[[HIGHLIGHT]]I was so satisfied with my Jeep and Megan was very very helpful and she made sure that everything went through for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had some steps we had to go through. But she was right there hands-on handling her job. Satisfying me to the best advantage that she could as she did. She most definitely did her big one so if there's anybody interested in a jeep central Valley Chrysler Jeep. Is the place as she is your girl? I'm so excited and very much in love. It was the best birthday gift to self ever and also working with a wonderful young lady. and here's to the future

This is the offer I'm referring to in the review. As of this writing, it's still listed on their own website (the local dealer site).

I've been going to Central Valley Chrysler since purchasing my vehicle in 2017, regularly servicing my vehicle there. Today, I went in for an oil change using a 2 for $130 oil change coupon directly from the dealer's website. The service advisor, Nathan Birdsong, told me they don't accept Mopar coupons, despite the coupon coming from their own web site. Just to be clear, this is from the Central Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram website, not Mopar or Chrysler's national website. I explained that I've always used these exact offers since purchasing the vehicle. You pre-purchase 2 or 3 oil changes at a time depending on the current offer. Despite this, Nathan insisted they hadn't accepted them for a long time. I pushed back on why this coupon would be on their website if they didn't honor it, and he said it wasn't that they didn't honor it, but that I had to purchase a service contract from Mopar and then it wouldn't cover the entire cost of the oil changes. The coupon came directly from Central Valley Chrysler's site, not Mopar, and clearly states it covers up to 6 quarts of oil per change, filter, and inspection. If you don't want to honor a national coupon, I have no problem with that. It's very common to see "at participating locations" on offers. But when you list an offer on your own website, you should either honor it, or not list it. I requested to speak with the service manager or GM, but neither was available. I find these practices deceptive and dishonest. As a retail business owner myself, I can't understand how a reputable dealership can advertise an offer on their own website and then refuse to honor it. I will no longer do business with Central Valley Chrysler due to their misleading practices.

    My 2025 Ram 2500 limited

I took my brand-new 2025 Ram 2500 Limited to the very Dodge/ Ram dealership where I purchased it just recently. It currently has under 3500 miles, [[HIGHLIGHT]]At the time of sale, I pointed out several other issues with the truck, and the sales team promised me the world--exceptional post-sale support, quick resolutions for any problems, and top-tier customer service as part of buying a high-end Limited model from them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead, I brought it in for multiple previously acknowledged concerns, including a serious water leak into the cab from under the dash on the driver's side. This has soaked the carpet (which I've spent two weeks drying out--it's still damp to this day), with visible water actively dripping from under the dash during rain. This isn't minor; it risks mold growth, electrical damage, ruined interior components, and major long-term issues on a vehicle that's essentially new. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I dropped off the truck and detailed the symptoms clearly, service advisor Nick Wharton immediately asked if I'd left a window down in the rain. Seriously? With water actively dripping from under the dash (not from doors or windows), the initial response was outright skepticism rather than genuine help.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I understand they need to replicate issues, but this dismissive tone was a bad sign right away. They held the truck for two days and called to say it was ready because they "could not confirm a water leak." At pickup, Nick explained they used their "rainmaker" machine to test it, I asked what that was, and it's clear they have this specialized equipment because water leaks are common enough in Rams (including recent models) to justify it. Yet they still couldn't (or wouldn't) find the problem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I specifically mentioned that my driveway is canted toward the street and I back in, so the truck sits nose-down--replicating that angle might be key to seeing the leak flow properly through drains or channels. His reply? "We don't get paid to do that."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unbelievable customer service for a premium truck under full warranty, especially from the dealership that sold it to me with big promises. [[HIGHLIGHT]]To top it off, as I was leaving, another rep who had overheard our conversation followed me out to the truck and apologized for Nick's behavior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Nick had earlier claimed he personally checked the carpet and felt no moisture. Right then, I lifted the mat in front of the other rep, he felt it and immediately acknowledged "wet carpet." That moment confirmed everything I'd been saying and made me believe Nick either didn't check properly or outright lied about it. Water leaks into the cab (especially driver's side from pillars, seals, clogged cowl drains, windshield areas, or related paths) are a well-documented issue on many Ram trucks, including recent and heavy-duty models like the 2500, based on numerous owner reports across forums. Dealerships see this enough to have tools like the rainmaker, yet here the effort was minimal, attitudes were poor, and the problem was ignored. I left with the same unresolved leak that could destroy the interior over time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This experience was disrespectful, incompetent, and a complete betrayal of the promises made when I bought the truck there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Avoid this dealership for anything beyond basic service, I'll be escalating to Ram corporate immediately, documenting all evidence (photos, videos, notes from the visit), and taking my future business elsewhere. This shouldn't happen on a brand-new high-end truck, and the dealership's failure to honor their sale commitments makes it even worse.

