From the waiter to the hostess, everyone was very nice and welcoming. By fav my favorite thing was the pesto and bread dip- I've never tasted anything so yummy before! The calamari was also delicious! My husband and I both got the chimichurri filet- while the meat was. a little over cooked, it was still very soft. I was not a fan of the chimichurri sauce at all- it was too acidic. We replaced that sauce with the pesto sauce and it made to dish 20x better. My daughter had the kids nuggets and while one did coke on a little pink- they had no problem completely remaking the whole plate at no charge. Arrive at the restaurant about 5:30 PM. Today is Tuesday. The main dining room was nearly empty when I got here. More guest started arriving shortly after I did. By meal's end, it was over 30% full. I was seated immediately. The waiter arrived in under two minutes with bread, menus, and took my drink order. I just got water today. The lobster on the 3 course (entree, two sides, & dessert) meal from their "Hooked on Tuesday's" menu was my choice. The sides were garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. "Jenny's Coconut Pie" was my dessert choice. No suspense here (gotta get on the road), it was an excellent meal; especially considering the retail (before taxes and gratuity) is $16. The lobster was fresh, tender, and flavorful. The spinach was perfectly sautéed and the garlic mashed potatoes were good as well. The experience was such that, I'd have been glad to have paid full price, but am very pleased it was discounted. All the service, from seating to checkout was very good. My water glass did reach bottom once, but it was refilled without prompting in a couple of minutes. This is my second trip to a Bonefish Grill. I will be back. read more

During the pandemic it is the responsibility of each establishment to take care of their staff and customers. This location of Bonefish was very negligent in their duty of care. The CDC has outlined steps to minimize the spread of the virus, not only should we wear our masks and wash our hands frequently but at a minimum stay 6 ft apart from people you don't live with. The restaurant was empty at the time my family of three was already well into our meal and the hostess passed by several empty booths to sit a couple right next to us. The man in the party took off his mask and began coughing (not covering his mouth). We immediately packed our things and ended our meal. No one from management came over to explain their actions nor did anyone from the staff apologize for their mistake. Our server was great and he apologized for the lack of thought or care demonstrated by his peers but it's not his responsibility on how the restaurant operates. The shop is both clean and tidy, having plenty seating space and a nice bar. Staff members there greeted us in/ out when we left. The Bang Bang shrimp was the Bomb!!!! I've been to this Bonefish Grill a couple times after having a very awesome Yelp event here last year. This time we were seated promptly, but we were sitting down for at least 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. I had to ask one of the servers to get someone to help us. We ordered the bang bang shrimp appetizer, lobster thermidor gnocchi, and wagyu burger. Bang bang shrimp was delicious, and they give you a very generous portion! Never had lobster thermidor before, and this dish was delicious, with a decent amount of lobster chunks mixed in. I was happy with this visit, as last time my fish was overcooked. Bonefish makes some good, but not great seafood. They also have a very expansive and varied menu with something for everyone. read more

Stopped back by here with my friend for some Bang Bang shrimp and winter wishes!! My meal was deelish, the veggies were not good until I got the Brussel sprouts! They were great! My friend I got the tropic heat drink and oh My Gawd is that thing good! I think I like that better than winter wishes. No shade! Preston was our waiter and he was fabulous! Attentive, caring, suggestive (pertaining to the menu) and offered his unbiased opinion on certain items. We thoroughly enjoyed him! Stopped by for dinner on 12/27. I could give the full run down of what is wrong, but want to simply hit the highlights. I have eaten at multiple Bonefish Grills over the years with no issues all 4 star meals. They missed the tuna app all together, then told us we would not be charged.... My C. Sea Bass was charred on the outside, but still uncooked and even cool to the touch on the inside, no one offered to replace it. The cream of spinach was dipped out of a container on to a bread plate. It was dried out on the top and room temp under. Again, no one offered to replace it. The only upside was the either the manager or kitchen manager did give my wife a small crab cake which was the hottest thing either of us had that night. They didn't take anything off the meal, but did give us a small gift card for a future meal. I simply wanted a good meal out with my wife, that was all. The only highlight was the wine was good. There is no excuse for this, the dinning room was almost half empty, even with us having to wait 20 min for a table. For a $100 plus meal, Bonefish Grill should be embarrassed and should have stepped up. Taco Bell would have been a better stop and that's not saying much.... read more

