The reason why I was led to Bona Fide originally was because of the good reviews on Yelp. In my opinion, good reviews as long as they're legit are the best way to gain further business. I got into an accident and went through Insurance to have my vehicle fixed. The job was done well cosmetically from what I could see. However, about a year and a half later, I had another incident and the second that my front bumper was damaged the paint immediately flaked and chipped away. When I brought my truck to two different shops to get quotes to have the work done, the FIRST THING out of both of the managers mouths at each shop was "Who painted your bumper"? When I tell you that it was the first thing out of both of their mouths I am not lying. I told them who it was, and that the reason I went to them was because they got such amazing reviews on Yelp. They both told me obviously that the bumper was not primed and prepped at all and that it was just simply painted. The bodywork, etc. that was done to my vehicle from what I can see was done correctly. I was not told otherwise. But the painting of my replacement bumper was half ass. You would expect that simple things like that are done correctly. I really wanted to leave them a good review and to be honest with you I wouldn't have known any difference had I not gotten into a second fender bender. But I'm glad that the other two mechanics pointed it out to me immediately. I had asked for a quote when I was there to fix a small dent in my trunk and I was quoted $1200 from Bona Fide. I found another gentleman that's been doing bodywork for 40 years and he did it for 250 bucks and did a phenomenal job. If you're gonna be a retail shop that charges retail prices you better do quality work front to back. read more

I woke up this morning ready to go fishing and when I opened the hatch on my Subaru Outback it was leaking inside. I knew exactly what the issue was and I called Bona Fide Auto and told them of what was going on with my car. They had me bring it down and see if they could work it in. The drain hose got clogged and not only leaks in the back but under the passenger seat it gets soaked. I told him not to worry about the soaked floor because I can take care of it at home. He had someone in training and offered to detail the inside of the car. Definitely took that deal. They gave me a ride home and I was able to make it to my fishing spot. When I returned my car was fixed and I want to give a huge shout out for whoever took care of the detailing. It was detailed inside and outside. :) I feel like they are very reasonable on the costs. Spent a lot of time searching around for a shop that has done work on high end cars. I wanted complete confidence before bringing in my 2013 Audi A5 for body work. I was rear ended and had some paint damage on my bumper that broke through the clear coat so I needed it repaired and repainted. Met with Carmine which I believe may be the shop owner. Really great guy, sincere, and passionate about his customers. Got my car back and the job they did was amazing and the paint match was perfect. It appears that they even went above and beyond by cleaning my interior. The carpets and seats looked freshly vacuumed, dash looked like it was wiped down. I can assume this when they cleaned the inside of my windshield right in front of me before taking my car back. I would give this place 5 stars, however they do work banking hours and not being open on Saturdays makes it extremely inconvenient for picking up and dropping off.
