I would not recommend this service department. When I first brought my vehicle in for a coolant leak and radiator replacement, I felt pressured into additional services totaling nearly $1,000 that were unrelated to the issue I came in to fix. I made it clear that I only wanted the coolant leak repaired. The radiator was replaced, but about a week and a half later my vehicle overheated. It was later determined that there was air trapped in the cooling system after the radiator replacement. The sloshing sound I reported was evidence of an air pocket that had not been properly bled from the system. This air pocket caused the vehicle to overheat, which led to the failure of the water pump and thermostat. Despite this, the dealership denied responsibility and insisted that the water pump and thermostat failing so soon after the radiator replacement was simply a coincidence. I strongly disagree. The overheating occurred because the cooling system was not properly serviced after the radiator replacement, creating a chain reaction of failures that resulted in additional repairs and expenses. What was most frustrating was the lack of accountability. Instead of taking ownership of the problem, management was dismissive and argumentative. I was left without my vehicle, missed several days of work, and ended up paying for repairs that I believe could have been avoided if the original repair had been completed correctly. I was also told that a quality control inspection would take two days during the second repair visit. This raised an obvious question: if quality control was so important the second time, why was it not performed thoroughly after the initial radiator replacement? If everything had been done correctly the first time, I should not have been back with an overheating vehicle shortly afterward. The only positive part of my experience was Robert, who was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, my interactions with Service Manager Aric and Marcus were disappointing. Both were rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to listen to legitimate customer concerns. Overall, this was a frustrating, costly, and stressful experience. Poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and unprofessional management are why I would strongly discourage others from bringing their vehicles here. read more

Bought a new Jeep a few years ago from this dealership and have had multiple problems with it ever since. Have had to take it in to get fixed multiple times over the past few years. Each time I have to deal with the service dept, it has been a nightmare. Horrible communication and very unfriendly. They don't inform you that they need to keep your vehicle for longer than they originally said. You have to call multiple times to even speak to anyone. When calling, don't even bother pressing 3 for service. Press 1 for sales. They answer every time. Then you have to have the sales team, walk over to service dept and tell them to call you back. Even then, they will take hours to call you back, just to let you know your car isn't ready and they need to keep it another day. Most of the service dept employees are rude and act like you are ruining their day by just being there. Trust me, I don't want to be there, but have to because the car I was sold was a brand new piece of junk. When I got my vehicle back last time, it looked like they parked it next to a sprinkler and water spots everywhere, grease was smeared over the rear quarter panel and my tan leather seats and armrest had black grease on it. I wanted to turn around and make them clean it, but I would rather not do anymore business with them. I just did it myself, because I'm sure they would screw that up too. I already take my jeep somewhere else for oil change service, and now I will be taking it elsewhere next time I need something fixed, because I'm sure this isn't the last time something goes wrong with this piece of junk Jeep. Poor communication and inconsistent messaging from service department. I wasted time out of my day, and my company's day, to bring my work vehicle in for service. I was told one thing during scheduling over the phone - that it may be a long wait during the day, but they will at least be able to take a look at it and tell me what my options are. So I pack my work items for the day, prepared to work remotely in their waiting room while the truck is serviced. I drive an hour and 15 minutes there, show up, and am told that they now need my truck for over a week to assess a potential hole in the muffler. A ridiculous waste of time, no willingness to do right by me or offset the inconvenience in any way. I would not recommend this dealership. If you can go somewhere else, do it. read more

I've been going to Central Valley Chrysler since purchasing my vehicle in 2017, regularly servicing my vehicle there. Today, I went in for an oil change using a 2 for $130 oil change coupon directly from the dealer's website. The service advisor, Nathan Birdsong, told me they don't accept Mopar coupons, despite the coupon coming from their own web site. Just to be clear, this is from the Central Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram website, not Mopar or Chrysler's national website. I explained that I've always used these exact offers since purchasing the vehicle. You pre-purchase 2 or 3 oil changes at a time depending on the current offer. Despite this, Nathan insisted they hadn't accepted them for a long time. I pushed back on why this coupon would be on their website if they didn't honor it, and he said it wasn't that they didn't honor it, but that I had to purchase a service contract from Mopar and then it wouldn't