Since Bonefish Grill is a chain that's just about everywhere I will keep my review very simple: It's very good, but I wouldn't say great. I guess I'm a hipster now-a-days. I normally shy away from "chains" and normally don't do food reviews for restaurants that are chains. Let's be honest: if you travel frequently you've seen some Bonefish Grills. They're common. My bank sent me a twenty-five dollar gift card for the place and we went for it. I got the bang-bang shrimp tacos and fries. I mean, look at the picture I have below. It's actually impressively gorgeous. That could be in a magazine or something. It tasted darn good, but it wasn't fresh. I grew up and lived for twenty five years between Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC. I know fresh seafood from a mile away and since Cola isn't anywhere close to the coast you already know it's not fresh. Alas, I'll stop being a seafood snob but it was good. Also when you walk inside it's actually pretty nice. It's dark with candles for every table. I'm a big fan of that. I was actually surprised how nice the inside was and I didn't want to leave. Here comes the review. My wife thought her fish and chips were okay and I thought my shrimp tacos were good. Since we had a 25 dollar gift card we paid nine bucks including the tip. For nine bucks it's a four out of five all day. The food was amazing for nine bucks. For normal menu price we probably would have paid about $32 dollars. For $32 dollars for two people you can go to A LOT of very nice restaurants in Columbia that are not chains. So it is what it is. So my family and I spent the evening celebrating my Aunts birthday here at this establishment and went a little like this, the waitress spilled wine on my girlfriends dress and on my cousin pants. Instead of apologizing right then and there she told them it's gonna be okay, NOT! Customer service training is definitely a must and needs to happen ASAP. My girlfriend had to go home and change her clothes before rejoining the dinner. What made the dinner better is when the manager came and apologized to us and paid for the meals for the 3 ladies for the inconvenience that the waitress caused. Bonefish, really knocked it out of the park last week when I came here with my husband. I'm usually somewhat skeptical of chains but the service here was so phenomenal I would definitely visit this location over and over again. Our server Bill, was very on top of it, always made sure we were doing okay, and gave great recommendations. He really impressed us with his hospitality. My friend won a raffle item that was a dinner for 8 at Bonefish. We had to go on a week night but that was basically our only requirement. We made a reservation for a Tuesday evening, 12/3 at 7pm. Some of us arrived early but our table was already reserved for us so we were able to be seated early and have a drink or two from their happy hour menu. Once our group showed up, our waiter, Zach (his business card says hes the key manager, but he was the one that helped us all evening) came up and gave us a rundown of how our night was going to go. He was extremely knowledgeable, super nice, very accommodating, and he definitely made our experience a great one! Our dinner was family pot luck style, which was great for us. We got 4 or 5 appetizers, 6 or 8 main dishes, 5 or so desserts, and the most amazing cocktails. The presentation of everything was nothing short of fabulous. We were all stunned by the Treasure Chest Old Fashioned. I literally haven't shut up about it since I had it and I've told everyone that will listen how incredible it was. It was a special Woodford Reserve, house made vanilla bean simple syrup, a dash of bitters, a sprinkle of gold (yeah, GOLD) all over one large cube of ice and then placed inside a little treasure chest and smoked. It was to die for. Seriously. The chocolate creme brulee was so perfect, I wanted to get one all for myself. My favorite main dish was absolutely their salmon. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The bang bang shrimp is obviously a fan favorite and it was for our table, too. My husband took me here for our 1st anniversary, so my experience was already biased in a good way. The ambiance was casual but you can also dress up and still feel comfortable. It's a cross between BJs and Outback. The lighting is very dimmed which I didn't mind for a nice dinner. I ordered the steak and crab cakes which were great. The portion sizes were great for dinner. One thing I THOROUGHLY enjoyed was their drinks. I can't remember exactly which martini I ordered, but it had an apple slice in it and tasted of cinnamon and everything great put into one martini glass. It wasn't too strong, yet still flavorful. The service was great too. The servers were incredibly polite and attentive. The food was great, the noise level was low. Altogether, I'd love to come to this place more often. I came in for Sunday brunch to enjoy some of the amazing seafood that Bonefish is know for. I started with a white sangria which was fresh, fruity and definitely had the right amount of alcohol. Then I had the famous bang bang shrimp. Which was fried perfectly and coated in that spicy and tangy sauce that everyone loves. We finished the app because no shrimp left behind! Now the meal...crab omelette with mashed potatoes. The crab omelette had no cheese and it should have had cheese based on the menu and it being an omelette. There was no salt, no pepper, no seasoning. The crab was sprinkled on top and the asparagus were completely whole inside. I had the pleasure of going to this restaurant on Tuesday night. That night they had what's called their Hook Up Menu. You basically get 3 courses for no more than I think $25.99. You get a salad, entree and a dessert with the option to add their amazing Bang Bang Shrimp for $6 more. I ordered a mule to drink and had them to add pomegranate to it for a little more flavor. I then ordered a Caesar salad, the Atlantic salmon drizzled with lemon butter with garlic whipped potatoes and steamed asparagus for my sides and cheesecake for dessert. All of my food came out in a timely manner and the execution was amazing. Krysta was my waitress and she made me feel right at home.
