I placed an online order and was immediately met with rudeness from the owner as soon as I walked in. He said the order would be ready soon but never asked my name or confirmed the order. When he brought food to the front and set it on the counter, I asked if it was mine and was met with more attitude. My cousin arrived shortly after and placed her order, paying with cash. The total was $13.20, and she gave him a $20 bill and two dimes. When he returned, the change was incorrect. When she pointed it out, he insisted she had given him three $5 bills, which was not true. Instead of correcting it, he dismissed her and then went to the back before returning with her food. We checked her food together while on a video call and immediately noticed a white, foamy substance on her wings that appeared to be spit. Photos were taken, and it was clear the food had been tampered with. No customer should ever worry about retaliation or food contamination especially when the behavior comes from the owner of the business. This is disgusting, unsafe, and unacceptable. I recently visited Hershey's Palace and ordered two pizzas, one large and one medium for takeout. While placing the order, the cashier wasn't the nicest to begin with. But after we skipped the tip option on the payment screen (since it was a to-go order), her demeanor noticeably became worse. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse after that. Shortly after eating the food, I became extremely ill and suffered from diarrhea for four days. This was a very upsetting experience, and I will not be eating here again. ZERO stars.... The pics on YELP do not properly describe how delicious and wonderful this food is. The best CATFISH I've had in a long time in TX. I'm from Cali and the seafood is far better than TX. On March 21, 2026 , I went into this restaurant for dinner with my cousin as we walked into the business owner Mr. Hersheys was observed sitting at the table eating lunch observed owner licking fingers owner came to take me and my cousins order owner did not wash hands before taking order what we ordered that day was myself a hamburger meal did not want it after owner did not use proper hand washing before making the food and after licking his fingers from eating . my cousin order 5 wings with collard greens and became very ill my cousin has had a bacteria infection since march 22 , 2026 as a result of this incident with the business my cousin has been hospitalized and back in forth to the hospital can not get over this infection as of today she is still sick has been off of work since march 22, 2026 . I have eaten several times in the past with no issues but this time a family member became very ill if hospital information is needed i have it present for review. Wednesday. I placed an order and he short changed me. And when I politely mentioned it to him he tried to tell me I gave him 3 5's. I know I handed him a twenty dollar bill and two dimes. And he handed me two dollar bills. He eventually gave me the $5 that was owned. He looked at my reciept then went to the kitchen. He was alone working the kitchen and the register. There was just me and two gentlemen that came in after me in the lobby. Mr. Hersey came from the back with my food in a bag triple knotted. I thought that was odd. It was hard to get the bag open. I always eat my fries first because I hate soggy fries but it was so hard to open the bag. Once I opened it, I noticed white foam on my mild sauce. This man SPAT ON MY FOOD BECAUSE I CAUGHT HIM STEALING $5 FROM ME! I've been coming to his establishment for a long time now. He has given my daughter kool-aid and he was always very friendly. But yesterday his demon showed. I went back to work and couldn't focus on my client. I've referred so many people here and to be treated the way I was made me feel low down and dirty. Im still torn over this. I will never spend anymore money here. I hate tearing a small business down because I have one. And that's how I take care of my family, but I can not stay silent. Some of the best fried wings I've had in a long time , didn't even need sauce but I tried a little bit just for the fun of it.. We were starving and craving wings and happen to be right by this little restaurant.. My wife saw a little video of this place on Facebook and it looked pretty good.Well let me tell you it's a hidden gem.Its basically a hole in the wall.You go in there is the place where you order and the menu is on the wall.You have a few tables to sit down and a couple of TVs on the wall to watch as you wait for your order.We looked at the menu for a minute and finally figured out what we wanted.They have a little bit of everything so it took a minute.My wife ordered the 6 piece wing meal.I ordered the 3 piece catfish meal.My meal came with fish,hush puppies,coleslaw and two pieces of bread.I thought everything was really good.The only thing I was a little disappointed in were the fries.They could have been a little more crispy and seasoned.My wife said her wings and everything else was good.The wings come plain with sauce on the side.Not sure if you can get them tossed in a sauce?Then after we ate we got one of their little cakes which were delicious.They have a strawberry which we got and a red velvet.I suggest you get one.In fact I suggest you give this place a try.You won't regret it.The only unfortunate thing is this place is not really that close to me so we have to go a little out of our way if we come back.Will still be back but just won't be as much as we would like. read more