cover the entire cost of the oil changes. The coupon came directly from Central Valley Chrysler's site, not Mopar, and clearly states it covers up to 6 quarts of oil per change, filter, and inspection. If you don't want to honor a national coupon, I have no problem with that. It's very common to see "at participating locations" on offers. But when you list an offer on your own website, you should either honor it, or not list it. I requested to speak with the service manager or GM, but neither was available. I find these practices deceptive and dishonest. As a retail business owner myself, I can't understand how a reputable dealership can advertise an offer on their own website and then refuse to honor it. I took my brand-new 2025 Ram 2500 Limited to the very Dodge/ Ram dealership where I purchased it just recently. It currently has under 3500 miles, At the time of sale, I pointed out several other issues with the truck, and the sales team promised me the world--exceptional post-sale support, quick resolutions for any problems, and top-tier customer service as part of buying a high-end Limited model from them. Instead, I brought it in for multiple previously acknowledged concerns, including a serious water leak into the cab from under the dash on the driver's side. This has soaked the carpet (which I've spent two weeks drying out--it's still damp to this day), with visible water actively dripping from under the dash during rain. This isn't minor; it risks mold growth, electrical damage, ruined interior components, and major long-term issues on a vehicle that's essentially new. When I dropped off the truck and detailed the symptoms clearly, service advisor Nick Wharton immediately asked if I'd left a window down in the rain. Seriously? With water actively dripping from under the dash (not from doors or windows), the initial response was outright skepticism rather than genuine help. I understand they need to replicate issues, but this dismissive tone was a bad sign right away. They held the truck for two days and called to say it was ready because they "could not confirm a water leak." At pickup, Nick explained they used their "rainmaker" machine to test it, I asked what that was, and it's clear they have this specialized equipment because water leaks are common enough in Rams (including recent models) to justify it. Yet they still couldn't (or wouldn't) find the problem. I specifically mentioned that my driveway is canted toward the street and I back in, so the truck sits nose-down--replicating that angle might be key to seeing the leak flow properly through drains or channels. His reply? "We don't get paid to do that." Unbelievable customer service for a premium truck under full warranty, especially from the dealership that sold it to me with big promises. To top it off, as I was leaving, another rep who had overheard our conversation followed me out to the truck and apologized for Nick's behavior. Nick had earlier claimed he personally checked the carpet and felt no moisture. Right then, I lifted the mat in front of the other rep, he felt it and immediately acknowledged "wet carpet." That moment confirmed everything I'd been saying and made me believe Nick either didn't check properly or outright lied about it. Water leaks into the cab (especially driver's side from pillars, seals, clogged cowl drains, windshield areas, or related paths) are a well-documented issue on many Ram trucks, including recent and heavy-duty models like the 2500, based on numerous owner reports across forums. Dealerships see this enough to have tools like the rainmaker, yet here the effort was minimal, attitudes were poor, and the problem was ignored. I left with the same unresolved leak that could destroy the interior over time. This experience was disrespectful, incompetent, and a complete betrayal of the promises made when I bought the truck there. Avoid this dealership for anything beyond basic service, I'll be escalating to Ram corporate immediately, documenting all evidence (photos, videos, notes from the visit), and taking my future business elsewhere. I left with a 960 dollar bill and a 7700 estimate to fix it all and once I got my car home I found my upper intake bolts Cracked from them removing it for a test. I called the manager and all he could do was to split a used intake at 150 from each of us. I had a super long review I was gonna leave detailing all of the experience but it wasnt gonna make it better. ​at this point, I question most of the work they did due to the quality of communication and met timeslines of work I received. After he was done with the him, I explained why I was here. The employee stated I needed to go to the next office over. I walked into the next office, there was an male employee at the first desk, Aric Malberg, he was intensely working on initialing paperwork. It wasn't long before he said, someone will be with you. There was another male employee assisting a customer at the end, I waited. Then another male employee entered, Justin Guest. Justin asked, How can I help you? I walked to his desk/counter explaining I had scheduled an appointment to have a part/repair done regarding a safety recall on my Renegade. He looked at me so confused . He takes my key, we walk out to my Renegade....he looks at me and say you need something out of the car, yes. After getting my book I walk around my Renegade to where he is scanning the bar code on the inside of the driver's door frame. Aric Malberg says, thats what I was about to say. Then he starts to talk...at this point I have no desire to speak to anyone. I wait for Justin Guest to return. Justin Guest comes in begins doing paperwork on the recall. While