What's not to like? The place is awesome - incredibly well decorated, and every single detail fits right in. Inspired by European catacombs and ossuaries, as well as macabre legends and myths of the wild west, the space is pretty unique and creative. There are even real human remains on site. If you ask the bartender nicely and promise to be careful, he may let you handle them... I did! They have scavenger hunt cards that will have you look in every nook and cranny. It's fun, and suprisingly challenging (it's a good thing). Lots of brews on the menu. No food (aside from packaged chips, pretzels and whatnot) until the food truck pulls in but you're welcome to bring food from other places. Last but not least, super-friendly service. DJ is freakin amazing and has a great sense of humor! Thank you! We went up to Payson for a drive and our way back stopped at this brewery. We spent like 3-4 hours here and tbh we did not want to leave because we were having such a a great time. There is no food but there was a food truck outside and the pizza was delicious. The beers we had were great and we definitely recommend. There was a family there with a baby and it was fine. Once we were leaving there was a guy setting up to play live music and I wish we would have stayed! We asked to do the scavenger hunt and this definitely added to the fun. I stopped in here after seeing it on an Instagram reel once. I was visiting the Tucson area and I added it onto my itinerary. The spot is in an unlikely place, in a strip mall kind of plaza. Inside was really cool very macabre style. The bartender was the owners son and he was a pretty chill guy. A lot of really cute ladies were at this brewery which was a plus. They also served their take on a shandy in several different flavors. Interesting place and Im glad I stopped in! Stop in and support a local brewery!! read more

Stopped here for a post golf brew after finishing 18 holes at Eagle Mountain. I had the oatmeal stout and it was creamy, cold, and smooth. Perfect. Love the 'dead' vibe throughout the place, including the bathrooms. Fun barrel tables near the outside-in seating area. Parking easy and staff helpful. Order at the bar then grab a seat and relax. Literally a hidden gem in Fountain Hills! This place is kind of tucked away but we followed the map on a mission to pick up one of their tin signs. Unfortunately they were out of the signs for now, but we did enjoy two different delicious IPA's and some great story swapping with Sam and his sidekick! It's probably one of the most unique breweries I've ever visited! The trip to the restroom was even cool like walking through a mine shaft. Love this place! It's Arizona Gold Mine meets Día de los Muertos. Their brews were great, I had the Englemann's Elixir Prickly Pear Pale Ale, which was a darn good ale. Service was excellent too! Such great guys working the bar, lots of personality! There was also live music, the musician played "I've Been Working on the Railroad" which went perfectly with the theme of the bar. He did modern songs too but I particularly liked his version of that one. There's seating inside as well as outside. Fun, local brewery! Unique concept for a brewery with a local atmosphere and frequent live music. If you don't like live music (personally, I'm not a huge fan when I'm at a restaurant/bar trying to have a conversation), they have plenty of outdoor seating so you can maintain your conversation. That being said, the music has been pretty good (even despite my general distaste for live music in these settings). The beers themselves are also tasty and have fun names. Ever since they opened about a year ago, I've been wanting to try here and finally made my way out here. They take online order during their modified business hours. I didn't know what to order so I just showed up to ask some questions first. While I was standing in line to order, they were chatting with the regular customers and the owner said how much they miss talking with customers. From the way they interact with customers, I could tell this is really fun neighborhood beer brewery to hangout then. I took four cans of one of their dark beers and it tasted very good. They used to and they still do bring out a food truck on weekend and it was a pizza night when I went. They don't serve food but they seem to always bring interesting food trucks. Follow them on Facebook to see their hours and food truck hours before you head out to pick up your orders. Pizza was so tasty. Pizza was not on my diet for the past 6 months for my training but when I saw their pizza online, I had to come and try. I am so glad I came out on pizza night and their pizza and beer went well together very well. I am looking forward to coming back when they can open inside. Really enjoyed the hours spent here. Got there when opened and was able to chat with brewer for a bit. Tried a couple of samples and got a few pints. This place sells chips and jerky but no food. But that's okay as you can bring your own. Pups allowed on patio. Stayed outside in shade and drank our pints as place started to get busy. Pack of Thieves and Englemann's Elixir were probably my favorites. Grabbed a can of Head Harvester for another time ( 13% ) Will definitely be back, would be super fun on Hallows Eve . read more

This is a great little brewery tucked away from civilization! I found it on Yelp when I knew I'd have some time between work and an event in Fountain Hills. Luckily for me Bone Haus was on the way towards my event, and I love to still try new breweries. They are family/friends owned and run - one of the owner's fathers and sons were among the staff that day, plus a few others slinging beer. On their website & socials they plan a lot of events to stay busy - the afternoon I stopped by someone was going to give a talk on animals. And since they don't serve beer, a pretzel food truck was present next to the entrance. I managed to get a bar seat before a hoard of folks came in for the speaker. Flights are four, 5oz pours for ~$8. They pride themselves on their Black IPA for good reason, but also be mindful of two others that are equally, if not more delicious - the Prickly Pear Ale and the Desert Distortion Juicy IPA. Both I'd consider "porch drinkers" and can be purchased at only a few places around the Valley. Definitely take a look around their space, it's quite the unique look like you're in a mineshaft. I LOVED this place. The decor is fun and quirky; I'm always on board when skeletons, skulls, and bones are involved. I'm not from the area, and we came to try a few local brews while on a family vacation. All the beers were decent. I am an IPA lover and enjoyed the juicy IPA. The figgy pudding beer was also good - smoky, dark, rich, with a plum flavor to it. Milk stout was also a good one. I even ventured out and tried the Helles lager, even though I don't like lagers, but the bartender assured me it was very good, and indeed, it was much more flavorful than a typical lager. We played some cornhole although it was cold outside, and enjoyed a couple of rounds of good beers. Overall, a wonderful brewery experience. I very much appreciated the fact this place is kid-friendly. We brought our toddler, and she was entertained by the decor and cornhole. There were a couple of other older kids hanging out too. The one offering of a very sub par hard seltzer or whatever they call it,,,is not going to cut it. Nor is the entertainment from a couple of weekends ago. I love a good brewery! Like, hell yea, love!!! And I loved this place! I usually camp and celebrate a proper hike with a good brewery . This time I went fancy and stayed at a resort (out of my primitive camping norm) and was happy af to have this brewery nearby. I have lived in Scottsdale several years before moving to Southern California several years back. I so wished this place was around when I lived here. I went one night and got a pint of the Sunset Condor Helles Bock Lager. My friend got a flight of 4. We both loved several of the beers so much we got a 4 pack to go. The next day, we went to downtown Scottsdale to have dinner. We went to a fancy restaurant (the ones you have a small bite and pay a crapload for it). We were less than enthused and were ready to go back to Bone Haus for the pizza truck they had out front and a beer. What a great venue! Decided to stop somewhere outside of our usual bubble on a trip back from Payson. We did a flight and tried 8 beers. Great mix of beers - not the same 12 variations of IPA that I feel like everyone offers. Big bar, several tables, and big side door garage door that open up to a side patio.
