Do NOT buy from Bondy's Ford Worst experience I've ever had. I wish I could give zero stars. They misrepresented my maintenance plan, claiming it was a Ford Maintenance Plan when it was not, and provided inconsistent information that I only discovered after having the car for a while. Several issues have continued to come up since the purchase, highlighting their misrepresentations. They will say and do anything to close the deal. Buyer beware. read more

The service at Bondi Ford well exceeded my expectations. There may be a touch bit more expensive on labor than other service providers for your vehicle, but it's not that much more compared to the service that you get they provide a service that never expected once you drop off your vehicle they will take you to wherever you wanna go and then when your vehicle is done, it will bring the vehicle to you at no additional cost. They're diagnostic technicians were fantastic and we're on spot every time they said there was an issue they fixed it my Ford F150 STX will always come through this server center in the future. read more

We took our bronco in for a recall repair. We have another issue with a noise the car makes when in reverse. We asked if they could tell us what was causing the noise and if they could, call and let us know before making any repairs. The service dept called to tell us the noise was the result of an issue that was known by Ford and had had a TSB issued but it was out of the time frame to get it fixed by warranty. He said it would be over $700 to repair it. We declined and went to pick up the car. They proceeded to charge up $165 for diagnosing a problem that was identified by Ford 3 years ago. I think it was underhanded to charge anything for that without telling us we would have a charge. They got one over in us this time but there won't be a next time.... We won't be using Bondys Ford for anything any more! read more

From where I stand Ford manufacturing is the reason I'm rating my service at 4 Star, I waited six months for a 2021 Ford F-150. My Salesman Mr. McEntyre did an outstanding job based on the information provided him. Very professional no issues with his service would recommend him by name. I feel like Ford used COVID-19 as the reason for my very slow customer service, I'm not happy about that at all. As for my truck, this is the best riding vehicle I have ever had, smooth, quiet easy to operate but, be prepared it's a rolling computer. Almost every feature is controlled or enhanced by the computer. I expect it will take some time to learn all of the items there in. This is my 4th F-150 Lariat. DB read more

It's a long story, The second sells associate we had, Mike Wolfe, was awesome. Very easy to work with, professional and upfront. I would send a friend to him without hesitation. The Finance department, different story... I didn't care for the finance guy, he was very pushy. I had already given them an interest rate from my credit union. They asked if they could try to beat it or match it. Of corse I said yes. We hung out for a while and the finance guy called us back, to sign the sales agreement. I asked what percentage rate he was able to come up with. It was 1% higher than what I told him I could get. It was $3500 over the life of the loan. I guess he thought I was dumb enough not to ask. He told me I could refinance later when the rates drop. Then commented It was getting late and he had been working on it a while. Which he had not been, my fico is excellent, This did not set well with me. I got up to leave and some more rates showed up, 30 to 40 minutes later we settled within a 0.2% difference. Then the warranty and gap spill came, I had to keep saying no. After the 10th NO! Take no for an answer it and Move on. It was very frustrating. He was nice, but I could tell he wasn't happ. He even made the comment, he doesn't make any money if I don't finance with him. We wen't in to test drive and look at a Bronco Raptor, the 1st guy we got I didn't care for. We drove the vehicle without the sales man and it broke down. I called the dealership 4 times and it went to their voicemail. Needless to say I was pissed off. We was able to make it back to the dealer and I went in a told them what happened and the keys was in the vehicle. One guy told me " It's mechanical they break down. MSRP: $96,500 and this was his response. Vehicle had 15 miles on it. Then they asked if I was sure I called the correct number. They forgot to turn the answering service off, they said the receptionist was in the bathroom. I called BS. But whatever. This was Saturday, Monday I went back and asked for a different sales person. They apologized for the whole thing and I gave them the opportunity to make a deal, I apologized for losing my cool and we did business. Turns out Ford forgot to put fluid in the axels. We did not buy that Raptor. I give them a 4 stars, because I've been doing business with them for several years. Everyone screws up at some point. I haven't ever had any issues with their service department and other than this time I've never had an issue. I feel like they did what they needed to correct the issue. I had a great experience with my salesman from an internet request for information to the purchase of my new truck.

