Been to three other folks in Mt Sinai and Miller Place for major and minor car accidents (other driver t-boned my wife at 40MPH. Hit a deer, and got rear ended) Net net they all were very difficult to deal with and jerked the bill up to make more revenue (from the insurance companies) and then results were very disappointing. Perfection was perfect and pleasant and gave us the straight scoop and kept us informed and was honest and trustworthy. I have always now on multiple (sadly with 5 drivers) visits had to go back and they have made me feel like a valued customer and I dont think of them as agents for the insurance company just taking and making as much money on the accident as they can!! My car had extensive side damage when a kid pulled out from the curb, catching my rear quarter panel, both doors and part of the front fender. My truck was stuck in a parking lot. I brought it into Mike G's Perfection Auto Body Shop. I met Mike and he personally assessed the damage and gave me an estimate on the spot. He then gave me a your of the shop, describing how and what will be done. The place was busy with a lot of collision and restoration work; all beautifully done. Let me tell you about Mike, I just met him that day, he is an instantly likeable guy who is honest, stands by his work and truly takes pride in not only his shop and work, but the customer service he delivers. He was fair with the price and the work was exceptional, perfectly matched and blended. I had one minor issue after picking it up, I was getting a sound that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from after the work was done. I called him and he said that he will work around my schedule, not his. Amazing! When I brought it in, Dan took it for a test drive had trouble locating the sound. He worked on it for hours until he found the problem; ordered new parts and installed them around my schedule. In business, things like this sometimes happen; I get that. What really matters is how the company handles it. I can truly say that Mike G. Perfection Auto body has exceptional customer service, professionalism and finished product second to none. Can't say enough about this man and his business. Had a run in with a raccoon. Couldn't believe the damage. Mike is honest, genuine, did great work, and has a pleasant staff who communicated with me throughout the process. Got my car back in better condition than when it arrived. Not only was it repaired, but cleaned! He even went to bat for me with the insurance company to get coverage for parts that were needed.