This place was highly recommended in the Arlington area. I checked it out with my friend hoping to get some food fried catfish. Instead, i got Swai. I don't mind Swai, but it was unseasoned. The fries were more seasoned and crispier, so I enjoyed them. The service was great and we received our order in a decent time given we did not call it in. Very small inside- limited seating, from what I could see, unless they had a dining area somewhere else. I waited in my car. Staff was friendly! The Wait - 30-40 min. (Friday night, right before 8). Several patrons were waiting both in and outside of the business. Extra charges/fees : there was a thirty cent customer service fee on my receipt. I didn't see it until I got to my car. No biggie. Also, the 60 cent up charge for the fries, I didn't know about until I got to my car. Food ordered: Sweet Steak sandwich, which comes with fries. The sandwich put me in the mind of a less flavorful manwich sandwich. Rate ehh 5/10. I would not reorder this. The Fries were good with the mild sauce (60 cent up-charge). I don't think I would order them the regular way- they are regular, crinkle cut, frozen fries. I will definitely be back- but for something different. I just knowwww there is something on the menu I will love. I will update this review when I try the Philly, fish, and burger, AND the pi. You'll see me again. Update: burger tried. It was decent. The prices are very very reasonable & you get a bang for your buck. Today was my last day that I can eat fried food for life so I decided to spend it at this place. Food: 4 Chicken Wing Combo - Straight fire and it's seasoned very well. I'm a fried food & wing junky and one thing that I noticed is that this place uses clean grease. No sauce comes with these wings and none is needed. Large Rib Tips - $10.85 its huge and can be eaten as an entree. It's rib tips on top of fries smothered in bbq sauce. Im not a sauce person and always get it on the side but I'm glad I forgot to tell them. The rib tips are amazing but the DARN bbq was EPIC literally. He's nailed that recipe and it's balanced very well. Mac & Cheese - $4.00 it was ok and nothing to brag about. It wasn't bad but I'm a Mac n cheese junky and I'm a hard sell with it. Greens - $4.00 I was speechless & couldn't believe I devoured the BEST greens I've ever had in my life and in Dfw... I wanted to drive back and slap the owner for sticking his foot in these greens. Y'all he got that recipe from his madea, mee maw, nanna or somebody. Its an oldddddd school recipe seriously . Over all I enjoyed my food and plan to return and try other menu options. I was only really only going to review the food, based on how my experience was on the customer service end wasn't great, at least for me. I called to place a to go order for the first time I've been wanting to try it for a minute now. I called was placed on hold for over 11 minutes, after 5 I started to drive there because I was thinking maybe they are slammed on a Friday night. Pulled up, still on hold, and no one came back on the phone and NO customers in there at all come to find out. That was disappointing and the worker didn't seem to care I was on hold that long and had to drive up there to just place the order and wait longer. But, the food itself shined was hot, delicious and fresh. I got the 5pc Jumbo Tenders with fries and had it all covered in the Chicago mild sauce, that was the star of the show. Ok so maybe I don't know how to order properly at a Chicago style restaurant. I ordered their Italian Beef sandwich but had nothing on it. Are the peppers, onions, or Giardiniera not standard? I wasn't offered any toppings. Their store menu didn't show that the item had other ingredients (only that it comes with fries). I saw toppings, but I think it was for their pizza. The rest of Texans probably think the sandwich comes more than just with beef, but their expectations would be disappointed, too. The sandwich was dipped in broth, at least. I ordered wings. They were plain breaded, but seasoning was ok. They were crispy and tender. I wasn't offered any dipping sauce or hot sauce. Or none were given in my takeout bag (except ketchup). I devoured the wings. I didn't mind the 30 minute wait. They're a small operation, it was a Friday night, they make fresh to order food. But I felt like wasn't taken care of like other small mom and pop places in Texas, even though it was just takeout. Maybe I'll try again and ask more questions when I order. read more

This place is tucked away in Downtown Arlington but it's absolutely delicious!!! Not really a place to sit and dine-in BUT the food makes up for it. I love the fact they have a shrimp and wing basket because I couldn't decide on which one I wanted. The shrimp is very flavorful and fresh!! The wings are not the small wingettes but the big wings and they were nice and juicy. The fries also had some seasoning with them which I do wish the batter had more of a crunch to it and I wish there was a way to online order but the flavor and quick service definitely makes up for it. Back before the world shut down, I would travel to Arlington/Dallas for work, almost monthly. One time I could figure out what I wanted to eat so I just let Yelp lead me. As a Chicago Girl, I got excited when I saw "Hershey's Place" since they do Chicago style wings with sauce, Chicago pizza and a variety of other things. I chose a 4 piece wings and fries. They put sauce on everything like I requested, although they could have been a little bit more generous with the sauce. It was more of a drizzle and I like a lot of sauce. The parking situation definitely isn't ideal, since they are doing construction on the road however there are a few shared spots in front of the restaurant and multiple parking areas around the restaurant. Of course I didn't feel like I was eating Harold's or anything, but it definitely was good enough that I would go again! If you're from Chicago like me and miss the food from the "hole in the wall spots" or just want some good food when you're not watching your calories, Hershey's place is a good option! read more

Bae and I decided to take a mental day and check out a new spot and such. Hershey's came across his radar on Facebook, so why not? The place is small, not much room to sit and actually enjoy your piping hot meal but we made it work. I'm so glad we arrived when we had because the line was out the door and for good reason. I was just at Hershey's Palace. They are a chgo favorite restaurant. I love these place is close to me. The food is soooo good!!!! I had a gyros, chicken wings w/ fries with mild sauce and a sweet steak sandwich. This place is a great piece of home. I miss my Chicago style food but with Hershey's Palace here I don't feel so bad.. They are the sweetest couple and as long as they are open I will be eating there. read more