I called and made an appointment a couple of weeks out and was told to be there at 8:30am. I was early and dropped off my vehicle and was asked when I wanted it back. I told him I was told that it should be done by the end of the week (the next day). I called this afternoon to get a status update and was told that the technician has not even looked at it. Why did I make an appointment for 8:30am?!! The service advisor didn't know when he would look at it and if it needed parts, it wouldn't be ready until next week. He even asked me if I wanted to take my vehicle elsewhere. It's only there because they're the closest (1 1/2 hrs away) dealer to do warranty work on it. I wonder now if I made the right decision or not... read more

The service is friendly and accommodating, but the repairs don't last. I had a repair done 7 months ago, and I'm having the same problem. Since there's no guarantee on parts or labor past the warranty, I'm looking at a hefty repair of work they already performed less than a year ago. My best advice is to return for service if you're under warranty. If you're not, find somewhere else that can guarantee their work. read more

Regarding the Service Department I have visited the service department several times at Bondy's Ford in Dothan Alabama and spent many thousands of dollars at their service department. It started off NOT good and it just never gets any better. Significant repair needed to be done to an engine last year. I was left with a decision to buy a new engine, rebuild the one I had or maybe just buy a used engine. I was told that a rebuild would be the best option. $4000 plus and I would have a solid engine. New engine was 8500 plus. (4x4 truck) I paid the money and within two months the engine failed. I return to Bondy's and NO help. I am just out $4000 plus and have to solve the engine problem again. Seriously, no help, no consideration, no sympathy. "not my problem and go away" was the communication received. They didn't say that, of course, but I felt it. I recently bought some simple parts to be installed. A rear view mirror and an overhead console and 1/2 of my windshield wiper failed. Plug and play fixes, but I don't have tools or the time. I even bought the parts through Bondy's. I made an appointment and showed up 30 minutes early. Left the vehicle a little before 8 AM. At the end of the day (no phone calls were returned) I show up. The service manager sees me, make quick talk with the service writer and jets out. Same service manager who "did me right" on the engine last year. My vehicle hasn't even been to the back yet. This was on Friday. So, when do I get to pick it up? Today (Wednesday.) Got a vague message about the vehicle. Ready? More trouble? Space alien poop in the carb?? Who knows. I called a few times and did not hear back. Communication ain't their thing. Parts 275. Labor 300. Took 5 days. Service writer guy did leave a voice message somewhere in there saying I could go directly to the cashier to pay. Not even a "thank you for a wonderful evening..." Again, these are just two of several trips to the SERVICE department. Many thousands spent and it has always been bad and just never gets any better. read more

Although I bought the car from Bondy's new, they will not provide me a loaner. If I rent a car, I have to pay for it and get reimbursed for rental only-no taxes or fees. read more

