I ordered an egg, ham, and cheese on a roll along with a freshly made smoothie, and both were outstanding. The sandwich was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want for a classic deli breakfast sandwich. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I returned on our last day and grabbed another sandwich to take on the plane home. Friendly service, quality ingredients, and great execution. If you're in the area, Smith Gourmet Deli is definitely worth a stop.

I miss Bonafide so much. I recently moved out of Cobble Hill and this is one of those places that I have not been able to replace. Aside from their coffee being great, their food is always fresh. The "Honey Club" is my favorite because it has avocado. They also have a lot of unique and healthy snacks like stuffed grape leaves and organic carrot cake (YUM!). I suggest that everyone stop by if they are in the area. I will definitely be stopping by in the summer to pick up a sandwich and eat it by the Brooklyn Promenade. (I use to see tourists park their Citi bikes at Bonafide - now I will have to be one of these ) read more

How can anyone give this place a one-star review??? By far cleanest and nicest Deli I've been to in that area. I eat there all the time and have never been dissapointed. They have a great and unique sandwich selection ( I get the Italian, unbelievably good). This place can't get much better ( actually, maybe if they were open 24 hours). P.S. I'm there almost everyday and have never seen a roach - always presented as a clean place so don't even listen to these random reviews. read more
