04/16/2026 I totally forgot I didn't leave my review on the items my husband and I tried earlier this week! Every so often you have to take a scroll back and see if anything new has been added to the menus. Not sure if this is new, but it's definitely something I haven't tried. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp along with the Fried Shrimp Po' Boy platter and Hush Puppies. The Bang Bang Shrimp sauce was different from what we had tasted before, but it was good. I was looking for a sweeter taste but again, it still had a great taste. It came on a bed of lettuce. The Shrimp Po' Boy platter came with French Fries. The fries were crunchy and delicious! Matter of fact, they were perfect:) The Shrimp Po' Boy was good and simple. It didn't have a lot of stuff on it, which was cool for me. Again, the sauce was okay but the shrimp and fixings were delightful. These Hush puppies are always good, so no complaints there. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. This is a place I recommend. People are in and out, and it's a revolving door, so you already know you're in the right spot. There's a wait for your food, but it's worth it. I ordered the shrimp; they were seasoned and breaded well, cooked fresh, and a great size. I really enjoyed them. The fries were fresh and tasty. They are the crispy seasoned fries. The hush puppies are so delicious and greasy but are very delicious. The lemonade is very delightful and refreshing. It's clean in the restaurant, and everyone is so nice. HIGHLY recommend coming to Garners for a seafood boil. It was super flavorful and was delicious. I got the 1/2 lb spicy garlic shrimp special and it definitely could've been spicier, but nonetheless delicious. I would definitely come back here if I am in the area again. read more

Found Garner's on Yelp and was pleasantly pleased with our find. From the moment we walked in, we knew we scored a winner. Happy, helpful staff and a solid menu we opted for a shrimp basket with fries and an order of fried oysters (5 piece). We noticed the oysters were somewhat small and obviously the chef did, too. He added 3 extra pieces at no charge. Just made an executive decision without us saying a word. Excellent! Everything tasted good and we'll definitely return when in the area. The dining area closes an hour before the shop so lots of to go orders without much room to wait. Food was good, especially the scallops.

When I had the taste for a good spicy seafood boil, Garners Ferry Seafood absolutely DELIVERED! The shrimp were cooked perfectly. Not overdone like some places, these were tender and flavorful. Their combination of house sauce and spicy garlic gave you that right balance of buttery, sweet, and savory. The sausage, corn, and potatoes were cooked well too! If you've been around enough you'll know that the sides can be an afterthought and they definitely weren't here. The staff were friendly and worked quickly as they were busy. This is a no frills establishment so don't be looking for white table cloths lol, but when I tell you this is so good you'll want to eat on the bed of your truck while having a cold one and you wouldn't care who's staring at you? Great for a seafood boil! We visited Garners Ferry Seafood & More for dinner on a Tuesday evening and found it moderately busy. The interior had yellow and orange walls, some nautical decor, and a casual ambiance. We ordered at the counter, and I chose the Snow Crab & Shrimp Special with 2 Clusters. They had fountain drinks available, so I made my own Arnold Palmer. We seated ourselves, and the food didn't take too long to come out. The portion size was very large, and I ended up with some leftovers to take home. The best part of the boil was easily the crab, although it was a lot of work to eat. They didn't provide crab crackers initially, but these were available upon request. The shrimp were a little overcooked, but I find that common with a seafood boil. I requested no sausage, so they let me choose between extra corn and extra potatoes. The corn, potatoes, and eggs all tasted as expected, and I liked the seasoning. Also, their butter was amazing! It was somehow thicker than usual and so great with the crab. My friends enjoyed their food as well, including the Shrimp, Fried Broccoli, and Popcorn Scallops. I'd probably skip the shrimp next time and just get more crab, but it was worth the visit! read more