My husband and I recently purchased a new vehicle here this past month. We are experienced buyers as this made our 8th new purchase over the years. The two main request when searching the new explore models was that the camera was 360 and the parking package was included. Not only did they sale us a vehicle without these two items, when I came in the following week to drop off papers and get an official tutorial regarding how to proficiently use all of these new to me functions, the staff were not inviting at all. I was made to feel unimportant and it was clear now that the sale was made my business no longer mattered. I have been looking up how to operate all of the new technology on the Ford myself, this is the first ford I have driven, however, as I learn what the few features I did get do, it has become clear this is NOT the features we requested. Of the 8 new purchases I have done over the years this is a FIRST for me to walk out completely feeling like we were misled in what features this particular model had. Once there all was well and we were in negotiations to buy the truck when suddenly the sales is called away. Once he returns he tells us that the price DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WORK BODY. What?! While traveling from Indiana to Florida to take my daughter to school, the back window hinge broke on her 2004 Ford Escape. Also, somewhere in Tennessee, the front driver blinker went out. The car was taken to Bondy Ford at 7:30 in the morning on a Friday. At 10:00 they called to let me know that they could get the part for the back window on MONDAY because they had to be shipped in from Atlanta. My daughter was moving to college and needed to be in on Friday. They also told me that the lightbulb blinker repair could take a couple of hours because the nut and bolt were corroded together and it would have to be cut out. Within 15 minutes, I was able to locate the parts I needed for the window at a salvage yard an hour away. My vehicle was at Bondy from 7:30 am until 1:30 pm just getting the back window removed and the oil changed. My daughter and I waited in their waiting room and watched others come and go from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm! To change my oil and remove the back window, I was charged $128.00. The quote for the entire repair was around $375. After picking up my part at the salvage yard, I contacted a mobile mechanic in Tallahassee who came to my daughter's apartment, repaired the back window with my salvaged parts in 15 minutes AND changed the light bulb (that Bondy told me would take a couple of hours) in 5 minutes! How can a special ed teacher find parts quicker than a dealership and a mobile mechanic change a bulb faster than a dealership??? Also, the price was much better! read more

I have bought a lot of cars, new and used, in my day and I can't say I've ever had a bad car buying experience. I'm a pretty nice person and I usually get treated pretty good in return. So it's not out of the norm for me to have good car buying experience. It is, however, out of the norm for me to be really impressed with the way my purchase is handled from start to finish (and in this case beyond). So the 5 stars says I'm pretty happy with Bondy's service and if you're interested in knowing why read on. I saw a car on autotrader that I was interested in (a Ford Fusion) AND it was at the local Ford dealership. This is a big plus for me. I called and got Derek who was really good at getting me preapproved over the phone, working out the details for me, and working between me and the finance guy, Chris, to close the deal. My husband and I were in and out fairly quick when we went in which was so appreciated as we had our two toddlers with us. Derek is your guy if you want to be treated like a human being and have someone get right to work on a deal for you. I wasn't buying a terribly expensive car, but he never made me feel like I was wasting his time. My deal was treated as well as everyone else's that day as far as I can know. I would/will look for him in the future for our next car purchase. Chris in the finance department set me up with the best deal I think I've ever gotten on a car. The interest rate was considerably less than I anticipated and he worked with me and the lender to get us both where we wanted to be. Chris went to bat for me and my wallet definitely thanks him for his efforts. I had a minor issue that required the service department right after buying and this is where I am truly blown away with Bondy's. Joel in service is awesome. And the used car manager as well. They both worked out the issue for me, gave me a courtesy vehicle in the meantime, and stood behind the car they sold me even though they didn't have to. The service department took an hour and a half just to program a key. When I walked out to check on the progress of my new key I was ignored. They finally addressed me and tried to convince me it's supposed to take a long time, but I am familiar with the process and knew better. When I told them I have to go now to get to work and will return later to get the key programed all of a sudden it was magically programmed and ready. I already paid your overpriced key charge, don't try to bs me too. Over half a dozen people just sitting out there, but it takes an hour and a half. Worse service I've received. read more

I am sharing this in hopes that maybe someone doesn't run into the same issues that we have over the last 2 1/2 months. May 27th we bought a 2015 Ford Expedition from bondys ford in Dothan. Before the purchase we were assured that it had been thoroughly checked out and had no issues. We've been doing business there the last 15+ years and used the same salesman so we trusted what we were told. Two weeks later when we had to refill the water reservoir twice within a couple of days, we took it back for them to check because our warranty states that they have to do the repairs there for it to be covered. After a diagnostic check, we found out that it had a hose ($2200) that needed replacing as well as the water pump was going out ($1500). Fortunately the water pump was covered by the warranty, but the hose was not. We then asked them how it was possible that the vehicle had been thoroughly inspected and all this was over looked? Then they told us that they just do a visual inspection before reselling. After much discussion, they told us we would need to be responsible for the parts and the deductible for the warranty and that they would handle the labor, and I was thankful for that. The day after we picked it up the "check engine light" came on and the code read that the O2 sensor needed replacing ($300). Yesterday we had to take it back because the air conditioner went out and 3 parts had to be replaced ($700) none of which are covered by the warranty. After 2 1/2 months of back and forth we have decided to trade it back in because between repair bills and car payments, we need something else. I discussed another vehicle with them yesterday and what is so sad is that they want to give me $7500 less than what I paid for it, I'd only had it 2 1/2 months at the time! It was a local trade before we bought it and I'm sure they made a great deal on that one not to mention the money made on repairs in their shop after we bought it. Now the trade option they offered me is really pathetic and if I would have traded, I'm sure they would make a lot of money on the one I bought as well as put the expedition back on their lot with another sad visual inspection. Lesson learned...always ask for proof of the "so called" inspections and diagnostic tests that have been run. read more

