My first time to a Bone Daddy's and I was very pleased with the food and overall experience. I heard bone Daddy's was a BBQ restaurant and the waitress wore skimpy clothes. Will they are a BBQ restaurant and a pretty good one. As for the skimpy clothes I did not see any. The young ladies look very nice in normal everyday clothes. But I have heard different stories. This location had young kids and families in this restaurant and it all seemed fine. It was an afternoon on Sunday. I had the BBQ ribs with 2 sides okra and potato salad. The rib were very good if you love ribs you will love these. The okra was very good I love fried okra yum yum. As for the rest of the menu I did take a few taste of the brisket and it was very good. I'm not a BBQ snob I just like good cooked and good tasting BBQ and Bone Daddy's does a good job. The service was fine the waitress did not speak up she was very shy and timid. She needs to work on that if she wants good tips. The restaurant is casual sports bar setting a lot of wood and televisions. Price is standard BBQ price range. Portion was a good size plenty to eat. 5/5 stars once again. I had the pulled pork sandwich with comes with onion and pickles, but I just had the onion. It also comes with fries and beans on the side. To drink, I had sweet tea. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and filling. The waitress brought us a warm bottle of barbeque sauce to put on the sandwich. (Love that they bring the bottle to you warm, great touch!)The fries were very well seasoned and the beans burst with great flavor and texture. Our waitress was great! Attentive but not too attentive. She kept an eye on our drinks and brought refills promptly. Will be returning again in the future for some great BBQ. Also, love the location. The drink specials were good $3 wells. The food was good. The ribs and burnt ends were tender and juicy. We had potatoe salad and beans as sides and they were ok. Well, I haven't been to any of these in a few years now, what a change. The decor of the restaurant was probably the only thing the same. First thing that was noticed was the uniforms, or lack of a uniform, hard to tell who worked there and who didn't. The food was ok, I remember it being much better. read more

The only saving grace for me were the burnt ends. They're flavorful, tender and smoky. Definitely a go to location for those. Their smoked wings caused this to be a less than stellar review. They had darn feathers on them!! I didn't realize it until I'd gotten home. I don't want to pluck my dinner. First time trying, arrived right around 5p. Seated right away by the back wall where the cook line and prep side of the kitchen is, we'll circle back to that. All in all it's a rustic bar/restaurant but rustic shouldn't translate to dirty. Most of the fans, the decor, the visible fan hoods under the heat lamps are all coated in films of dust, grease and who knows. As far as staff goes, waitress was friendly but not knowledgeable on the menu, she could not tell my elderly grandmother why certain items were described as named and rather than ask she just shrugged and said idk sorry. One thing that didn't sit right is seeing, what I would later find out was the manager on duty, eating on the prep line without gloves and actively picking up food off the prep line and tilting her head back to eat the meat and licking her fingers. Apparently it's cool for several staff members to use that area to walk around openly w food or drink as well. Only the waitstaff was wearing masks, no one prepping the food or in the cook line was masked which was odd considering the waitress probably had the least amount of contact w the food. I later found out the earlier aforementioned was the manager because our two credit cards were charged incorrectly for a table next to ours instead of our table. The manager was able to clear it up and that was appreciated. The food for me was well seasoned and had a nice little kick but for my elderly grandma everything was pretty much inedible or too spicy, personal preference and not the fault of the restaurant. Some online write-ups made this sound like a "go to" place so we gave it a shot. Service was slow even though they were at 25% capacity. The waitresses were not very attentive. It took 15 minutes to get one of their signature drinks replaced when it came without alcohol. Three of us got the burnt ends. There wasn't enough meat to cover the roll and the meat that was there was tough not tender. The 4th person in our group for pulled pork and had no complaints. The sides were tasty. Prices were not bad. Only one option for sauce, served warm, in a plastic squirt bottle was available. Tasty but additional sauces would be a good idea. Checking this off our list but we will not return. There are far too many better BBQ places in the area. read more

If I'm craving BBQ but don't want to drive out to Dallas or FTW, or it's a Sunday and the local ones are closed, this is my go-to. It's quick, tasty and the servers are always really nice. I always get the chopped beef sandwich. You really can't go wrong with it. It's saucy and beefy and the bun really makes it. They butter it and toast it to perfection. It comes with beans and fries but I like to sub my beans for mac and cheese. Their mac is creamy and cheesy and delicious. Get it. Don't skip dessert. The banana pudding is YUM! read more