We are visiting for our friend's graduation from basic training, and this was a highly recommend spot to try. Let me tell you...the amount of love, attention, care, and kindness that goes into the food AND customers is SO obvious and it makes me wish that I live in this area to visit here often! We were a party of 12, and all ordered something different. EVERYONE LOVED their respective meals! The freshly squeezed lemonade and homemade sweet tea were bomb as well! Service was good, food was hot. French fries were delicious but the popcorn shrimp were over breaded and seasoned. I couldn't taste the shrimp at all. My bad I should have ordered the spicy shrimp that way I wouldn't have any breaded taste. There were lots of people picking up orders and eating in the restaurant. Just know you may be happier with something other than the fried popcorn shrimp. read more

I had the whiting platter with a side of fried oysters. The wait was longer than I anticipated given the fact it wasn't that busy. I tried the oysters immediately and they were flavorful which gave me high hopes for the fish. However, the whiting was rubbery and absolutely didn't taste fresh given my 40 min wait. The fries were mid but the hush puppies were good. The fish pieces were a nice size they just lacked so much flavor and freshness, especially in comparison to the fried oysters. The customer service was good. Everyone was friendly, well spoken and made sure everyone had been helped. I would go back for the oysters and hush puppies, but not if I'm craving fish. read more

Ok so I've been wanting to try this place every since I heard about it. So we drove over and I was excited to try it because I love seafood. I walked in and noticed they had a nice little eating area and there was a line in front of me. They have a full menu and a good variety of seafood. When we finally got a chance to get to order I was like great! I ordered crab legs and it came with corn, sausage, eggs and three potato cakes. I also ordered the strawberry lemonade in a half gallon size. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and happy. My friend ordered the fried tilapia and it came with hush puppies and fries. And we ordered extra corn for her. Ok it's review time! The strawberry lemonade was good but wasn't sweet enough for me but it was still good. The lemons were fresh squeezed and it had bits of strawberries in it. My friend enjoyed her fish plate. The fish was fluffy, not weighed down in grease and good. She said all of it was good. The crab legs were really good and I had two of them. The corn wasn't my favorite but my friend loved it. I didn't like the sausage but I loved the eggs. I can't speak on the potato cakes because I didn't try them and to be honest I was full. It took me three tries to finish. I meant to take a picture before I started in but forgot. I was out of town and placed a large order for my niece to pick up. The orer was 190 dollars.... I ordered, a pan of wings, a regular order of fried oysters 1 seafood boil with 1 cluster of crablegs, included was 1 pound of shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes. first of all, this should not have been 190 dollars I ordred a pan of 20 wings and I got 10 tilapia fish. GF Seafood and more lost a good customer tonight. 1. Called in my order for the 2 piece flounder platter with 10 piece shrimp, hush puppies and fries. Had to call twice because they hung up on me the first time. 2. Got there to pick up and the guy charged me $13. I knew it was supposed to be $18 because it's what I always order. They didn't add the shrimp, so they had to redo the order. The place was very crowded so I had to wait for them to redo. 3. When they completed my order, I picked it up and left. The bag felt light to me, so I checked it when I got in my truck. No shrimp. 4. I took it back in and they had to inspect to make sure I wasn't lying to them. So, they had to redo, and i had to wait again. When I received the order, they assured me that the shrimp was included, so I left. 5. When I got home (I only live 6 minutes from the restaurant) the only thing that was hot was the shrimp. The flounder looked like it was cooked 3 times (burnt) and the fries looked like the leftovers in a potato chip bag. Needless to say, I won't be going back. Breezy's on Leesburg Rd will probably get my business from now on. One star was very generous! read more

First time trying this place, found it online and it was worth the drive for me. Food was amazing, just wish it had more Cajun flavor for my liking lol. It was a pick up order I made online, however they called to verify the order and some instructions I had placed on which was very nice of them. Been here a few times and the food has always been hot and fresh. My only complaint is they should clean the windows as they had dead bugs from 1957 in them. Their lemonade is always good but very sweet. Customer service can be hit or miss depending on who get. read more

They're as good as everyone says. You won't find better seafood platters in town. Maybe as good, but not better. They're not close to where I live, but when I'm nearby, I stop in. A couple of times I was being cheap and just ordered a couple of pieces of whiting as a snack, and even that was better than the whiting I've gotten elsewhere in the midlands.