Recently bought a new truck traded in a 2019 F to 50 the was a lemon but ford kept messing around. 8 recalls when I forced into buying a new truck. Customer service was great until it was time to close the deal. First problem which I should have demanded new tire, the truck had to have air put in both passanger side tires before I left in my new truck. I owed 40,000 and they would not match my payoff. Whatever, but on my way home my check tire nm pressure light came on. Had to air up both tires. Called the salesman of course he didnt care. He made the sale already. Everyday since my purchase I have two flat tires. I live 100 miles away so we where told to take it to any ford dealership. Did that and I was turned away because bondi managment wont change the tires anywhere but there shop. I already had new tires ready at another ford nbn that's 5 miles from home. The ford shop at my home town said nbn it's in the need! They wont seal right and now I'm going to payout of pocket eventhough there under warranty. They also charged me 1400$ for tires on my trade in why is it I can go to goodyear and get the same tires installed for 795 but there under warranty on my old truck also and bondi had goodyear replace my old tire for free. Had to stop at Bondy's due to air conditioner failure which occurred 25 miles south of Dothan. We were headed to Wisconsin. The a/c pulley motor was also making a lot of noise. We have a premium extended warranty through Ford which meant we would only be liable to pay $100 of the cost to repair. The dealership confirmed this when we visited. Service personnel checked the vehicle and confirmed a/c compressor had seized. They stated they could not get parts for at least a week and it may take up to two weeks to get confirmation and approval on the extended warranty coverage. They stated vehicle safe to drive, but do not use a/c. Stated not to worry about noise coming from a/c pulley motor as it was not seized. We drove north and got into downtown Nashville on Hwy 65 and vehicle completed shut down in traffic lane. Had to towed to Ford dealer. When explaining the situation to this dealer, it was learned that we should not have been driving because the a/c pulley motor seized and broke serpentine belt resulting in engine shutdown. Were advised that because the pulley motor was making noise it would lead to failure and was unsafe to drive. Also learned that parts would not take a week or better to get and furthermore learned that getting approval on the warranty only takes minutes, not two weeks. Bondy lied to us repeatedly and put our lives in danger by telling us the vehicle was safe to drive. Obviously they (dealership) could not make the profit on repairing our vehicle because of our extended warranty limits that profitability to $100. By the way, they charged us $50 to check over the vehicle and send us on our way with a vehicle that was unsafe to drive. I will be filing a formal complaint with Ford Motor Company about this dealership. Lives should not be put at risk for the sake of making a buck. read more