The only reason I know that is I did this service department's paperwork myself. This started as a two star review. The finish earned the third star. On the people: the communication problems ran through more than one advisor, so this isn't about one person. Mine had good moments: he owned the numbers, apologized in writing when they turned out wrong, and called unprompted for permission before removing my aftermarket lights. But simple yes or no emails went unanswered for days, and an advisor who answers fast by phone yet goes quiet whenever something needs to go on paper doesn't look lazy. He looks like someone working where paper is dangerous. A pattern that survives multiple employees isn't a personnel problem. It's a management product. The one exception was the lane manager, Kevin, who answered quickly every time. Saturday July 11: dropped off my 2022 WRX. Monday July 13: diagnosis, a leaking AC evaporator core, and a driver's seat frame that snapped at a factory weld on the freeway. $4,738 at 78K miles, warranty long expired, and the bill was mine. It stayed mine until I found a CNA National service contract I'd forgotten I bought at another dealership years ago. This store works with a different administrator and had no reason to know CNA's procedures. That buys real grace. Mid week I was told verbally, twice, I owed $2,000+ for a "labor difference." I'd said early on email works best and I wanted things in writing. Emailed questions still got phone calls back, if anything. Six requests before a partial breakdown. Five written loaner requests over 18 days. Never answered. The completion date moved three times, and I usually learned it slipped by calling on the due date. Part of the delay was human, and I hold none of it against anyone: the tech who started my car was injured on the job, and I hope he heals well. One man went down and my job sat for days, mid dash. That's not a technician problem. That's a department one technician deep on its biggest jobs. Staffing depth is a management decision. Other reviews here repeat the same words: lack of communication, dropped the ball. I wasn't an outlier. So I called CNA myself. The claim went in at 15 hours for the evaporator core alone. Mitchell shows about 8.5, ALLDATA 7.8. CNA authorized 13.9 for the whole job. No guide near 15. Once I put those in writing, I got an apology: the numbers had been "keyed in wrong." I take that at face value. The corrected submission came back at, you guessed it, 13.9 hours, matching CNA to the penny. A $2,000 error, quoted twice, caught by nobody in the building. The safety net wasn't the process. It was me. The remaining $649.05 was a $549.05 rate gap ($225/hr vs $264.50) plus my deductible. My contract pays the facility's retail rate. I read that one sentence to CNA. Their supervisor agreed on the call and phoned the shop, which pays this shop its full rate. I recovered money for the store that was, at that moment, asking me for it. The low point: asked if CNA had contacted them, I was told they hadn't heard from anyone. CNA's notes show a voicemail already left. Their rep then called the lane manager himself so it landed. Now the third star, because fairness cuts both ways. And when I put the timeline in writing on day 17 and asked for one firm date, the service manager replied the next morning with the date and waived my $100 deductible as goodwill. That's why I paid zero, and I want it on the record. The claims stumbles I forgive as unfamiliarity. My hope for the next customer: when the contract is AllState, the plan this store sells, go to bat for them from the start instead of expecting them to eat costs that belong to the warranty company. People set the tone of a conversation. Management sets the default. One thing the goodwill couldn't reach: the car was held an extra day to make sure everything was in order. At pickup, no audio except the subwoofer. My installer found the connector behind the factory head unit unplugged, the sub wire unplugged, and wiring cut and re-taped where clean connections used to be. I had it fixed elsewhere. An extra day making sure everything was in order should have included turning on the radio. The car is fun. My next repair happens at an independent shop. If you come here with a service contract: everything in writing, call your administrator yourself, approve nothing verbal, and test everything before you drive off. The bill was $4,738. I was told I owed all of it. Then $2,000. Then $649. Then $100. I paid $0. Every step down happened because one customer wouldn't approve a number nobody would write down. Ask what happens to the ones who do.

This exact issue previously occurred and was resolved through a recall update, but it has now returned. Since the vehicle is still under warranty, I scheduled an early morning service appointment with Valley Kia. Near the end of the day, I received a call stating they "could not replicate the issue" and therefore could not proceed with repairs unless they kept the vehicle for several more days to continue driving it. After checking the Kia app, I discovered that only 5 miles had been put on my vehicle the entire day. In other words, despite having my car for hours with an early appointment, only about 10 minutes appears to have been spent attempting to diagnose the problem. My service advisor, Robert, was professional and advocated for me to receive a loaner vehicle so the dealership could continue evaluating the issue. That request was denied by management. I cannot realistically be without my vehicle for multiple days when so little effort was made to investigate the concern during the scheduled appointment. When I arrived to pick up my car, I spoke with the service manager, John, about my frustration. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, he responded in a dismissive and condescending manner, stating: "I just suppose you would rather us pay someone to drive your car around all day until we find a problem." I explained that my vehicle is under warranty and that I was concerned about continuing to drive a vehicle with a known issue until it potentially becomes a larger mechanical failure. His response was simply: "It's not on us if it's not under warranty." At that point, I informed him I would not be returning to this dealership for service, to which he replied, "That's fine by me." The only positive part of this experience was Robert, who treated me with professionalism and kindness throughout the interaction and even walked me to my car after seeing how upset I was. Any redeeming quality from this visit was because of him. I purchased my vehicle from Kia Country in Manteca and only came to Valley Kia because it was closer.
