    Such a tasty boil!
    Wesley M.

Our server Imanni was spot on and all over it. She totally took care of my family tonight. Given the opportunity, ask for her section. I've had my fair share of boils all up and down the East coast and I have to say that Juicy Crab holds it own . Nothing was over cooked. The potatoes and corn were perfect, the shrimp and crab clusters were exceptional. A lot of time the shrimp will be rubbery and the crab shells soft...but not here. I was more than pleased with my meal and I got to say that the house special (a blend of all the offered flavors) on the boil was very tasty. It was truly a finger licking experience. Service - Spot on Food - Out Freaking Standing A total Friends and Family recommendation and Yelp Book mark.

**Review: Juicy Crab Harbison** My recent visit to Juicy Crab Harbison with my mom was deeply disappointing. The air conditioning was not working, making the dining area uncomfortably warm. The sweet tea was over-brewed with a terrible aftertaste. A customer dropped a glass on the floor, and it remained there for over 20 minutes, despite the manager being nearby and not assisting her struggling staff. Upon seating, we noticed multiple wet areas on the floor without any warning signs. We had to inform our server to place a wet floor sign to prevent accidents. This was our second visit, and sadly, it reinforced our poor impression of this location. The overall experience was far from pleasurable, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking good seafood. At checkout, the manager asked if everything was okay and I indicated "no" and she wanted off without a simple "is there anything i can do", "I'm sorry for the experience" or simply "can you tell me what was wrong"? I was not looking for anything to be taken off because I understand it's seafood, but it's the common courtesy of genuine customer service. you would want to at least try to make some valid compromise for a return visit however that was not the case. Moral for today's market is to stay home and cook saving me approximately $80 for dinner.

My husband and I came here for a late lunch/early dinner and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Our server Nichole was the reason I'm giving them an extra star because the seafood was just okay. We ordered the 3lb snow crab special and added crawfish with the juicy crab seasoning. We also got hush puppies for an appetizer. The hush puppies were really hot and fresh. They came with honey butter but my husband really loved them with cocktail sauce. The crawfish were really tasty. But for the price of the crab legs I was really disappointed. It was almost like the crab had been frozen for so long they pretty much disintegrated in the shell. The shell was also soft and rubbery and you couldn't crack them. The shrimp, potatoes and corn were really good and cooked well. I just think for over $100 the crab legs should be fresh. Also, if you are sensitive to music I would recommend finding another place to eat because it was a little extra with the rap music blaring while I was trying to enjoy my meal.

Another view of the bar that ambience is very nice in this restaurant.

Nice place friendly staff. Good drinks but the food is not what I expected. It's like a Lowcountry boil, and I was hoping for something more refined. At least what I ordered was. It's highly possible that I picked the wrong thing for me off the menu. I would go and try it again just to see if something else was more to my liking. The ambience is great. The chicken wings were really delicious!

Boil with black mussels, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage

Returned with a friend on a Saturday evening. We were supposed to have a 30 minute wait, but it only ended up being a 15 minute wait. Our waitress informed us that there would be an extra wait on the seafood side, so we ordered some hush puppies for starters; they came with some boom boom sauce. I can't remember how long we waited for our food because we were talking the entire time, but it did not seem excessively long. I ordered the boil with the shrimp, mussels, corn, potatoes, and sausage. I got the Juicy Special (all of the seasoning mixes) with a medium spice level. I love the boil bags because all of the food is coated in the seasoning. It had lots of garlic, which I love, and the seasonings were perfect. The medium was tad spicier than I expected, so I will likely do mild next time. We had leftovers, and got paper bags and plastic bags for it. The food definitely warms up well if you like leftovers. The customer service was pretty good and the facilities were clean.

This is my fourth time coming here. I always forget to make a review. Brandon is my favorite waiter, he listens, offers suggestions and is always on top of things like checking in and providing refills. If you're wanting seasoned seafood, come here. If you're wanting bland seafood with fancy tables go elsewhere. I got half a pound of shrimp, a cluster of crab and 3 extra pieces of corn for under $30. If you don't like waiting I suggest you go before 6 when It starts to get crowded.