Nothing went well at all. The lack of communication here is beyond unbelievable. They way they treat customers is another big thing. About a month ago my car was backed into and I brought it into the bondys ford collision center for repairs. When I got my car back I had pointed out to Shane that there was paint chipped on both sides of my bumper that wasn't there when my car went in for repairs. Shane told me it looked like when they tried to put my bumper back on they dug into my paint. Shane said he would take care of it to just call him in a couple of weeks when I had time to drop off my car. I called 2 weeks later Shane told me to bring my car in and they would fix it so I dropped it off. I walk in the next day to find out when my car was going to be ready because I needed to get my windshield fixed and that I had an appointment for it and Shane told me that his boss said that they were not going to fix it so I called and spoke with the manager at the collision center whom which denied everything even said that he didn't say they weren't going to fix it but he was still telling me no. Then I call roger the GM and leave him voicemails and he still has yet to call me back. Second issue was that a little over a month ago I bought 4 brand new tires with the tire warranty and all and I even got an alignment with it done. This last time a couple days ago I brought my car in to get the oil changed and the tires rotated and I drive away from the shop and my car is pulling to the right and my steering wheel is not straight so I call bondys they tell me to bring it back in and they will fix it. My alignment is fixed but my steering wheel is still not straight and it wasn't like that when I brought my car in. I am very dissatisfied with this Ford and it's employees. The manager over the collision center was very rude and very argumentative and when I told him I was going to call the GM and speak with him he told me go ahead I don't care call him. We did not purchase our car here so I am not sure how this would factor into our poor treatment. We normally go to Roadmart for our repairs. After taking it there, they said it probably was the brain module and best to take to a Ford Dealer and did not charge us for diagnostic test. They told us also leak in thermostat. We make an appoint for next morning to drop off the car and told them everything what Roadmart said. They suggested we let them run it through there diagnostic tool as it would be more accurate and cost $ 75.00. They never called so we called around 10:00 AM. They said there test came up with various codes and they would need to run a more intense diagnostics which would be an additional $ 100.00. About 3 pm they call and said it was the brain ( just what roadmart said) and would cost $935.00 . We asked about leak and they said they would have to time to look at it because they got 80 cars in. We said we can not leave overnight we will pick up car at 4:30 and make a decision about the work tonight. We get there and they had car apart looking at the leak. We had to wait 1/2 hour to put the car back. Also the price for the part they gave us is unavailable, the brain module will run $ 1135.00. We will never set foot in this building again. We decided we will buy a new car but it will not be from any Bondy facility. read more

I normally don't leave bad reviews, this is actually my first. I just have to give the next person a heads up so they don't waste as much time as I did. Quick credentials: I am 33, been in the military for going on 17 years, and my wife and I have bought about six new cars in the last ten years. I went to Bondy's on 4 September 2015 to purchase a new F150 since both Ford and Bondy's were advertising 0% interest for 72 months as a Labor Day incentive. There was an F150 I was interested in and it had additional discounts that marked in down from around 52 to 49 thousand or so. After shopping around Dothan a bit I returned to drive the truck and did. After the test drive I haggled a bit I tried to get the wheels switched with another set, they wouldn't, tried pay to upgrade them and was told that had to be done before the truck was delivered to the lot. The only option in that area was to completely buy a new set of wheels for the truck (Remember this wasn't my first car purchase). Either way I was there to buy a truck so that is what I was going to do. They then appraised my car and offered about two thousand dollars less than the trade in value from KBB and NADA. I didn't have a problem with that as I was still going to have over six grand down from the trade in and I figured they would like to get a good deal too. All said and done I was going to get the truck out the door just over 43,000. Not a deal for me after all, but still I was willing to just buy the truck and get it over with. I signed the deal, stuck around for a half hour but after they did a credit pull they later determined that I couldn't get the 0% interest and the rebates. Of course I had been working on that the whole time, even talked about the payment with the salesman. That was about all I could take so I asked to speak to whoever kept making these decisions. I got to speak to the guy the salesman kept running to with questions (the sales manager I think). He said that he never knew I was interested in 0% interest. Then the salesman told him that 0% for 72 months is what we have been talking about the whole time. The manager told me something along the lines of: the salesman had been working for him for a long time but not in new cars so he doesn't know how they make in new cars yet. I asked if they had already pulled my credit and he said yes. He offered his apology was not going to back off the additional 1500-2000 that had been added to the deal after they pulled my credit and went to finance. I was still considering purchasing the truck until the sales manager said something along the lines of: It doesn't affect your credit the same anymore, they actually expect you to compare rates so the credit pull won't hurt your credit.