My review is based off of my experience with take out. The food is always delicious. There are no complaints regarding that. My problem is the service. Over the phone when I place my order, half of the time they are helpful and nice. My real issue with Bone Daddy's is when I pick up. The customer service is horrible! I feel as though because I'm a woman, I don't get the service that is given to the majority of the customers (men) there. I get it. These girls are working for tips but guess what?! Been to Bone Daddy's multiple times and by far my worst experience. The food was great and the beer was cold but the service had lots of issues. There was only 1 bartender taking care of the bar, the rest of the restaurant, and take out orders. Kendr ( bartender) was getting her but kicked. The Manager/GM or whoever was in charge seemed obvious to all of this. 4-5 girls standing at the greeting station and nobody could help her out, at least help with takeout orders. Oh, Rangers game wasn't on TV, Bryan Nelson wasn't on, nor the NBA playoffs. Multiple customers had to request these programs. We had a huge bug on our table, the food was overly salty & over seasoned, the waitress was very rude. And the manager just made excuses. Tried to make the best of it, but instead it ruined our 4th. Don't come here if you're wearing anything less than a skirt or shorts that don't come passed your knee. I'm on my fourth chair, thankfully, this time, after doing rearranging of all the chairs, nothing is cutting into my legs sharply. I am a big fan of Bone Daddy's baby! I met with my cousins this particular evening for drinks and a nice chicken fried steak (I always or the same thing). I suggested this place after the Texas Roadhouse was way too long to wait for. I love taking my people places they've never been :) The wait was similar, about 10 min shorter, and we were starving without a care. We were pretty lit to say the least and there stands a pig if you know what I mean. Pork on patrol right inside near the host. No big, we waited outside for comfort. There is was a intercom outside, so you are able to hear your name called. We never heard ours, so we stepped inside after our 35 min wait. Sitting and chatting, 10 more minutes, and we hear "have you ladies been helped?" I wish you could see my face! "Wait, what!?" Long story short we couldn't get a booth b/c somehow they skipped us...sad case, but "whatever lets drink!" Two "blow torches" appeared, confirming for my cousin that she wanted one also ;) I encourage! Funny thing is she was attempting to take a picture or snap it, and the entire drink spilled in her lap and almost across the table to me. We laughed good about it, and you know people were looking. We didn't care, they were not the nicest anyhow. If our attitudes were not so great, the waitress probably would not have received a tip just because she didn't do nor say much. I asked for a certain mashed potatoes, that I did not receive, and when I informed her she asked if I would like the correct ones I ordered....well duhhh! I'm pretty upset I didn't get any pictures but for my first review it's just gonna have to do. As I sat down I was greeted by my server Braelyn. I expected to get fresh baked rolls covered in honey butter but none ever came out.!? I got the usual "The Carolina" & it usually comes with pulled pork, BBQ, coleslaw, & pickles I mean I did receive that but I received something extra this time fresh onions!!. Solid chain restaurant BBQ. I went with a co-worker for an after work dinner. We sat at the bar and had some happy hour in addition a BBQ sampler of pretty much everything they had. Smoky flavors, tender meat, reasonable prices. They don't have the most varied set of taps, but the bartenders were really helpful in selecting a drink and were even willing to modify some of their house cocktails to reduce the sweetness. The fried okra was especially crispy and fresh, while I cannot speak as highly of the bbq baked beans, I usually prefer them to have some BBQ chunks in it. read more

So this review is split into two sections. First the food; their bbq was amazing! The queso was also very good. The large beer is well worth the money. If you are in Texas this is a wonderful place to go get some food. But then there is the service. Our waitress was very nice and very attentive. But we had several items dropped off by other waitresses. One young lady with a tattoo on her shoulder threw our food on the table as if it was an inconvenience. If they weren't our actual waitress the staff could care less about providing good service. The dichotomy of the staffs behavior was astounding. Came today for an early dinner, 7-11-22, sat at the bar and ordered the wings, I've had them at least 15 times previously. They have always been so darn good and today I'm shocked at the quality! They are so dry and extremely over cooked...I noticed the price went way up too, I have a feeling people may not be ordering them due to the huge price increase (6 wings for $18.99) so maybe they are sitting under the warmer all day but shame on the kitchen mgr for sending out such a sub par meal, especially now that they cost even more!
