Someone hit my car last year, and I was recommended to Michael's. The car sat on their lot for over two months, and less than 24 hours after picking it up, a tire sensor code came on. I had taken photos of the dashboard after the crash, and that tire sensor code was not lit up. Took it back to Michael's, they scanned it, and said all four of my tire sensors are bad, and needed to be replaced. I kept saying how is that possible, when they had the car for two months. Add to the fact that there is ZERO PROBABILITY of all four sensors going bad AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. I tried to be professional and diplomatic, and I tried to reason with them, but they kept insulting my intelligence and lying to my face. They took advantage of the fact that I was an older disabled female. My age, my gender, and my physical condition have nothing to do with the fact that I was not born yesterday. I made two mistakes in this situation that would end up costing me hundreds of dollars. The first is I used an auto body that was not certified through my insurance. This left the insurance with very little clout to intervene on my part, especially when this was an $11,000 job. The second mistake I made was being nice and thinking they were going to do the right thing by me, because I should have IMMEDIATELY filed a formal complaint with the DMV Fraud Unit, especially considering there is only a 90-day window to do such. The fact that the code blew less than 24 hours after picking up the car tells me that the code was was activated while they were working on the vehicle, they knew about it, and they cleared it when I picked it up. Since I live nearby and went straight home, I did not drive far enough for the code to come back on again, and that's why it immediately came on as soon as I started the car the next morning. So I hope they enjoy being dishonest business people, and they know what they can do with the $11,000 paid to them by the insurance company. Have a nice day. read more

My car was damaged by a neighbor who uses State Farm insurance. I find it is easier to use a body shop that is an authorized body shop for that carrier. I was not disappointed with Michael's. They switched my rental car from a small sedan with Enterprise to a large SUV from Hertz. That was just the start, Hertz brought the car to Michael's in the morning that I dropped off my car. They fixed my car in three days and it looks as good as new. I dropped of the rental car at Michael's and took my car home, it was easy and pain free. I highly recommend them. read more

i got rear ended pretty badly and they took my no fault case and fixed my car good as new . They even painted spots I didn't know needed painting . My car looks beautiful. After a very poor experience just obtaining an estimate from a local collision place, I decided to go the extra mile (12 miles away from my home). If I ever have an accident again, I am going back to Michael's. No question. Unparalleled professionalism, thorough, fair pricing and great turnaround time. You absolutely will not feel like you are being jerked around, at all. That was my experience at the 1st place I went to. Thrilled I took the chance to go to Michaels. The place I went to prior I had a stereotypical experience. Woman walks into auto collision place, mechanic sees dollar signs and jacks up the price and the work. At Michaels, the 1st thing you notice on the walls of their reception area are all the thank you cards and letters. Reading then I was impressed and more at ease with the decision to go there. Then I was greeted by Mark, who first asked me was I OK. Considerate. He escorted me to my car, asked very specific questions as to what happened and how it was driving. Took lots of photos, explained what it could be and what we hoped it would be, and had a emailed estimate detailing it by the end of the day. Price was fair, options were outlined (E.g. New paint or buff scratches) and estimated turnaround time was spot on. As I said, I hope to never need an auto collision place again...but if I do, we will return. read more

This is my second review.My car was done in four days,Michael,Steve and 2 Employees stayed till almost 8PM on a Friday to finish up my car,Michael called me to inform me on Monday that I did not have rental insurance,giving me the option of returning it,I decided to keep it and pay full price,knowing that.they finished my car on Friday, saving me 3 days of rental fees.I don't know of many businesses that would care about their customers like that! Car looks better than it did before the accident,New fender looks perfect,headlights polished to perfection,beautiful shine on the whole car,Vacuumed and there was no weird body shop smells in the interior like I've experienced bringing my car to other shops in the past. State Farm gave me three options for their "select service" preferred auto shops and I chose this one after searching online and discovering the following review at merchantcircle.com: "I have had my cars repaired at Michael's several times over the past 20+ years. I brought the car in for an initial estimate and they got it done in under 15 minutes. I would have given five stars but had to wait over two weeks between the initial estimate and the scheduled repair (or maybe this is unfair since it might take that long to get parts?). Anyway, the incident causing me to come here happened on March 28th, I dropped the car off on April 22 and picked it up on April 25th. Looks better than before it got hit! They even polished out some marks on the clear-coat for me and offered to investigate what the finnicky intermittent check-engine-light was about. Michael's has been around a long time and my family has used this auto body shop for multiple cars. Service is super honest and thorough, you will not be disappointed. A family friend had a bad car accident and was originally told his car was NOT totalled. When he took it to Michael's, they assessed the damage and selflessly admitted that it was indeed totalled! This honesty means they gave up the business they would have gotten doing all of the work this car needed, but ultimately was better for our friend who took his car there. Extremely fast service. Went into the shop looking for an estimate on a replacment of my rear bumper on a Wed., and they had the job complete on Friday. They were very flexible in their scheduling to meet my time demands. If the time between the estimate and the scheduled work seems too long, tell them that you need it done faster and they might work with you. When I brought it in on Wed, they initially said the earliest they can start working on it was the following Tues. I told them that was too long, and then they told me to bring it in the next day (thurs). The job was done on Fri, 4 days before they initially wanted me to bring it in for service. Since this job was paid for by the insurance company of the person who rear ended me, I can't speak much to the price they charged since I did not shop around to compare prices to other places. To get a new rear bumper for a 13 Elantra, have it painted and mounted, the job cost about $2,000. read more

I've had my car repaired here once before and they did great work so I went again because its hard to find a shop that is consistent. I got rear ended and Mike got me in and out in three days. When I came to pick up my car I noticed that the bumper did not look familiar and brought it up to one of the workers in the office. They quickly brought out my old bumper and matched it up and saw that they were in fact different trim levels. My car has several trim levels and none of them are specified clearly. After some pictures and paperwork look up Mike brought me to the back to show me what he ordered and what was available. The pictures on the software's website were identical and did not show a difference so I could see how there was some confusion. Mike called several of his suppliers to find out what bumper was needed and after some quick hunting, he tracked down the right bumper. He let me leave with the other bumper on and with a handshake told me he would call me when the other one was in. Only a few days later he had the correct bumper painted and the guys got it switched out in only a few magazine page turns, (I was impressed since in my experience, takes far longer) no corners were cut in that quick time though. The fender liner was securely fastened in all locations that I thought couldn't have been done that quickly. If you want a reliable shop go here.
