I had a dumb and what was initially an odd problem, but with a few tools, they were able to get to the root cause. My f250 diesel has NEVER run better. Despite the expensive repairs (injectors are never cheap), the pricing and time needed for very acceptable. When unexpected issues arose, as they do, they were quick to work towards resolution instead of just shrugging and becoming indifferent.

Fast forward to some time maybe a few hundred miles after I Got it back thinking I was good on my oil , the power steering works great that's easy to realize ,job well done , I guess I made the mistake of trusting he would check and take care of the fluid Chang etc like he said he would , well about a couple months later while I'm up in the foot hills my engine light starts flashing and my truck starts shaking and losing power come to find out I'm driving around with almost no oil. Allegedly The guy that was supposed to do it ( not the guy that I spoke to "Adam" the owner or manager ? )but some employee he (Adam)shifts blame to , he forgot to do it apparently. And "he got on him about that" according to Adam , whatever that means , well that doesn't really make it better ,so he got a slap on the wrist if even that. I've not only paid them to fail me, but I've paid insurance and registration on it but I am now unable to pass smog , He acknowledged there was a mistake made , he was taking responsibility it seemed for a brief moment like he was going to help me deal with it even at one point , or pretended like he would but still didn't do anything for it , when I brought it back in he sent it back with the engine light coming on now again when it was off after I changed the oil etc... but they didn't heat the engine up probably enough , so he just acted like there was nothing wrong because he saw no engine light , but it comes on not long after warming it up now. I asked for refund on whatever I was billed for , since my truck is now on its last breath and basically useless since it won't pass smog now and I paid nearly 600 bucks to pretty much help have my truck ruined , he has not offered to mitigate the situation or even at the very least offer a refund for what I paid them , there's not much need for The power steering repair at this point since the other thing i asked them to do was never done , they have done the opposite of help me so why do they deserve any payment? , and now he just ignores me. Don't know how the rating/reviews can be so good for this guy from my experience, Terrible service , terrible customer service. This has been a nightmare and has caused so much more to go wrong for me in its wake, including more unnecessary , wasted costs and he doesn't feel like he is responsible in any way apparently , just brushes me off like i never existed . A Complete loss and then some for me , and for him it's just another day at the office and an easy $500+

Where do I begin?!…read more I bought my 2020 Ascent in December of 2019, brand new. The buying process was nice George was amazing I really thought it was a great place. Then, about a year into having the car there was intermittent stalling. When I went in for my next oil change I mentioned this but they didn't find anything. Fast forward 5 years later, my car was stalling really bad, very unsafe I would press the gas and it wouldn't go or it would crawl. I took it to Modesto(30 mins from where I live) and they of course need to keep it over night because even though I have an appointment that doesn't mean anything to them. When I ChatGPT the issue it says transmission is a known issue so I mentioned that. Of course they called and said not the transmission is was the torque converter, luckily I got the extended warranty for 100k miles. So it was covered, it took them a week but it was covered. I was told I need to give it a month for it to work itself out, I get the car back, drive it home, SAME ISSUE. I bring it back the next month and again they are trying to figure out the issue. Then they call and say my gas is over the legal limit of alcohol and it's a dirty under the hood and engine area so then I need an engine oil flush, (not covered) so there goes $2,500. On top of a new cabin air filter that I would later discover was installed upside down so then my AC wasn't working as good. I get the car back when they have it another week, I was told let it run its course and use different gas, I use Costco religiously every week. Then I move to somewhere else to see if it helps. I give it a month and AGAIN! It continues to stall. I take it back for a 3rd time in 3 months and they really don't know what's going on. They finally get a reading for my transmission! At this point I am nearing my 100k miles. Which added another stressed because I have to drive. 25 miles each way just to take the car to the shop. I was scared I would be one mile over the 100k and they would tell me I need to pay out of pocket! Luckily they caught it at 95k miles! Subaru of America needed to approve it. They did and I got a new transmission. I then demanded a refund for the engine oil flush because it was NOT NEEDED. And I was out 2,500 for that! Subaru of America did not want to refund me but when I treated to sue and shout from the rooftops how much Subaru sucked they changed their mind the next day and refunded me. I thought my battle was finally over! A couple months later, my tire pressure lights come on, I get new tires and they are still on! I take it to Modesto, I was suggested to replace all 4 because they didn't want me to keep coming back for single one every-time, plus Diag fee. (This is what I was told on the phone). I do it and get it done with. Along with that, my locking system wouldn't work with my key fob, I take it there and they were trying to tell me my purse has a blocker even though it's the same purse I've used for years! Then they say it's the fob battery. Which I did change due to a low battery warning, but apparently even though u used the same number and same type it wasn't a good enough battery. I got new ones in both fobs so that's $40 on top of the tire pressure sensors so of course I walk out no less than 1,000. Fast forward to current day, it has been ONE week since my scheduled appointment and they still have my car, because the SRS airbag light came on and this again is a safety concern. I got one call saying they were following all the checks and they didn't know what was wrong. So they needed to keep it. Days pass I get another call that the entire airbag module is bad and I need a new one, of course this is not covered under warranty. He said he reached out to Subaru of America to see if they could cover some of the cost or all, they have not gotten back and we're heading into the weekend so I will go another week, without my car. He has not mentioned a possible price and I'm honestly scared to be told what I owe, being that an airbag is serious I want it fixed before I drive it any longer with my child in it. Subaru was my first new car purchase and I had high hopes for the company, I will tell anyone I know DO NOT BUY A SUBARU. There is no reason my car is 6 years old having sooo many issues and parts going out messing up, etc. what happened to quality? I do NOT recommend Modesto Subaru and I definitely do NOT recommend EVER buying a Subaru. Worst purchase EVER! There has been smaller issues in between, it's been a constant battle and my car being in the shop even though it's not that old. Get a Toyota or spending more reliable, not only does Modesto take weeks to figure out an issue and fix it, even with an appointment, but the car itself will be junk. I want to trade it in and get something else with Toyota, but I own the vehicle and don't have a car payment. Beware! It's a scam.

Not that it didn't before, but now the car glides through the higher speeds and shifts, great customer service, gentleman at the front desk was polite, the lady that took measurements and communicated to me through the phone communicated to me the entire time and the hurdles and findings of my drive shaft and options. I wanted to do a 1 and done and went with their recommendations, I'm glad I did! Driveshaft took roughly 2 weeks to be done due to low staff. Paula was relentless in trying to locate the part, making phone calls to anyone and everyone she thought could help - she even called the VP of Allison!
