WILLIAMSBURG Street Art.

Beverage. GOOD. Parched with thirst I made a pit stop to grab a Drink. Didn't realize at the time that the DELI supposedly has a GOOD Chopped Cheese Sandwich. Conveniently located on one of WILLIAMSBURG'S main strips. RECOMMEND.

Someone told me to try chopped cheese in New York. This was a random shop I came across, so I stopped in. They made me the $9 sandwich in less than 10 minutes. It was pretty bomb. They also cut it in half for me and wrapped it in foil.

My first time having a chop cheese sandwich. It tasted like what I imagine a chop cheese sandwich would taste like. Cheesy, hamburger, with tomato and Mayo on a bun. I'm from Sf, so bodegas and chop cheese sandwiches are not common in the Bay Area. Yummy for a quick $9 cheap eats sandwich. Would like to check out another bodega next time I'm visiting.

My husband loves bodegas in NYC, this became our morning spot for BECs each morning, changing it up slightly every day, pepper Jack on a roll is the way to go! Even on our short stay we made friends with the cashier. The chopped cheese we got one afternoon for lunch though was fire! Best chopped cheese we've had!!

I would definitely order more food from the deli because the food is so tasty plus they got every single beverage

Spicy Chicken Cutlet with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and American cheese on a roll.

Good spot for a solid bodega sandwich and assorted groceries you need in the middle of the night. They use real bacon! This place is one of the many corner stores in the recently gentrified Williamsburg, and I hope that never changes. Sandwich chef is Hispanic so you know he will listen when you say make it spicy.

Pizza bagel. Looks can be deceiving, this was amazing.

Bomb BEC bagels with perfect ratio of each ingredient and chopped cheese. Everything bagels tend to sell out earlier in the day FYI.

I ordered a chicken fajita wrap, and it was so good! The detox drink is also delicious. Those good foods made my NYC trip even better.

3.5 stars I came to…read moreFarmer in the Deli cause of the hype it has on social media for thier viral chopped sandwhiches. I arrived and of course thier was a line. I waited for about 45 minutes, while waiting I picked up my chips and a white peach ginger ale. I also talked to the girl in front and she explained that you can get your sandwhich on a hero or roll. I ordered a chopped honey turkey with onions, pickles, lettuce and mayo. The guy who made my sandwich was soo friendly and patient. I just put my trust in him to hook it up lol. He also asked if I wanted to add the chips and I did. Overall my sandwhich was better the next day after it firmed up. The flavor was good but the texture was soft, mushy and just not what I want in a turkey sandwhich. It ran me about 12.00 and it was worth the experience.

The original name was called laurose and tuna salad chopping has been happening for over four decades. My fort green family really know what it is. My cousin and I stopped by yesterday and picked up a couple of heroes. I had to get my beef salami and 3 pepper colby jack cheese, extra mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, on a whole wheat hero (10.99) . Much love to a family staple for years. Definitely a place for you to pick up a sandwich that won't break the bank.

If that's not the most Brooklyn thing ever, I don't know what is. Same sandwiches, different blessing. Everybody says order the pastrami, so I listened like a grown man should. Pastrami on rye with spicy mustard absolutely slapped. Smoky, juicy, perfectly stacked, and messy enough to ruin your shirt with honor. Then came the beef brisket on rye with a cup of au jus for dipping... and brother, that dip should be studied by scientists. Pure perfection. Washed everything down with a Dr. Brown's root beer like it was 1957. No fake trendy nonsense. No deconstructed sandwiches. Just old-school deli greatness that punches you directly in the soul. Great food doesn't care where you come from -- it just brings everybody to the same table. That's New York. That's Brooklyn.

I…read morefirst heard of this place featured on Diners Drive ins and Dives, the place looked super old school and a classic sandwich shop, more recently I heard of this place from George Motz talking about the roast pork sandwich. I went with two friends so were able to try three different sandwiches and to be honest, they were all just alright. The food: Roast Pork Special- Fried Eggplant, Provolone, Broccoli Rob- The texture of the pork came off a bit dry, the eggplant was good but kinda gets lost in the sandwich so if I literally had it on it's own I would have appreciated it more but who eats fried eggplant by itself? The rob was nice it added a nice crunch but didn't offer that much flavor. Giuseppe Special- Eggplant parm, meatballs, melted mozzarella. I couldn't get over how soggy the bread was. It was like wet paper towel to me. Soggy bread and everything kinda tasting the same made it underwhelming. Nicky Special- It just tasted like salad in between bread. There was so much veg, that was the main thing I remember in that sandwich.
