as well. 5/5 "Petite Sirah" on the dry side, which Matt stated people aren't usually a fan of but for me, I am not a picky individual and I thought it was delightful for my likings. "Fruit from Kiona vineyard in red mountain" 100% Petite Sirah Thank you for the nice hospitality during my visit, it was worth it and for future reference, I will return here for my wine adventures next time.

We love to use them for a trip to a Cheney Stadium ballgame, we have also used their services for our wedding and a retirement party. It is nice to come home knowing you do not have to deal with traffic on the home. Not sure customer feedback is taken seriously. We have been regularly using another transportation company in Kitsap with personal door-to-door service. We thought we would give this business an opportunity. We booked and paid for a Cadillac Escalade for 2 with 4 large luggage pieces and 2 backpacks as we were headed out of the country for a few weeks. 15-minutes before pickup we received a call from the owner of the company telling us the Escalade was being repaired and a transit van was picking us up. At the time the driver was supposed to be at our doorstep, they called and told us they were running late because they had to fill up the vehicle with gas. They were 15 minutes late arriving. When we opened the front door to haul our own luggage out with barely any help, noticed it was a panel/passenger van that had the most unprofessional and ugly Space / Cosmic wrap around it. Definitely not the beginning we thought we paid for to start our luxury vacation. The driver nonstop talked the entire drive to the airport. I am not kidding when I say they barely stopped to take a breath. We got to hear a lot of personal life stories which certainly don't mind a personable experience, but it was definitely TMI. Then there was the jumping off the offramp to skirt ahead of slower traffic only to jump back on the on-ramp after the overpass, speeding with a near miss. We took our own luggage out of the van ourselves with the driver joking, with gratuity in hand, that they have learned to not rush to the luggage because most male customers would pull the luggage out themselves. Nice. A few weeks later, it was the night before our international flight home. We are nine hours ahead in London at our hotel, in bed, getting ready to sleep. We receive an E-MAIL (not text or call) from this company, office receptionist, that they are unable to pick us up the following day. We are literally overseas the night before our morning departure without a lot of time to find another service. The office clerk who emailed wanted to know if we wanted a refund or to leave a credit with Semperfi for future use?! They also indicated that they had "tried to find a driver" but were unsuccessful. If anyone has been stuck overseas in a different time zone, hours before their flight back home without a service to pick them up, they will understand the complete frustration and unprofessional service by this organization. At a very minimum Semper Fi, should've contracted with Uber to send us home from the airport. Stay away from this company, for us they were unprofessional, unreliable and did not deliver. Oh, one final concern is that the driver bad mouthed our other transportation service and gloated how great they were. Truthfully, and in the future, we would rather use Uber Black, or another personal chauffeur service. That night, when we thought we were stranded in London, we contacted our former transportation, chauffeur service, and without hesitation, they agreed to pick us up the following morning, thank goodness!

Daniel, who owns and operates Yonder Sky, picked us up at our hotel and we traveled with 5 others (total of 7 passengers) in a comfortable Mercedes van. Our first rest stop was 1 hour away, where he offered us delicious breakfast pastries and a surprisingly broad selection of beverages! We then traveled another hour to Mt. Rainier (all of this time flew by because of the great conversations we were having). Daniel took us to several different spots, including many waterfalls and into the old growth forest with a brief, guided walk. Our stop at Paradise was flexible, we could either follow him and hike to Myrtle Falls and get a closer view of Mt. Rainier, or spend the time however we liked. We ate a picnic-style lunch (chicken, noodle, salad, etc.) at a table in the park, which was great as well. Daniel made sure we were hydrated and really enjoying the trip. After a couple more stops, we headed back towards Seattle and he offered to drop us off at the hotels or wherever else in the area we preferred to continue our trip. This tour was wonderful and definitely one of the highlights during our trip. Daniel was kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Everything felt comfortable, like going on a family trip or trip with friends rather than a tour. If you are thinking of booking a day tour, going with Yonder Sky is the way to go. We could not have imagined a better experience of Mt. Rainier!! PS- the views were so breathtaking that my photos look almost unreal, but I promise I took them during the tour!
