The client base immediately fled to find better prices. I was looking for a new accountant. Called this lady. She sounded smart and competent, I was going to hire her. I asked her to give me a price estimate of how much a final tax return (closing return) for a company that is now out of business due to COVID would cost. After getting a quote of $1,700 to do a final tax return, I was shocked. After I told her that it was totally unacceptable, she said that she needed like 12 hours with $100 or $90 per hour, I don't exactly remember, to "set up" the company on her system or some BS like that. The company is dead, out of business, why do you need to charge a horrible amount for set up? This is predatory, and I would say extremely predatory. She also recently moved from "poor" Boulder Creek to Capitola. I bet to look for wealthy clients in a new wealthy area. Terrible experience.

So her and her daughter came up with a bs story and filed an elderly abuse restraining order on me. Well I had the dates when she claimed that I did this all on video. It shows one of the days she claimed this abuse happened with her coming over and having a long neighborly conversation that left her giving me a hug with a total resolution. I was worried the judge was going to be bias looking at me becsuse im a male with tattoos in my 40s and she's female in her 80s Do I hire this assholefor the specific reason to make sure he sees my video. Well sdk here has 3 months to prepare and never actually meets with me once besides to take my money He was so unprepared he made the court into a laughing stock even calling me by plaintiff deceased husbands name! He pissed the judge off so bad he refused to watch my video and sided with plaintiff and put a 3 year restraining order on me and made me pay her attorney fees. Total piece of shit attorney. I have said enough!
