Brought our horse aluminum trailer in for the ramp to get fixed. We were quoted btwn 1k and 1500k. Of course the quote ended up asking $1500. Got a quote from D2 trailers for $600. So we decided to take the horse trailer to D2. Bonander had worked On the ramp for an hour and charged us $125 for their effort that actually made the ramp worse. This is not good business practice. BAIT and SWITCH artist. WHEELS ARE COMING OFF THE TRAILER. I bought a dump trailer from Bonander trailer from the Bakerfield location it was a disaster. I wanted a 5000# dump trailer, and it was quoted as $5800 out the door. When I got there, they sold me a dump trailer that was damaged, and they were working to repair it. First, they quoted me $5800 and suddenly it's $6000. When I get home, I couldn't get the tailgate open it was damaged and out of alignment. I ended up having toing to weld a piece of unistrut on a supposedly new trailer to make the tailgate work. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, after I made several trips with my dump trailer, I heard a grinding noise coming from the trailer. The noise was coming from the drivers side rear axel. When we pulled the spindle cover, we noticed the spindle nut about half a thread from coming off the axel. THE RETAINING CLIP WAS MISSING! Another trip with my trailer could have been a disaster. I was in Turlock for work, and suddenly my front bumper of my Nissan versa was scraping against my front tire. I checked it out and the bumper was just falling off. I called the nearest Nissan dealership, but it was in Modesto, and I was too afraid to drive it back another 20 minutes if the bumper is hanging. The dealership recommended this place, so I called and was told to drive right over. The mechanic was so nice. I showed him what happened. He immediately took my car into the shop, and about 15 minutes later, he was done. He even screwed my license plate back in place even though that had been hanging on for dear life for awhile. He didn't charge me, and I was on my way. This is such a nice repair shop. Too bad I don't live in Turlock, otherwise, I'd get all my car repairs done though them. read more

Working on older motor homes is tough. Real tough. There are many places that won't do the chassis work any more due to the age of the coach. Roy (I think he's the shop manager) worked with us while we got parts for our 1998 Fleetwood Southwind 36Z. The shear springs on our tag axle were shot (sheared in half), we had two broken shocks, and the leaf spring bushings had deteriorated. The RV had a significant lean to one side and was so low in the back that the gravel skirt was dragging on the road. On the road it was a challenge to handle and the ride was very poor. We initially went to replace the shear springs, drive axle shocks, and tag axle shocks. Roy and his team discovered the other (significantly) worn leaf spring bushings. The front and rear, the ones with the shackle, on both sides were toast! The entire process did take a couple of weeks, but we entered this knowing that it was doing to take some time. Roy and his team did manage to get us out in time for the 4th of July outing we had prepaid for. They also managed to keep the fees to within reasonable range of their quoted estimate and they did a fantastic job. So far, we're very happy with the professionalism, quality of work, and customer service. We highly recommend Bonander to any of our Fleetwood friends! read more

I bought 4 trailers from keith. The last trailer i bought was a mess. Doors were not closing properly, the tarp did not work, it was all scratched, and my tire fell of the side where the spare goes, i took it back to get repaired and KEITH,,,, said he going to put new doors on, fox the tarp, and fix all scratches. When i picked it up 10 days later he lied to me and said he did all repairs. Only thing he did was re weld the tire mount. LIED to the warrantee dept . And said he did all repairs. He was cought lying to the people that feed him. So dissapointed. Never going to pj to buy a trailer again. After being told by several places that they couldn't look at my RV's AC problem for 1-2 weeks, we were beside ourselves halfway through our vacation of a lifetime as a retired couple. We stopped at Bolanders to plead for help in 100+ degree and the only AC was being generated by the camper part of our motor home of which the engine was continually over heating due to the AC being out of commission. Even though they were extremely busy, John, the service writer, went to bat for us and talked to Bryan the service manager, who immediately moved us ahead of everyone else. Rick, our mechanic, diagnosed the problem and parts were ordered for overnight delivery. We were allowed to stay in our camper on their lot under the only tree in sight. As promised, Rick got started by 10:am and had us ready to roll by 1:00. Rick is one the most competent mechanics I've ever seen and everyone was terrific. Stay Away from this shop. Dropped my 2011 International Prostar in for AC repair compressor was not staying on and engine fan was staying on to much. After two days $1,160.00 later. Still had same problem. And very BAD workmanship filter was left out, high and low pressure switch was cut and left open with wire cut in half and left. Bolts that hold the ac hose were missing and they used zip ties in the place where bolts were. Yes after taking it back the following Monday they made it right after telling them that the same person was not to ever touch my truck again. How ever the AC was working but when I picked it up now the Engine brake, traction control. tractor ABS. and Trailer ABS lights were all staying on and no jake brake at all. After they looked at the fuse panel I was told they could not do anything about it. That I had to take it to the International dealer. after the dealer checking codes they found out that Bonander had moved breakers in places that had nothing and left them out of where they belonged and left some just laying on their side not plugged it. Total of 3.5 days $1.160.00 I Wont ever be back. read more