he is working on it an older male employee wearing a white Central Valley Chrysler polo shirt walks in. wow Justin Guest's tone and demeanor totally changed. He is being polite and professional, he hands me paperwork, I signed he says, it takes about an hour and half however it may roll into two. We'll do our best. We exchanged the usual thank yous. I waited in their waiting room (which has a pretty cool coffee machine) for 2.25 hours. When I got in my Renegade my cameras had been unplugged and a part laying in floor. I went back in, found Justin. I showed him the part. Justin said he would get a technician for me. I walked back to my Jeep to wait, with in minutes Justin came out. It took him a few minutes but he figured out where the part went and attached it. I asked him why all my camera plugs had been unplugged and hanging. He said the recalled part was behind and under the front seats. The technicians probably had to push the front seats all the way to the front. They probably unplugged to move the seats up. His demeanor and tone were short . I would NOT recommend the Central Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM service package. You cannot use it at any other location. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Very poor commutation from the service department. They do not honor scheduled appointments. I dropped my car off for a simple known issue. Still charged me for a mandatory diagnostic fee of $230. My car was left unattended for four days before they say they looked at it. Four days with an appointment that is. I called and texted several times for an update on my vehicle with no response. When I was able to speak with someone he was very snarky like I was bothering him. In the end I would never buy another car from here simply because of the service department. Since this is who I will be dealing with. I'll take my money elsewhere. read more

My service technician Justin Guest was so unprofessional, called me to argue with me cause I told his boss he was horrible at communicating and never returns call. They had our car for a total of 3 1/2 months. Drove my car there and ended up getting it towed back with the engine in my trunk. Left my window down, seats all wet due to rain, and left grease all over the car. The only one who was able to actually help me and give me great service and help me get my car out of there was Jonathan from sales...not even from service and he went above and beyond even hand delivered my refund check. Wow!! Make sure after you get a quote from these guys that you immediately call other places to compare prices. I had my front brakes and rotors changed at another local shop for $380. These guys wanted almost $1,200. This place does some big time price gouging to the customers. Beware!! One guy when I was standing in line was quoted $7,200 worth of work over the phone. I told the guy helping me that nothing costs that on a car, not even the engine. Terrible service department. They do not value you as a customer nor do they value your time. I called ahead and made sure parts were in stock for a recall on my vehicle. Once confirmed I booked my appointment online. I show up on my day off to drop off just to be told by the lady at the service desk who seems to be assisting the gentleman at the service desk next to her, "Oh I called you to tell you that we may not have the parts. Oh no, I didn't call you, I don't have your phone number." Yet when I made the appointment I put both my cell and email down and got an email and text confirmation, which I even responded to. I know parts are in stock when I called to confirm. Plus, if you did end up using the parts for another vehicle, why did you not order it for my confirmed appointment? The gentleman then says we could still drop off today but they may not get my vehicle back until next week because they may have to drill out some rivets which would take too long. This tactic may work on someone who doesn't have vehicle repair knowledge but if you know how long it actually takes to drill even 20 rivets out, it's not long. They even tried telling the gentleman ahead of me who also had an appointment, that replacing a ball joint and an alignment on a challenger is an all day job and that they would also have his vehicle back next week. That is a 3 hour job at most even if you're taking your sweet time. This place just likes to waste your time and give you an excuse to why they can't get your vehicle done in a timely manner. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a travel trailer to take our kids camping. We were looking for a truck that was capable of pulling our new trailer safely and had room for our four kids. We went to Central Valley Ram just to kick some tires and get an idea of what the 2500 could offer. When walking into the dealership for more information, we met Nasir. We were originally thinking we wanted something new, with a gas engine and less options. After listening to our wants and what the truck would be used for Nasir pointed us to two used trucks with a few more options including a diesel engine. Nasir was very knowledgeable about the trucks, but was in no way pushy. Nasir gave us the space to do things in our time and we really appreciated that. When negotiating, Nasir presented our offer to the manager who was willing to work with us. After our purchase Nasir when above and beyond to personally schedule the install of the bed liner and another service purchased (it was super convenient to just work with Nasir and not be told to contact the service department). After I had the truck for a few weeks, Nasir called me to check in and make sure we were liking the truck.