It's not great, but it's a solid average for a bag boil place. If I were in the area again, I would try somewhere else.

They opened at 11:00 and we walked in at 11:01, anxious to get our fish! The waitress was great and set us up quickly at a table and took our drink orders and brought us Guiness and teas. She heard all the chatter about the Fish N Chips and the next thing she said is "We don't have any beer batter yet, so no Fish N Chips! Immediately there were groans and moans. We had our beer and had come here specifically for the Fish N. Chips. She went back to check and returned saying "Yep, no beer batter so no Fish N Chips". Several of us joked that we may as well drink our beer and go next door to the Mongolian Yummy Stir fry place. We now started browsing for other menu items that we wanted. After about five minutes she came back out and said they could make up some batter but didn't know how long it would take. (How long does it take to stir up beer batter?). We said we'd wait. In the meantime two of our guys placed orders for the Scottish Eggs and Onion Rings for the table. They were both excellent. Three of us ordered the Fish N Chips and two had decided to go with the Bangers and Mash. One order for the Beef Eater sandwich, one Club Sandwich and one Rueben Sandwich. The food came out and the fish n chips were great. Not greasy, crispy, large haddock slice with great french fries. and green peas (which were barely luke ward, almost cold). The two guys with the Bangers and Mash loved it..Great sausage and the potatoes were excellent with mustard. The Rueben was great and also the Beef Eater. The waitress did a great job, checking on us throughout lunch. All in all, what started out as a questionable lunch turned into another fine lunch for the ROMEO group. The rating was 9.18 on the ROMEO scale...5.0 on Yelp scale. Only issue was something was wrong with the tea. It almost looked like water. Maybe because we were the first group in and the tea had just been made.

When the British Bulldog calls itself a "pub", I feel like it's one of the very few places that takes that moniker to heart. Even though it's located in somewhat of a strip-mall setting, once you walk inside the building, you're amazed by the authenticity of the inside. Personally, I loved the brick and wood that made up the interior, which gave the restaurant the realistic "pub" vibe that I mentioned earlier. Furthermore, I loved the framed, and hanging, soccer flags, which was a marked contrast to the professional and college sports paraphernalia at your typical American sports bar. I walked in kind of late, and just sat at the bar, which still made for a great experience. Even though it's an English restaurant, they still had a lot of the popular local and domestic beers, to go along with the more English-themed beverages. I asked if they had any "sours", and the bartender was kind enough to offer me a sample of the two (2) sours that they had on tap, and let me choose the one I liked the most. The aforementioned bartender was great, and I overheard him offering some folks from out-of-town with recommendations for nearby late-night spots and high-quality local joints. Finally, my simple order of chicken tenders and fries was pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed their steak-cut "chips," or French Fries. All-in-all, I waited too long to try out the British Bulldog, which was a great pub experience that definitely lived up to my high expectations. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and in turn, would recommend it to anybody else!

Fourteen Mile Tap House has revamped the inside of the building and has made it a lot more open with some extra TVs. They extended the inside bar and expanded the seating area. They've got a pretty solid selection of beers, but I would have liked to see more sours and ciders, personally. They don't have a huge selection of bottled/canned beers, but between the draft selection, cans/bottles, domestics, wines, and even some frozen drinks, you're sure to find something you'll like! The pina colada was pretty decent. It is pre mixed, so it's not a hand crafted cocktail, but I was not mad at it one bit. The food menu wasn't too bad, but I think it could use some improving. The pretzels are not made in house and leave a lot to be desired. We got the Brie and mango chutney, which was good, but we definitely expected the Brie to be baked or broiled or warmed in some capacity, but it wasn't. The menu doesn't suggest it will be warm, we just assumed it would be. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was a little difficult to spread on thin crackers, so it got really messy. Nachos my friends got looked fine, but not overly impressive by any means. It's definitely bar food, not a fancy restaurant. Overall, we had a good experience. The prices were fair, the service was great, the establishment was clean, and there is a good variety of drinks to cater to damn near everyone. I will most certainly return to Fourteen Mile Tap House with some hope of the quality of the food improving.
