Entire staff unprofessional and rude, especially Chris. After how I was treated, I'd recommend anywhere else.

Getting in and out was fairly decent, Saturday drop off's were an amazing help. That's the only…read morereason it's not a 1 star. I brought my Peterbilt in for squeaky brakes. They showed me pictures of my drums showing signs of excessive heat. This did not prompt the technician to look at my rear brakes or any form of root cause analysis. I was just sold a brake job and sent it on my way. I asked the service advisor before I left. Did that prompted to look at the rear? He left me with "I would have yeah" and would not elaborate. I checked the rear myself come to find out my push rod was 1/4 inch past the "out of service" legal limit. This compared to the front pushrod, had my front brakes doing majority of the work, it was likely root problem. I only brought this to a dealer despite knowing it had a more expensive price tag, because I " knew he would get done right". Unfortunately, I was proven wrong.

Brought the 2006 Kenworth 3 axle 4000 gallon water tender here for repairs after finding some…read morethings that needed to be fixed during inspection. After two weeks and $3000, they had taken some play out of the drive shaft(with a shim), fixed the wiper switch(contacts were dirty), and repaired a wheel seal. I'm not sure if I will bring the truck back to this shop because of how long it took. Time is money and with the truck being down that long during fire season, I lost revenue. There is a driver lounge with vending machines and ice, which is great for minor repairs that can be done in a short amount of time. For a shop that is open 13 hours a day, I guess I expected the job to be completed quicker. There are other things that needed to be fixed and I just couldn't wait any longer because the truck was reordered for the same fire that we brought it in from. I would expect to give more stars had the repairs been done sooner.

From the sales person to the finance person. We were recommended by a previous employee who no longer works here. He advised us we would be in good hands. Sales person knew nothing about the truck. When asked questions in regards to process etc. he didn't know. His response is always "we are busy". You're busy because of customers like us coming here. However the lack of attention to details and poor communication has made this process not a great one. Everyone PLEASE pay attention to what they request and want. Non disclosure on lots of items. Such as the financing part of it. You put a down payment and they add on extra fees in addition to what you're paying. As an example your truck is 100k down payment is 50k you will have to still pay on the 50k in addition to another 50k. Technically you're paying 150 for your truck. Will never recommend this place to anyone!

My RV was held hostage for a week due to this shop's very poor communication. My vacation came to…read morean abrupt stop during the first leg of our trip as my RV was leaking coolant. Went to the Delta Truck Center for a diagnosis around 9 am. Upon check in Luis was very helpful taking our information and listening to our concerns, understanding that we were travelling in the RV and would be waiting while the repairs were done, Luis said that he would be contacting us once the diagnosis was complete. We never heard from Luis again. around 3 pm we saw our RV being pulled from the garage to the parking area and the mechanic walking to the office with some paper work, anticipating a call at any moment we waited over an hour before I finally walked into the office and asked for the status. By this time a new shift had started and my paperwork had just been sitting with no action. After finding my paperwork I was told that I needed parts that had to be ordered and would be coming from Las Vegas, with a freight charge of $100 (two small fittings and seals for the Coolant Air Compressor, all items can fit in the palm of your hand) and two business days. I checked on the status two days later and was told that the order was JUST placed and the parts would arrive by the following Friday, an entire week later! Frustrated with Delta Truck Center I set out to find the needed part myself. It took just one search to Cummins, 60 miles away, who had the parts and would be available Tuesday. I drove up the Sacramento, picked up the parts, took them to Delta Truck center only to be told that the parts that they ordered had arrived, and unfortunately no one reached out to me to inform me of the status. So now its Tuesday night and they began work on my rig. After a short time I was told that the diagnosis was wrong and I needed two coolant lines. The next morning around 7:30 am, I received the updated estimate with included 10 hours of labor to install the coolant lines. I approved the work and once again Luis assured me that the work would be started immediately. After several hours of waiting I walked back into the office to check on the status, I was told that I had been put on hold until the second shift arrived at 3:30, even though I had check in at 7:30 in the morning, and had been dealing with this issue for an entire week. The mechanic who worked on my rig took less than an hour to make the repairs, he along with the Foreman didn't understand why they held the work until the later shift. Needless to say that this was a nightmare all due to Delta Truck Center's horrible internal communication. Each person that I delt with was very nice and professional, the problem is that as they hand off to the next person, the communication fails. Unless YOU know to follow up YOURSELF their system will let you down. I (my RV) was held hostage for and entire week all due to poor diagnosis and poor communication. The part I needed was in the shop the entire time and would have taken a couple hours to complete. Absolutely POOR MANAGEMENT. Shame on you Delta Truck Center.
